This is one of some videos shot during a road trip I made on summer of 2007 in Tanzania.
The tribe belongs to the GOGO's ethnicity. This dance was an unscheduled one: we were greeted for having brought the water (MADJI in Kishwahili) to the village, by installing windmills and well-pumps.
Tanzanian Chagga Dancers
These dancers are from the Chagga tribe in the Arusha district of Tanzania. They performed these traditional dances for us in May of 2009, and I compiled the footage that I took in December of 2009.
