Day in My Life in Ajijic, Mexico (Part 2)

I'm a solo female living in Mexico and this is what my life is like in Ajijic at Lake Chapala (farmer's market, delicious food, shopping, and more!)
❁❁Want to learn Spanish? I recommend this course:

In this Mexico vlog, I'm exploring the Wednesday Market in Ajijic, which is an open-air market filled with food (like my favorite barbacoa tacos!), clothes, jewelry, artisan products, fresh produce, and so much more. Later, I head to one of my favorite restaurants in Ajijic, Vegan Town with gluten-free pizza. Then, I continue around town on foot in search of a print & copy place and a store for birthday goodies!

What do you think of my life in Mexico? Let me know in the comments if I can answer any questions for you.

Ajijic's Hidden Sanctuary + Riding a CRAZY horse!

Horseback riding, an ionic pool, & the most ZEN place in Ajijic? Lake Chapala continues to surprise us!
►Learn Spanish like us:

► Think you'll love Villa del Angel as much as we do? Check 'em out! (P.S. They're bilingual!)

In today's Mexico travel vlog, we experience even more of Ajijic, Jalisco. We are so glad we took a chance on Villa del Angel B&B because it was just the health retreat we needed. While we were there, we tried out horseback riding for the first time, enjoyed Thai food, and relaxed at this huge former hacienda/mansion with stretching, meditation, homemade breakfasts...and one REALLY unexpected surprise. Mexico continues to shock us.

The DARK SIDE of Ajijic, Mexico

People love Ajijic at Lake Chapala...but what aren't they telling you? If you want to move or retire to Ajijic, watch this!
►Watch all our videos from Lake Chapala:

We're one of the thousands of expats who adore the charming qualities of Ajijic, Jalisco, Mexico. But it's true, there are some details that aren't the greatest. We wanted to make this video to give people the full picture on Ajijic (the negative details you might even call deal breakers) to make sure people can make an educated decision about moving to or retiring in Ajijic.

As Americans living in Mexico, we think the Lake Chapala area as a lot to offer. But it's not without its downsides.

If you're considering retiring in a Latin America country, Mexico could very well be a great fit! Immigration from the US is extremely common, there are more migrants coming to Lake Chapala every day!

Although the Ajijic area has a lot going for it, it can be hard to find information about the negative side of things. This video is your resource!

What do you think? Are these reasons enough to keep you away? Did we forget to mention anything? Let us know in the comments.

Driving the Ruta De Las Flores ???????? Backpacking El Salvador ???????? Travel Vlog

I'm still in Santa Ana in El Salvador and today we rented scooters again and drove the Ruta De Las Flores from Sonsonate to Ahuachapan. On the way, we stopped off at Nahuizalco, Salcoatitan, Juayua and the Chorros De La Calera, Apaneca and finally Ataco. It was a full-on jam-packed day and our timing wasn't exactly perfect - we overestimated what we would be able to achieve so there was a few things we have saved for another day. But regardless, it was a fantastic day out on the scooters! We returned to Hostal Villa El Campanario (where we are staying in Santa Ana) just in time for Happy Hour which makes for a very happy backpacking banana!

How do you afford to travel? - I now earn a full time living through creating these YouTube videos, affiliate links, selling digital products and my clothing line. I used to simply just work any temporary job I could find to save up to travel! I budget the money I earn meticulously to reach my savings goals using
Is travelling solo safe? - I would argue the answer is almost always yes! As long as you use your common sense and you follow your own government's guidelines about travelling in that country. I have made several videos on backpacking safety on my channel.
Do you have plans to settle down? Yes, I'm currently saving to purchase my first property in the UK and I'd love to have children one day. I doubt I'll ever live a completely 'conventional' lifestyle by society's standards though, as I often have my own preferred way of doing things.

LA CALERA Watervallen EL SALVADOR - Travel Vlog in HD

This is how we party in RURAL ZACATECAS | Feria de San Lorenzo 2022

Today’s video will show you what a festival looks like in rural Zacatecas. We are back in San Lorenzo Zacatecas also known as Colonia Antonio R Vela, my family's (Jenny) hometown. San Lorenzo is a rural town near Villanueva Zacatecas and has a population of approximately 250 people. Every August 10th, the community hosts a festival to celebrate San Lorenzo, its patron saint. Families who have migrated away from San Lorenzo normally love to come back and celebrate with their loved ones. It’s not the most impressive festival in the world but it’s one of the most special events for our beloved town of San Lorenzo Zacatecas.

Unlocking Acapulco's Best-Kept Secret: A Must-See Beach Destination

Want to find the best beach in Acapulco Mexico? Well, Calera Beach is certainly a spit to check out. Crowded with Mexicans on vacation from Mexico City, this is the beach the Mexicans choose.
Away from tourists from other regions of the world, see which Beach the Mexicans choose while they visit Acapulco.

This isn't the beach to come to relax though. There's so much activity on Caleta beach, from fisherman walking by with their catch hanging from a stick, to a swim up boat selling cevich. Restaurants fill the beach with their tables and chairs in the sand, while peddlers walk around selling oysters and other strange delights. Why not get a massage right on the beach by a lady who walks by with her massage oil?

This is also the perfect place for snorkeling. Many snorkeling boats line the shore ready to take you to a small nearby Island. Be careful though, some of the snorkeling gear is very old and leaky.

By the way, I wrote a book... my Memoir! It's about seeing the world through your heart, working hard, and following your dreams. It's about ending the cycle of poverty and abuse to become a physician. The title is, WILDFLOWER, A TALE OF TRANSCENDENCE, and can be on Amazon, or you can request it at your favorite bookstore or local library.
