Morogoro | Tanzania | 4K Cinematic Drone Footage
Morogoro is a town in eastern central Tanzania. It is located about 200km west from the biggest city of the country, Dar Es Salaam and about 300km east from the capital city of Dodoma. With the completion of the new railway connecting Dodoma to Dar with a 150km/h fast electric train, the town of Morogoro will probably gain more popularity in the next years, as the train will pass through it. In the Video you can see the old rails of the Tanzanian Central Line. They were build over a hundred years ago by Germans and there are still in use. But the old Diesel powered trains will not go faster than 50km/h. So be aware of a long trip until the new railway is completed.

Tanzania SGR Electric EMU's and Double Deck Trains a Taste Of Germany and Korean Technology
Tanzania sgr receiveved some of its newly builts electric train and locomotives from south korea and germany. Tanzania sgr electric locomotives are manufactured by hyundai rotem train manufactures of south korea. 6 train wagons have been received on june 6th 2023.
The SGR will link Tanzania, from the port of Dar es Salaam on the Indian Ocean to the port of Mwanza on the shore of Lake Victoria in northern Tanzania, and from there to neighboring countries of Rwanda, Burundi, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). The SGR consists of a network of about 2,000 km developed in six phases: Phase 1: Dar es Salaam -Morogoro (Km 300) Phase 2: Morogoro-Makutupora (Km 422) Phase 3: Makutupora-Tabora (Km 294) Phase 4: Tabora-Isaka (Km 130) Phase 5: Isaka-Mwanza (Km 249) Phase 6: Tabora-Kigoma (Km 506

Impressions from my visit of Tanzania in 2019. I've spent the days in Arusha and Moshi. Tengeru Cultural Tourism arranged amazing experiences to learn more about the culture, region, traditions and wildlife. From the Coffee Tour over a bike ride through the Arusha National Park, Canoeing on the amazing Lake Duluti and the visit of the Ngorongoro Creater, every day offered something new. The other half I've spent with Amani Children, an organization located in Tanzania that is helping to get kids off the street and giving them shelter, food and education with the ultimate goal to reunite them with their families.

Nasze wakacje na Zanzibarze czekają zmiany. Przeprowadzamy się z miejscowości Kendwa do Nungwi. Nie jest to może daleko, ale wioska i plaża wygląda zupełnie inaczej. W okresie w jakim byliśmy na Zanzibarze w Nungwi działo się zdecydowanie więcej.
W tym odcinku pokażemy Wam plażę oraz miejsce gdzie remontują łódki. Pójdziemy do lokalnego zoo, gdzie pierwszy raz w życiu będziemy tak blisko niektórych zwierząt i to nie przez kraty jak to ma miejsce w zoo w Europie. Na Zanzibarze mogliśmy spacerować wśród wielkich strusi, wejść do klatki z pytonem, który się nawet rzucił na Natalię, bo kręciliśmy się już zbyt blisko niego i jak powiedział przewodnik - to było ostrzeżenie.
Pokażemy wam też jak wygląda lokalne życie i lokalni ludzie w Nungwi na Zanzibarze, oraz ich lokalny street food. Ceny jedzenia w takich ich lokalnych miejscach są naprawdę niskie. Ile kosztuje lokalne jedzenie na Zanzibarze dowiecie się już w tym odcinku, a więcej na ten temat w kolejnych nadchodzących odcinkach.
W odcinku będzie także pokazany hotel Amaan Beach Bungalows, oraz piękny taras z widokiem na ocean, gdzie codziennie jemy śniadania.
Podczas wakacj w Nungwi poznamy też wiele wspaniałych osób, które przedstawimy Wam również w nadchodzących odcinkach z Zanzibaru.
W tym odcinku z wakacji na Zanzibarze pojawią się także zachody słońca w Nungwi. Mieliśmy okazję obserwować piękne zachody słońca w Kendwa, teraz czas na Nungwi...

Masai Boy from MBWADE which is just outside Kimamba, Kilosa, Morogoro, Tanzania. Shamba la mkonge wa Marehemu Bwana Tassos Vassardanis.
He brings me milk which is clean and creamy; very day if I want it. It is delicious with tea or coffee. I also put it in uji and drink it neat from the fridge. Of course after I have boiled it myself properly.

Mikumi National Park
The landscape of Mikumi is often compared to that of the Serengeti. The road that crosses the park divides it into two areas with partially distinct environments. The area north-west is characterized by the alluvial plain of the river basin Mkata. The vegetation of this area consists of savannah dotted with acacia, baobab, tamarinds, and some rare palm. In this area, at the furthest from the road, there are spectacular rock formations of the mountains Rubeho and Uluguru. The southeast part of the park is less rich in wildlife, and not very accessible.

The Arc Hotel opened in August 2009. It is a modern international level hotel, located at the outskirts of the city of Morogoro, approximately 200 km west of Dar es Salaam.
Arc Hotel offers comfortable double or single occupancy rooms with view towards the Uluguru Mountains.
The hotel restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes and indoor as well as open air services for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Tourism resources in the neighbourhood include:
1) The Uluguru Mountains, located within walking distance from Morogoro, remains basically untouched by tourism. During more than three centuries these mountains have been home to the Luguru ethnic group (Luguru = people of the mountain). The Luguru people counts several thousand inhabiting the lower slopes of the mountains. They are skilful farmers who exploit the steep mountain slopes to grow staples like rice,maize and vegetables.
The Luguru society remains strongly matrilineal. Land is the property of women, passing from mother to daughter, in contrast to other ethnic groups in Tanzania where men own the land. Not surprisingly, baby girls are preferred to baby boys in the Luguru society.
2) The Mikumi National Park some 70 kms further south which covers 3200 sq.kms, is the home to an abundance of wildlife.
3) Udzungwa Narional Park lies nearby.
4) To the south and east of Mikumi lies the Selous which is the largest game reserve in Africa and is second only to the Serengeti in its concentration of game, most notably elephants, buffalo and rhinoceros.
5) Ruaha National Park is the second largest national park in Tanzania. It is located in the middle of Tanzania about 400 km west of Morogoro.
6) The Wami-Mbiki river wildlife management area is also an important tourist resource in the Morogoro area. This vast wilderness area of 4000 sq.kms is situated only 50 kms due north-east of Morogoro.
