CSMT/Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus -- NZM/Hazrat Nizamuddin

The Indian Railways is all set to flag off a new bi-weekly Mumbai-Delhi Rajdhani Express on Saturday (January 19) in a bid to accommodate high bookings on this route.
This is the first such Rajdhani Express on the Mumbai-Delhi route passing through two significant Hindi heartland states -- Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. It will also be the first Rajdhani in the state which will take a detour via Madhya Pradesh, instead of Gujarat.
The new bi-weekly Mumbai-Hazrat Nizamuddin Rajdhani Express between Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and Delhi’s Hazrat Nizamuddin station will stop at key locations including Kalyan, Nasik Road, Jalgaon, Bhopal, Jhansi and Agra Cantonment stations.
Train number 22221 will leave from CSMT every Wednesday and Saturday at 2.50 pm and arrive at Delhi’s Hazrat Nizamuddin station at 10:20 am the following day.
Meanwhile, train number 22222 will leave Hazrat Nizamuddin station from Delhi every Thursday and Sunday at 4.15 pm and reached CSMT in Mumbai at 11.55 am the next day.
The new train will have approximately 15 coaches along with one first AC coach, three AC 2-tier coaches, eight AC 3-tier coaches and a pantry car.

New Rajdhani Express: रेल मंत्रालय ने मुंबई से दिल्ली के बीच तीसरी राजधानी ट्रेन को मंजूरी दे दी है। ये राजधानी एक्सप्रेस मध्य रेलवे चलाएगा। जानिए नई राजधानी का टाइम टेबल और स्टेशन की लिस्ट।
नई दिल्ली: रेल मंत्रालय ने मध्य रेलवे की नई राजधानी एक्सप्रेस को मंजूरी दे दी है। मुंबई से दिल्ली के बीच ये तीसरी राजधानी ट्रेन होगी। मध्य रेलवे के लिए ये पहली राजधानी ट्रेन होगी। मंत्रालय ने 15 जनवरी को इसकी मंजूरी दे दी है। नई राजधानी ट्रेन मुंबई के सीएसटी स्टेशन से नई दिल्ली के हजरत निजामुद्दीन स्टेशन के बीच चलेगी।
मुंबई से ये राजधानी हर बुधवार और शनिवार को चल सकती है। वहीं नई दिल्ली से गुरुवार और रविवार को इस ट्रेन को चलाया जा सकता है। अभी ट्रेन का अंतिम टाइम टेबल जारी नहीं हुआ है। नई ट्रेन 20 घंटे में मुंबई से नई दिल्ली का सफर पूरा करेगी। रेल मंत्रालय के सर्कुलर के मुताबिक ट्रेन का नंबर 22221 और 22222 होगा। ये सीएसटी से ट्रेन दोपहर 2 बजकर 20 मिनट पर चलेगी और दिल्ली दूसरे दिन सुबह 10 बजकर 20 मिनट पर पहुंचेगी।
वहीं दिल्ली से ये ट्रेन 3 बजकर 45 मिनट से चलकर दूसरे दिन मुंबई 11 बजकर 55 मिनट पर पहुंचेगी। राजधानी एक्सप्रेस कल्याण, नाशिक, जलगांव, झांसी और आगरा कैंट स्टेशनों पर रूकेगी।
अभी राजधानी एक्सप्रेस पश्चिम रेलवे ही चलाता है। मध्य रेलवे के लिए ये पहली राजधानी ट्रेन होगी। राजधानी एक्सप्रेस महाराष्ट्र के कई शहरों से पहली बार गुजरेगी। महाराष्ट्र में इसकी मांग लंबे समय से हो रही थी।

India's first train travelled from Mumbai to Thane in April 1853. By May 1854, the Great Indian Peninsula Railway's Mumbai-Thane line was extended to the Kalyan Railway Station. Bhusawal Junction railway station was built in 1860, but it was not open for traffic until the mid-1860s. The line was lengthened to Khandwa in 1866 and to Nagpur in 1867.[3][4] Now, Manmad Junction Railway Station is connected to numerous Indian cities like Mumbai CST, Pune Jn, and Secunderabad Jn. Based on the number of bookings, the Manmad Railway Station is ranked between #1-100 out of all stations on the Indian Railway.[5] As of 2018, Wi-Fi is available at this railway station. Manmad is a station where the Sachkhand Express stops, heading from Shri Amritsar Sahib to Sachkhand Shri Hazoor Sahib, Nanded. Sikh Pilgrims often travel on this train, and the local Sikh community from Manmad organize free food for the pilgrims every day. The railways in the Niphad-Manmad-Nandagaon sector were changed from locomotive to electric in a process that was accomplished between 1968 and 1969. Manmad has an electric locomotive trip shed to supply and control the trains. The Central Railway has plans to double the line between Daund and Manmad.

Lasalgaon is famous for Wine Grapes. Vinchur, which is about 5 km from Lasalgaon, is also known as Wine Manufacturing city. National Horticultural Research and Development Foundation Lasalgaon ( NHRDF ) developed varieties of Onion and Garlic in its center. The NHRDF under its development program produces and distributes quality seed of Onion and Garlic to the farmers as a service. Lasalgaon is also famous for Ahilyadevi Holkar's fort located in the center of the city built in the 17th century.

The onion is one of the most important commercial vegetable crops grown in India. The demand for onion is worldwide. It is used both in raw and mature bulb stage as vegetable and spices. The pungency in onion is due to a volatile oil known as ally-proopyldisulphide. The bulb of onion consists of swollen bases of green foliage leaves and fleshy scales. Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, A.P., Bihar and Punjab are the important onion producing states.

