Penang National Park is the smallest national park in Malaysia. There are 3 walking trails that cut through the jungle here. We decided to take the right fork to head to Monkey Beach, which is the most popular and easiest of the three trails as it’s relatively flat.

Kulim is a district and administrative city in the south of Kedah. Its location is very close to Bukit Mertajam, Penang and is the third largest city in the state of Kedah attracting tourists to this city. In Kulim, Sunday to Friday can see students go to school because it is very close to the state of Penang, namely Bukit Mertajam and the city of Penang. Kulim Postcode is located in front of Penang only which is 09000. Penang is 10000-14000.
Kulim was originally a small settlement area in the 1950s. Now it is a developed place with industrial areas located around Kulim Town. The majority race in Kulim is bumiputera 65% and other races 35%. Most residents like to live in Kulim town because the daily traffic is not as congested as Penang. Kulim's weekend holiday is also set to start on Friday like other cities in Kedah. Most of the residents who live in Selama town which is located on the border of Kedah and Perak will also always come here to shop as the journey from Selama to Kulim only takes 30 minutes.
Bandar Kulim is also a science and technology city in Kedah as a rival to Georgetown City, Penang. Although the working day here is Sunday to Thursday, the weekend businesses are mostly Sundays. Dataran Kulim is an important location for government and non -government organizations to hold community and social activities.
Kulim is also close to Kampung Sungai Lembu and Machang Bubuk and also has roads to Butterworth and Penang in fact. To plan travel destinations from Kulim to Kuala Lumpur via the state of Penang, Road users can choose either through Junjong town which will pass through Jawi town toll plaza or choose Bukit Teh town which will pass through Bukit Tambun toll plaza in the southern part of Kulim or via Butterworth Highway -Kulim (BKE) located in the northern part of Kulim. If road users choose to keep driving in the state of Kedah, they will go through Jalan Sungai Ular which will pass through the Bandar Baharu toll plaza.
Kulim High Technology Park (English: Kulim Hi-Tech Park or KHTP) is a high-tech industrial area in Kulim, Kedah. This technology park is jointly developed by the Central Government and the Kedah State Government. The park has been carefully planned and designed with the help of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), an organization with extensive experience in industrial development.
The first phase of the park's 250 -hectare infrastructure was completed in 1994. The entire 1,450 -hectare technology park has been planned with an environmental framework to meet high -tech manufacturing, training and research and development (R&D) activities to meet a healthy modern lifestyle.
Kulim High Technology Park is managed by the Kulim Hi-tech Industrial Park Local Authority.

It is located in the unspoilt scenery of Sungai Sedim Recreational Park, about 50 minutes drive from the town of Kulim in Kedah. It took 14 months to build and was completed in March 2005. It is a substantial structure made from steel pylons and trusses which together weigh a massive 422,214 kg
I have always wondered what it’s like to fly high like a bird and enjoy a panoramic view of Mother Earth. Now, with Sungai Sedim’s Tree Top Walk, you can experience a bird’s-eye view of the rainforest. Rest your eyes with the lush greenery accompanied by the sound of the flowing, cool river. Standing 26 metres high from the forest floor, no trees were harmed in the making of the walk as it is self-supporting!

The Tree Top Walk Sungai Sedim | Kulim, Kedah
I really enjoyed the whole Canopy Walk cause I love the sound of the jungle, and being able to walk at the platform surrounding by the tree was amazing. Did you know, Nature Heals? Being in the nature, or even viewing scenes of nature, reduces anger, fear, stress and increase pleasant feelings.
Tips sebelum pergi The Tree Top Walk.
1) Kalau ada anak-anak kecil, pastikan dah ke tandas dulu sebelum mula berjalan di Canopy Walk. Ada tandas berdekatan kaunter tiket.
2) Bawak air, payung, topi jika perlu. Keseluruhan perjalanan lebih kurang 30-45 min bergantung berapa lama kita berhenti mengambil gambar dan video.
3) Kalau anda seorang yang extreme gayat, boleh fikir sebelum nak teruskan Canopy walk ni, sebab platform dia boleh nampak bawah. Tapi boleh ja cuba . Face your fear ????
4) Akhir sekali, jangan buang sampah merata-rata.

Taman ini terletak di Padang Meha, Kulim dan bagi yang kurang arif pasai Kulim lokasi dia terletak di highway ke Baling. Kalau dari Seberang Jaya, kita just ambik highway Butterworth-Kulim Expressway (BKE) dan terus sampai kita jumpa kilang pemasangan kereta Inokom. Taman ni terletak atas sedikit dari kilang ni.

The rapids at Sungai Sedim in Kulim, Kedah, Malaysia. This is right after a heavy rain. I can't confirm this but the locals say that the river is one of the top 10 best white water rafting spots in the world.
It was my first time there and it was awesome. When the river is calm, the water is clear and refreshingly cool. It's a nice place to go and forget about the world for a few days.
