Government House in Sydney is the official residence of the Governor of New South Wales. It is located in the Royal Botanic Garden, near the Sydney Opera House and Circular Quay.
The current Government House, known as the Gothic Revival Government House, was completed in 1845. It replaced an earlier Government House that was built in the early 19th century.
Government House serves as the official residence of the Governor of New South Wales, who is the representative of the Australian monarch. The Governor-General carries out various constitutional and ceremonial functions at the state level.

Beautiful Australian bush walk with 4k drone footage - Flat Rock Gully, Sydney
This bush walk is in Northbridge, a highly recommended suburb when exploring Sydney, Australia. The Flat Rock Gully walk is part bushwalk and part coastal walk. The track is slippery when wet and has some steep sections and creek crossings. Flat Rock Gully walking track takes you under the historic Long Gully Bridge which opened in January 1892 and was rebuilt in 1939. Tunks Park has an off-leash dog section and adjoins the Tunks Park Boat Ramp, officially part of Middle Harbour, Sydney Australia.

*Cowes, Phillip Island, History & Scenery.*
This is the fourth and final episode on the history and scenery of Phillip Island’s four original post-settlement towns. The other towns being Newhaven, Rhyll & Ventnor.
Cowes has always been the largest and most vibrant of the four townships; being a traditional entry point before the mainland bridge was constructed in 1940.
It was an idyllic seaside retreat for the people of Melbourne. The ferry trip from the Mornington Peninsula added an element of anticipation and excitement to any holiday.
Many guest houses sprang up around the township. They offered guests a varied level of luxury, entertainment and activities plus a personal interaction with other guests who shared similar interests and intent.
Many life-long romances were spawned from guest house stays at Cowes.
Ferries and excursion boats still operate but the cosy guest houses have made way to more lavish, but somewhat less engaging resorts.
I hope you enjoy this brief tour highlighting the transformation of Cowes then, to Cowes now.