Maharashtra is a leading state in onion production. Out of total annual production of about 60 lakh tonnes of country, about 16 lakh tonnes are produced in Maharashtra alone. In Maharashtra, though Nasik, Ahmednagar, Pune and Satara are the major onion producing districts, the production is taken in three seasons, i.e. Kharif (May-July to Oct-Dec.) Late-Kharif (Aug-Sep. to Jan-Mar) and Rabi (Oct-Nov. to April-June). Though onion is produced in three seasons, the onions produced in rabi season are only suitable for storage as the variety grown in this season has higher TSS, dry matter and more number of outer dried intact scales.

It was introduced on 1 November 1975.

12110 UP Panchavati Express departs Manmad Junction at 06:02 IST and reaches Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST), Mumbai at 10:45 IST. 12109 DOWN Panchvati Express departs Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus(CST), Mumbai daily at 18:15 IST and reaches Manmad Junction at 22:50 IST. The train covers a distance of 258 km between Manmad Junction and Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus.

Stoppage

Chandwad Fort (Chandor fort; चांदवड किल्ला) is located 10 km from Chandwad, Nashik district, of Maharashtra. Chandwad fort was positioned to overlook the trade route from Khandesh to Nashik. It guarded the Chandor pass in the nearby hills. It was built about A.D. 801 by Dridhaprahara, the founder of the Seuna (Yadava) dynasty.

King Bhoj established 52 temples in the nearby region. His daughter, Chandrakala, was married to King Vikram at this fort. The fort was under the control of the Bahmani Sultanate in the 14th century. In 1635 the Moghul army took Chandor fort along with Indrai fort. In 1665 Chanwad fort was taken by the Maratha Empire. It was later captured by the Moghul emperor, Aurangzeb. Between 1754 and 1756, Malharrao Holkar induced craftsmen to settle in the town by gifting some land. Chandwad then became famous for its brass-work. On 10 April 1818, after the surrender of Ankai and Tankai forts, the British forces captured Chanwad fort under the detachment headed by Lieutenant-Colonel McDowell. In 1857, during the first war of independence (the rebellion), the 24th Maratha regiment initially took charge of the fort but had to surrender it to British forces in 1859.
After the opening in 1861 of the G.I.P. Railway depot at Manmad, the bulk of trade line traffic was diverted away from Chandwad.

The 12113⇋12114 Nagpur Pune Garib Rath Express is a superfast express train of Garib Rath class belonging to Indian Railways - Central Railway zone that runs between Nagpur Junction and Pune Junction in India. It is thrice a week service. It operates as train number 12113 from Pune Junction to Nagpur Junction and as train number 12114 in the reverse direction.
The Nagpur Pune Garib Rath Express has 20 AC 3 tier coaches. Unlike some Garib Rath trains, it does not have AC Chair Car coaches. The number of coaches were added / removed as per the demand on the train.
It is a premier train on the Nagpur Pune sector. Some of the other trains that join Nagpur & Pune are the 11039/40 Maharashtra Express & 12129/30 Azad Hind Express. It covers the distance of 890 kilometres in 15 hours 45 mins as 12113 Pune Nagpur Garib Rath Express (56.51 km/hr) & 15 hours 10 mins as 12114 Nagpur Pune Garib Rath Express (58.68 km/hr).
12113 Pune Nagpur Garib Rath Express leaves Pune Junction at 17:40 hrs IST and reaches the Nagpur Junction next day at 09:25 hrs IST . On return, the 12114 Nagpur Pune Garib Rath Express leaves Nagpur Junction at 18:35 hrs IST and reaches Pune Junction next day at 09:45 hrs IST.
Earlier, the train was hauled between Pune Junction and Manmad Junction by a Pune based WDM-3A handing over to a Bhusaval based WAP-4 or Ajni based WAP-7 for the remainder of its journey.
With progressive electrification, it is now hauled by a Bhusaval based WAP-4 or Ajni based WAP-7 for its entire journey.

Manmad Junction Railway Station is a central railway junction in India serving the town of Manmad in the Nashik district of Maharashtra. The station in the city is called Manmad Junction, and its station code is MMR. It is one of the Central Railway's major stations connecting Nashik with other cities and towns in the region. Ajanta Express is an Express train belonging to South Central Railway Zone that runs between Secunderabad and Manmad in India.It is currently being operated with 17063/17064 train numbers on Daily basis.
History :
Ajanta Express runs through eastern Maharashtra (Marathwada region) and north-western region of Telangana. It was known as Kacheguda Express very often by the people travelling on Kacheguda-Nizamabad-Nanded-Aurangabad route on former Hyderabad-Godavari Valley Railways.
The train was introduced on 1 Apr. 1967 as a metre gauge train between Kacheguda railway station and Manmad, via Nizamabad, Nanded and Aurangabad. The train became popular in a short time as Manmad Junction on 1,676 mm (5 ft 6 in) broad gauge was the point to take broad gauge trains to other destinations.
After the track from Manmad to Parbhani was converted to broad gauge in 1992–95 and the track from Parbhani to Mudkhed and Nizamabad was still not converted, the train was re-routed between Kacheguda and Manmad via Bidar and Parbhani in 1995–1996 because the metre gauge had been converted between Vikarabad and Parbhani by then. In 2007, the train again diverted to its old route which had been converted into broad gauge in 2002–2003.
Ajanta Express (Kacheguda-Manmad) was the fastest metre gauge train in India with an average speed of 42.5 kilometres per hour (26.4 mph) in 1967

12110 UP Panchavati Express departs Manmad Junction at 06:02 IST and reaches Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST), Mumbai at 10:45 IST. 12109 DOWN Panchvati Express departs Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus(CST), Mumbai daily at 18:15 IST and reaches Manmad Junction at 22:50 IST. The train covers a distance of 258 km between Manmad Junction and Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus.
