Hidden Jewel of Bundelkhand - Dhubela - Chhatarpur
Dhubela, is located on the Chhatarpur-Nowgaon highway, in Chhatarpur District, Madhya Pradesh, India.Maharaja Chhatrasal (4 May 1649 -- 19 December 1731), was a medieval Indian warrior who fought against the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb, and established his own kingdom in Bundelkhand, becoming a Maharaja. Maharaja Chhatrasal Maqbara is one of those historical monuments of Chattarpur that is actually the cenotaph of the Maharaja of Chhatrasal, it is also an important monument from architectural point of view. This beautiful example of Bundeli arctitecture was built by Baji Rao Peshawa(First) in memory of Maharaja Chhatrasal in1736 A. D. Other Monuments in Dhubela........... Maharani Kamlapati Cenotaph.It is an octagonal structure situated on a high platform. There are latticed ventilations on all four sides. Built in 17th century the monument is a fine example of Bundeli style. Sheetal Garhi was Built in 17th century during the period of Maharaja Chhatrasal, this famous monument exemplifies the rich Bundeli art. This fortress was built for residential purpose to escape the excessive heat in the peak of summer. Its interior is decorated with foliage patterns. Maheba Gate, Built by Maharaja Chhatrasal in 17th century the gate represents the rich Bundeli art. It was built to connect Maheba and Mau Sahania. This huge entrance has two gates. Shri Krishna pranami mandir is near Maharaja Chhatrasal Cenotaph. Dhubela is 65 km from Khajuraho.

Nowgong Church, Madhya Pradesh
Nowgong is today a small dusty town in central India. At one point in time, it was an important British cantonment. And the church here functioned as the cantonment church for British officers. छतरपुर भारत के मध्य प्रदेश राज्य के छतरपुर ज़िले में स्थित एक नगर है। यह ज़िले का मुख्यालय भी है।
विश्व प्रसिद्ध खजुराहो का मंदिर छतरपुर जिले में ही हैं। छतरपुर की पूर्वी सीमा के पास से सिंघारी नदी बहती है। आरंभ में पन्ना सरदारों द्वारा शासित इस नगर पर 18वीं शताब्दी में कुंवर सोने शाह परमार का अधिकार हो गया। यह चारों ओर से पहाड़ों से घिरा है और वृक्षों, तालाबों तथा नदियों की बहुतायत के कारण अत्यंत दर्शनीय स्थल है। राव सागर, प्रताप सागर और किशोर सागर यहाँ के तीन महत्त्वपूर्ण तालाब हैं।
छतरपुर पहले एक देशी राज्य था जो अब एक जिला हैं। इसमें मुख्यत: मैदानी भाग था। जिले की समुद्रतट से औसत ऊँचाई ६०० फुट है। केन यहाँ की प्रमुख नदी है। उर्मल और कुतुरी उसकी सहायता नदियाँ हैं। यहाँ पुरातत्व की दृष्टि से महत्व के स्थानों में खजुराहो, १८वीं सदी की इमारतें, छतरपुर से १० मील पश्चिम स्थित राजगढ़ के पास एक किले के अवशेष एवं चंदेल द्वारा निर्मित अनेक तालाब हैं। कोदो, तिल, जौ, बाजरा, चना, गेहूँ तथा कपास यहाँ के मुख्य कृषिपदार्थ हैं।
छतरपुर नगर छतरपुर जिले का प्रधान कार्यालय है। यह बाँदा-सागर-सड़क पर स्थित है। पहले नगर तीन ओर से दीवारों से घिरा था। नगर के केंद्र में रामहल तथा अन्य कई अच्छे मकान हैं। यहाँ एक स्नातकोत्तर डिग्री कालेज तथा कुछ स्कूल हैं। ताँबे के बर्तन, लकड़ी के सामान तथा साबुन निर्माण यहाँ के उद्योगों में प्रमुख हैं। समुद्र की सतह से ऊँचाई १,००० फुट है। नगर के कई तालाबों में रानी ताल प्रमुख हैं।[

