A great half day trip outside of Bangkok is the Maeklong Railway Market, also know as Rom Hup Market. Let's take a trip together to Maeklong Railway Market (Rom Hup Market ).
It's an amazing place and is very famous for the unusual sight of the market built on the tracks. Tourists come from all around the world to see this unusual market.
You can get there many different ways but the cheapest and most authentic way is by taking the train. So I will show you how to get there by yourself from Bangkok. It leaves from Wongwian Yai Station and involves a ferry and switching trains.
Just outside of Bangkok Thailand is one of the world's most unique markets, the Maeklong Railway Market. (Rom Hup Market) its one of the largest produce and seafood markets in Thailand. But beyond the selection of fresh fruit and fish, the market has become infamous for one thing-the train that runs directly through it.
In 1905, the Maeklong Railway built a commuter train line through the center of the popular market. But rather than move, the vendors adapted to the new conditions, working around the train that passes through eight times a day, seven days a week.
Getting there is easy and fun. I show the whole trip and how to navigate it without having to do a tour.

Night Market - Nakhon Prathom Thailand 2022 - Street Food and More
One of the most important places for Buddhists in Thailand can be found in Nakhon Pathom, one of the oldest cities in Thailand.
The Phra Pathom chedi, which means “Holy chedi of the beginning” is regarded the oldest Buddhist structure in Thailand. The very impressive chedi (stupa) with its gold roof visible from far away is with its 120 meters height the largest Buddhist chedi in the world.
From November 5th through the 13th the Chedi hosts a huge night market to celebrate 107 years of the standing Buddha next to the Chedi. Vendors offer everything you could possibly want. If you are a Thai food lover this is a place you would want to visit.

Wat San Phanthai Norasing It is a royal temple under the Maha Nikaya Sangha. Located next to Phanthai Norasing Shrine in Phanthai Norasing Subdistrict Mueang Samut Sakhon District Samut Sakhon Province With a total area of approximately 15 rai, Wat San Phanthai Norasing was established in 1989. The builder of the temple was Phrakhru Ladchalaw Wimlo, the abbot of Wat Tha Sung Uthai Thani Province originally named Wat Phanthai Norasing change the name to Wat San Phanthai Norasing in order not to be duplicated with other temples The National Buddhism Office agreed to change the name of the temple on December 29, 2009[2] received Wisung Kham Sima on March 25, 2011.
Inside the temple, there is an ubosot Phra Brahmayan enshrined the principal Buddha image. Somdej Phra Buddha and there are many statues of famous guru monks, such as Luang Por Pan, Reverend Father Rishi Ling Dam, etc. There is a pavilion for religious ceremonies such as offerings to monks. At San Phanthai Norasing Temple, there are many nuns who come to hold the precepts.[3] There are many monks. Chulamanee Pagoda Like at Wat Tha Sung On the second floor, there is a Phra Wisutthep decorated with mirrors, all sitting on a pedestal.
