Forest Village without Roads in Russia. Far From Civilization in Taiga. How people live in Russia?

These remote villages are located in the Tashtagol region.
There are Shors live. This is the indigenous people of Russia. There are very few of them left and these people are threatened with complete extinction. In total, there are 13,000 Shors left on Earth. And most of them live on the territory of Mountain Shoria. Kemerovo region of Russia.

Not far from Ust Anzas there are such villages as: Ust Azas, Za-Mrasu, (up the river Mrasu); Far Kezek, Near Kezek, Cheley and the village of Parushka (down the Mrasu River). There are no roads to these villages, so many of them are already abandoned.

For a long time, taiga people lived without electricity, gas, communications and roads. And only in 2019, the authorities provided every house with solar panels. Now the locals have refrigerators and TVs in their homes. But still there is no cellular communication and the Internet. There is no school. In September, children are sent to a boarding school in Tashtagol. And they come to their parents only for the holidays. It was such a time that we found them in this amazing village.

Mountain Shoria (Shorsk. Taglyg Shor) is a mountain-taiga region located in the southern part of the Kemerovo region at the junction of Altai, Sayan and Kuznetsk Alatau. The region can conditionally be attributed to the Altai mountain system.

Mountain Shoria got its name from the indigenous people - the Shors.

Alexander Radishchev: Ablyazovo (Radishevo) |

Kuznetsk is a city (since 1780) in the Penza region of Russia. The first mention was in 1699.
The Kuznetsk Cultural and Exhibition Center (Museum of Local Lore) and the Museum of Military Glory function. In this video you can get acquainted with the history of the Drama Theater, and in April you can visit the Golden Province International Theater Festival.

In the village of Verkhneye Ablyazovo (now Radishevo), 17 km south of the city, there is a local history museum named after A. N. Radishchev, a Russian prose writer, poet, philosopher, de facto head of the St. Petersburg customs, a member of the Commission on Drafting laws under Alexander I.

Alexander Radishchev (1749-1802) became best known for his main work Journey from St. Petersburg to Moscow, which he published anonymously in June 1790. The book sold out quickly. His bold arguments about serfdom and other phenomena of the then public and state life attracted the attention of the Empress Catherine II herself, to whom someone delivered a Journey and who called Radishchev a rebel, worse than Pugachev. A copy of the book has been preserved, which fell on Catherine's table, which she crossed out with her remarks. Thus began the story of persecution and the return of the writer.

And in the village of Nizhny Ablyazovo, a unique church (1724) with the works of the Italian master Laura Morrel has been preserved. A priceless relic of the temple is a five–tiered gilded carved iconostasis made of wood in the Baroque style. And the legend is how one landowner (Alexander Radishchev's great-grandfather) tricked his eldest daughter instead of the youngest.

How do people live in Izhevsk, Russia?

Izhevsk is the capital of the Udmurt Republic of Russia. It bears the unofficial title of the arms capital of Russia. Today Udmurt factories produce Topol-M strategic intercontinental ballistic missiles and Iskander-M operational-tactical missiles.
Since 1944, about 3,000 prisoners of war - Germans, Hungarians, Romanians - lived in 65 barracks in the Leninsky district of Izhevsk. Today Izhevsk residents continue to live in these barracks. Many households still lack a sewerage system.

Trans Siberian Expedition - Part Three - Kuznetsk to St. Petersburg - 15 June to 18 June 2016

The Trans Siberian Expedition was completed in less than 12.5 days at an incredible 810 kms per day. Intense drama and considerable stress accompanied the final moments of the expedition and its following day. However, the successful completion of the 10,117 km solo drive along the second longest highway in the world paled everything else into insignificance. The expedition was recognised as a World Record by Limca Book of Records and I published a travelogue called An Indian Cheetah In Siberia.

I found old Russian coal mine in Kyrgyzstan : Jyrgalan

I explored an abandoned coal mine of Soviet time in Kyrgyzstan’s remote village Jyrgalan. Visited a local’s house on being invited for ‘Chai’. Had some funny and interesting experience while searching his home. Those who think language is a big barrier in travelling the world must watch this video. I am sure this video will tempt you to explore some of the world’s unknown regions and meet some amazing people.

This video is a part of my Kyrgyzstan travel series - I spent 3 months in Kyrgyzstan in late 2019. Besides Bishkek, Karakol, Issyk Kul (lake) which are the most popular destinations in Kyrgyzstan, I visited some offbeat places like Jyrgalan valley, Song Kul (lake). Did horse riding trips, stayed in Yurt camps, hitchhiked and stayed with locals. I volunteered in village farms, hostels and NGOs to get the holistic experience of my trip and central Asian culture. All this you will find In this series. #Kyrgyzstan #IndianTraveller #TravelVlog