Chhatarpur Temple (Officially: Shri Aadya Katyayani Shakti Peetham) is located in a down town area in south of Delhi - Chhatarpur. This is the second largest temple complex in India, and is dedicated to Goddess, Katyayani. It is located at Chhatarpur, on the southwestern outskirts of the city of Delhi and is just 4 km (2.5 mi) from Qutub Minar, off Mehrauli-Gurgaon road.
The temple was established in 1974, by Baba Sant Nagpal ji, who died in 1998. His samadhi shrine lies in the premises of the Shiv-Gauri Nageshwar Mandir within the temple complex.
This temple was considered as the biggest temple in India and second largest in the world, before the Akshardham Temple was created in 2005 in Delhi. This temple is totally constructed from marble and on all the facets there is jaali (perforated stone or latticed screen) work. It can be classified a vessara style of architecture
The entire temple complex spread over 60 acres (24.3 ha), has over 20 small and large temples divided in three different complexes. The main deity in the temple is Goddess Katyayani, a part of Navadurga, the nine forms of Hindu goddess Durga or Shakti, worshipped during the Navratri celebrations.
A side shrine within the main temple houses a shrine of Goddess Katyayani (Durga), which opens only during the bi-annual Navratri season, when thousands of people throng the premises for darshan. One nearby room has been made as living room with tables and chairs made in silver, and another regarded as the Shayan Kaksha (Bed Room), where a bed, dressing table and table are carved in silver. This shrine opens on a large satsang or prayer hall, where religious discourses and bhajans, (religious songs) are held. Just at the entrance to the main temple, stand an old tree, where devotees tie holy threads for wish fulfillment.[5] Another shrine of Goddess Durga is open to devotees morning to evening, it lies above the shrines dedicated to Radha Krishna, and Lord Ganesh.

आद्या कात्यायिनी मंदिर
भारत की राजधानी दिल्ली में 'आद्या कात्यायिनी मंदिर' स्थित है, जो 'छतरपुर मंदिर' के नाम से भी प्रसिद्ध है। छतरपुर मंदिर दिल्ली का प्रसिद्ध धार्मिक स्थल है जिसे देखने के लिए दूर-दूर से लोग यहां आते हैं तथा माता के दर्शन एवं आशीर्वाद प्राप्त करने की इच्छा रखते हैं। छतरपुर मंदिर दिल्ली के बड़े और भव्य मंदिरों मे से एक है। विशाल क्षेत्र में फैला यह मंदिर अपनी प्रसिद्धि के कारण सभी के आकर्षण का प्रमुख केन्द्र रहा है। आद्या कात्यायिनी मंदिर या छतरपुर मंदिर देवी दुर्गा को समर्पित है जिसमें माता के भव्य रूप के दर्शन होते हैं। इस विशाल मंदिर में भगवान विष्णु, शिव, गणेश, हनुमान तथा भगवान राम सीता इत्यादि अन्य देवी-देवताओं के मंदिर भी स्थित हैं।
स्थापना
छतरपुर स्थित श्री आद्या कात्यायनी शक्तिपीठ मंदिर का शिलान्यास सन् 1974 में किया गया था। इसकी स्थापना कर्नाटक के संत बाबा नागपाल जी ने की थी। इससे पहले मंदिर स्थल पर एक कुटिया हुआ करती थी। आज वहां 70 एकड़ पर माता का भव्य मंदिर स्थित है। मंदिर परिसर में ही धर्मशाला, स्कूल व छोटा अस्पताल सहित आई.आई.टी. का संचालन किया जाता है। यह मंदिर माता के छठे स्वरूप माता कात्यायनी को समर्पित है। इसलिए इसका नाम भी 'कात्यायनी शक्तिपीठ' रखा गया है। [1] लगभग बीस छोटे-बड़े मंदिरों का यह स्थल दिल्ली में दूसरा सबसे बड़ा मंदिर माना जाता है।
