The Beautiful Perlis, Malaysia | a Day Trip with Best 5 Things To Do | Small but Special
In this video, I’m sharing my experience travelling to Perlis, the most northern and smallest state in Malaysia. Perlis also has the Satun and Songkhla Provinces of Thailand on its northern border. Perlis known for its nature and uninterrupted development. Perlis landscape mostly are based on limestone. It has a lot to offer such as Padang Besar for shopping, Wang Kelian, Tasik Timah Tasoh, Kuala Perlis and many more. I’m sharing what are the things we can explore in a day. Honestly, I think a day is not enough. You may choose few attractions out of many. There is more to explore such as Gua Kelam, Kota Kayang Muzium. Below is the day trip itinerary to Perlis;
8.00 am – Depart from Penang
11.00 am – Arrive at Padang Besar for shopping
12.30 pm – Wang Kelian Viewpoint
2.00 pm – Tasik Timah Tasoh
5.30 pm – Kuala Perlis
7.30 pm – Dinner at Kuala Perlis
9.00 pm – Drive back to Penang
Some tips here, if you plan to go for sunset or sunrise especially Wang Kelian, Timah Tasoh Lake and Kuala Perlis, you may need to adjust the itinerary. You may need to drive early in the morning to catch up sunrise and low cloud around 6.30 am - 7.30 am. For sunset, I can say around 6pm - 7pm is a good time to catch up.

DISCOVER KUALA PERLIS / A TOWN IS BEING PAINTED / MALAYSIA TRAVEL VLOG / PERLIS TOURISM / KAMPUNG
We went out to discover Kuala Perlis and the surround villages (kampungs) that belong to the town. There is a lot going on at the moment - for example: They are painting a big part of Kuala Parlis, meaning on the island. A great initiative by the Royal Family of Perlis who is collaborating with the government and various agencies. I do think, however, that Kuala Perlis is the most underrated town I have ever visited in Malaysia. I was literarily blown away by this little old town with its stilt houses and alleyways as well as with its friendly people. I do urge anyone to visit the little but great of Perlis and not to let out Kuala Perlis.

Kuala Perlis is a town and mukim located in Perlis, Malaysia. It is also famous as the gateway to Langkawi Island by sea. In Kuala Perlis as well, plans are being made to create duty-free shopping malls for goods from three countries such as Thailand, Indonesia and Singapore in Bukit Putih which will be the main gateway to Malaysia.
Kuala Perlis is famous for its seafood, namely Laksa Kuala Perlis and fresh and delicious seafood. Bukit Kubu here is also very famous for its caves and the surrounding area is the site of an old war between the Old Kedah government and Siam which saw many lives lost.

$9 Ferry Ride From Kuala Perlis To Langkawi Island ????????
Arriving in Langkawi I walk from the bus station to the hotel, which takes about 10-15min. Having trouble booking a ticket online for the ferry the next morning, I decide to walk to the ferry ticketing center, to my luck it was closed! Being 5:30pm I then decide to walk around town and see what we can get into. The next morning I was in luck! I got a ticket but the seat was horrible. Finally arriving at Langkawi island only for it to be pouring down rain, I then find a taxi to my hotel and do a quick room/hotel tour.
