1/7 Tourism in Russia Visit Moscow Kolomenskoye park
Mai 2015 : Situé à 10 km au sud du centre de Moscou, on peut voir dans ce magnifique et vaste domaine naturel très fréquenté par les russes plusieurs églises orthodoxes d'une sobriété et d'une élégance exceptionnelle. Certaines d'entre-elles ont été construites à la fin du XVII ème siècle dans le style traditionnel russe mêlé d'éléments rococo. La plus étonnante d'entre elle est l'église de l'Ascension construite en 1530, avec ses trois grands escaliers couverts permettant d'y accéder, et au sommet de l'édifice, une sorte de mirador uniquement accessible par l'extérieur grâce à une chaine comportant des étriers. La maisonette en bois du tsar Pierre le Grand (1672-1725) a été amené dArkhangelsk, comme certaines des autres constructions en bois qui sont visibles sur place. Aujourd'hui son aménagement est complété par des pièces de musée.
Dans le ravin qui sépare la colline Kolomenskoye de celle de Diakovo, la tradition veut que saint Georges, le saint patron de Moscou, ait tué le dragon près des énormes rochers.

Kolomenskoye (Russian: Коло́менское) is a former royal estate situated several kilometers to the southeast of the city center of Moscow, Russia, on the ancient road leading to the town of Kolomna (hence the name). The 390 hectare scenic area overlooks the steep banks of the Moskva River. It became a part of Moscow in the 1960s.

The Garden Ring district has bars, nightclubs and museums like the Pushkin State Museum, with many Impressionist works, and the State Tretyakov Gallery, specializing in Russian art. Nearby are the Bolshoi Theatre, known for ballet and opera, and Tretyakovsky Proyezd, a street lined with luxury shops. To the north, the Ostankino TV Tower offers panoramic views. Wintertime brings ice-skating to Gorky Park, plus the Russian Winter Festival, featuring music and dance. South of the city center is the open-air architecture museum Kolomenskoye, showcasing a wide range of building types.
