Such a beautiful summer day at the Grüneburg park in Frankfurt. Many things to do here!
The Grüneburgpark is a public park in Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany, located in the Westend quarter. It began as a park for the Grüne Burg, a castle from the 14th century. In 1789, the banker Peter Heinrich von Bethmann Metzler acquired the property, and had the park designed.
The green lung of Frankfurt, the Grüneburgpark, is the largest park within the avenue ring and the third largest in the entire city area after the Niddapark and the Ostpark. Named after the long-defunct Grüneburg, the former country estate of the Rothschild family, the extensive park was once a magnificent landscape garden owned by the family. Today, the approximately 29-hectare green space serves many Frankfurt citizens as an ideal place to relax, take a walk or go jogging. Whether parents with their children or dog owners, footballers or Frisbee players, sun worshippers or fitness enthusiasts, they all meet every day in the heart of Frankfurt, directly between the new university campus and the Palmengarten. With its large sunbathing lawns, winding and spacious walkways, Grüneburgpark virtually invites outdoor activities of all kinds.

Ein Pinguin namens Tobi, Mittelalter-Feeling auf einer Burgruine und ein Herz für altes Schmiede-Handwerk. Das sind nur drei Dinge, die Tobi Kämmerer gemeinsam mit den Zuschauern entdeckt. Denn er will herausfinden: Welche Highlights gibt es in Kronberg und Königstein im Taunus?
Tierpfleger Marcel stellt Tobi im Opel-Zoo Kronberg seine Schützlinge vor: Brillenpinguine. Tobi ist gleich verliebt. Und noch mehr als er erfährt, dass einer der Neuzugänge nach ihm benannt wurde.
Die Burgruine Königstein zählt zu einer der größten Anlagen Deutschland und thront über der Stadt. Klar, dass Tobi dort vorbeischauen muss. Aber er ist nicht allein: Burgfräulein Sophia empfängt ihn und bringt ihn zu den Rittern von Königstein. Die Liebe der Vereinsmitglieder zu ihrem Hobby und ihrer Burg beeindruckt Tobi sehr. Er wird gleich mit aufgenommen und darf sich mit Pfeil und Bogen ausprobieren.
Wenn Tobias Kämmerers Herz etwas höher schlagen lässt, dann sind es Menschen, die noch Handwerk mit Tradition ausüben. Deswegen ist er auch sofort begeistert, als er in der Schmiede Scheller in Kronberg ankommt. Hier schwingt Schmied Matze den Hammer – und das in fünfter Generation! Tobi ist so angetan, dass er kurzzeitig über einen Berufswechsel nachdenkt. Aber erst muss er beweisen, ob er auch ein Händchen für Hammer und Amboss hat.
Die Ideen, welche Orte Tobi Kämmerer bei seinem Städtetrip unbedingt besuchen soll, kamen von den Einwohnern und Fans der Region selbst. Sie haben dem Moderator bei Facebook vor dem Dreh ihre Tipps gegeben. Gefilmt wurde mit einer besonders kompakten Kameratechnik, das Gerät ist kaum größer als ein Handy. Dadurch können Szenen gedreht werden, die mit größeren Kameras so nicht möglich sind, und Tobis Interviewgäste vergessen schnell, dass sie im Fernsehen sind. Entstanden ist eine 45-minütige, besondere Entdeckungsreise mit den besten Tipps für den eigenen Städtetrip nach Kronberg und Königstein.
Tobis Fazit: Kronberg und Königstein sind echte Perlen im Taunus. Hier gibt es viel Tradition, aber auch tolle Menschen mit neuen Ideen. Diese Städte sind definitiv einen Städtetrip wert!

BEST DAY TRIP FROM COPENHAGEN!!! Frederiksborg Castle, Kronborg Castle, & Louisiana Art Museum!
We took a day trip north of Copenhagen to visit two of Denmark's top castles and one of the best modern art museums in the world!
We started our day taking the train to Frederiksborg Slot which is also known as the Danish Versailles. This castle was magnificent! The stunning castle is now home to the Danish National History Museum. The audio tour was a must here to get to know the extensive history contained in the never ending rooms and passageways of this huge palace!
Our next stop was in the city of Helsingør. This picturesque town is home to the castle famously known as the setting of Shakespeare's Hamlet! The castle, Kronborg Slot, was full of family friendly exhibits that provided a quick overview of the castle and what life was like in the 17th century.
Our final stop of the day was at the lovely Louisiana Museum of Modern Art. This is widely considered to be one of the best modern art museums in the world and it did not disappoint. The museum was worth a stop even if just for the architecture and enjoyable grounds with their expansive views over the coastline. It is such a wonderful location to take in some of the latest artwork!
Our day was long but so worth it to see so many amazing site all just a few train rides from Copenhagen!
