Campbelltown Montacute - Adelaide South Australia
Montacute Conservation Park's 200 hectares of remnant bushland is separated by several small creeks, and is home to an abundant array of birdlife.
Vegetation in the park varies greatly from the lower to higher slopes. The creek line is dominated by river red gums with a low understory of grasses and exotic plants. The higher slopes support stringybarks and blue gums.
The Heysen walking trail winds its way through the park's native vegetation to the higher slopes and offers excellent views of the surrounding area.
Along the walking trails you may discover outcrops of Precambrian dolomite rocks more than 570 million years old, or on the eastern side of the park, an outcrop of Stonyfell quartzite.

Hahndorf is a popular tourist destination due to the area's significant German population and their influence on the town's unique architecture. Adelaide O-Bahn Guided Busway Journey
To service Adelaide's eastern suburbs (which do not have a train line), a very unique form of transportation was implemented. Opening in 1986, the Adelaide O-Bahn guided busway provide buses with an express concrete 'track' directly from the CBD to Tea Tree Plaza via two intermediate stations at Klemzig and Paradise. Buses using the busway have special guide wheels on the side to enable them to seamlessly traverse bends in the track as it follows the River Torrens. They reach speeds of 90 km/h on the track, although it used to be 100 in the past. A more recently completed part of the O-Bahn opened in 2017 with a new bus tunnel linking directly from Grenfell Street in the city to Hackney Road, where bus lanes lead them to the original start of the busway.
In this video we simply take a ride from the city to the terminus of the busway at Tea Tree Plaza interchange at the back of an articulated bus, and then back to the city from the front, both in real-time.
