Kiuruvesi is a city in Finland, located in the northwestern part of the North Savo province. Kiuruvesi resigned from Iisalmi church and administrator in 1862. The municipality of Kiuruvesi was founded in 1873. Kiuruvesi became a city in the beginning of 1993. Border neighbors are Iisalmi, Pielavesi, Pyhäjärvi, Pyhäntä and Vieremä.

The summer of 2021 in Porvoo was memorably warm. In Porvoo, in fact, a kind of record of hot days was set in Finland. In July alone, heat readings were measured in Finland for a total of 24 days, which is eight days above the July average. Of the observation stations, the highest number of hot days was in Harabacka, Porvoo, a total of 23. The city was full of tourists, but due to the corona, the tourists were of domestic origin - foreign tourists were hardly visible in the street scene.
