In this video, we explore the town of Kingscliff, in northern NSW, on the Tweed Coast. When international guests hear Australia they think Sydney. When Australians hear NSW they think Sydney, but when Queenslanders hear NSW they think Kingscliff, Casuarina, Cabarita, Pottsville, or even Mt Warning.
This town is stunning, it has had several lives and the food has always been something that keeps people coming back. We take Millie out for her dinner, this started with a bit of disappointment but in the end, she enjoyed herself. The end of our weekend was a great breakfast from a local cafe known as Kettles On!

Hi, we're Beth & Paul from Brisbane, Australia and we love to travel!
Paul retired on 28th February 2020 and on the 1st March 2020, we set out on a 6-month adventure around South East Asia. This was a well-planned once-in-a-lifetime travel experience! It was our intention to show you how you can have a great time travelling without spending a fortune.

We explore northern New South Wales, Australia, in this vlog and road trip along the beautiful Tweed Coast. We cross the border from QLD and visit Fingal Head, before moving on to Kingscliff for breakfast. Afterwards, we visit Cabarita Beach & its headland before ending our day at Hastings Point.

Welcome to Travel Adventures Australia. What! Dogs are Prohibited?
The northern New South Wales Beaches between Kingscliff and Hastings Point are stunning! Surf, sun and sand. Kingscliff, Cabarita and Hastings Point are quintessential North Coast NSW beach holiday destinations. However, if you are travelling with your dog you may find the area very limiting. We were so lucky to find two beautiful spots at Kingscliff. The majority of the popular coastal areas are very busy and it was not even school holidays. These areas, dogs are prohibited which is a shame.
If you are travelling without a pet, this area could be the perfect get away. According to New South Wales Tourism, Just south of the Queensland border, Kingscliff is a sleepy village on the Tweed Coast. The Tweed has a string of blissful beaches, from Fingal Head near the mouth of the Tweed River all the way south to Cabarita Beach, known for its reliably good waves. Hastings Point Beach, is known for is tranquillity. They suggest to head to Hastings Point for a promising a retreat from the hubbub of life and a holiday reminiscent of simpler times. Back from the beach, a network of creeks and estuaries guarantee endless water play and moments of calm and you can cue all the anticipated coastal holiday highlights of fishing, low-tide rock pools, river kayaking, crisp fish and chips, laid-back caravan parks, barbecues and most other things sure to be on your relaxed getaway checklist.

Join me to watch a few races at the Australian Surf Lifesaving Competition 2023 down on Cudgen beach at Kingscliff Beach, Tweed Coast of New South Wales.
The beach is a hive of very athletic activity with races happening between Surf Lifesaving Clubs from all over Australia.
If my ears are hearing correctly, the winning teams are Kurruwa Surf Club, Broadbeach Surf Lifesaving Club and Terrigal Surf Lifesaving Club. A big congratulations to the winners of this race and all events that happened over the 2 days of July 22nd and July 23rd 2023.

Kingscliff located on the far north coast of NSW is a beautiful holiday destination. The beach front is currently under going a major renovation which will see the old caravan park converted to community space.
It the beach is not your scene head to nearby Cudgen creek and swim in the crystal clear waters. If you lucky you might be joined by a pod of local dolphins
Then after a day at the beach, there are plenty of venues offering a variety of meal options too feed a healthy appetite
