Kibale National Park Vlog
Hello Awesome people,
The chimp groups you can track in Uganda have been habituated. This means that the presence of long term research teams has made them less shy of humans and easier to view, without compromising or interfering with their natural behaviour.
On your trek, you may reach the chimps in minutes or it may take hours or walking. Once you reach them, you’ll need to be on your best behaviour, staying at least 8m away from the chimps, and remaining with them for a maximum of one hour. This protects both you and them from disease transmission, and also prevents the animals from feeling stressed. Be aware that if you are unwell, with a cold or upset stomach for instance, you won’t be allowed to trek. You cannot eat anywhere near the chimps, and you should watch them quietly and respectfully – no shouting or pointing. Flash photography is forbidden, and remember to put your camera down for some of the experience so you can take it all in.
It cost me shs 100,000 for this activity but beware that the prices vary depending on the season & nationality

Uganda has a wide variety of tourist attractions that cater to different interests. Here are some of the best tourist attractions in Uganda:
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park: This national park is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is home to half of the world's population of mountain gorillas. Visitors can go on gorilla tracking tours to see these magnificent animals up close.

THE 5 TOURIST PLACES TO VISIT IN UGANDA
Uganda's Tourism Potential is enormous. In this video I talk about the 5 Tourist Attraction in Uganda that really stand out. I could not mention all of the attractions in Uganda because definitely they would exceed 5.
Among the 5 Tourist Attractions I would recommend is;
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for gorilla tracking. Gorilla tracking is the highlight of Uganda's Tourism. Gorilla tracking gives a unique experience.

Secondly, as a Tourist in Uganda, Kibale Forest National Park is a must go for Chimpanzee tracking. Going for Chimpanzee tracking gives tourists the opportunity of viewing these beautiful primates in their natural habitat. There is also the Chimpanzee habituation experience where the tourists accompany researchers and habituators into the forest.
Murchison Falls National Park is another place to go. At Murchison Falls the Nile river squeezes through an 8m wide gorge and plunges with a thunderous roar creating a trade mark rainbow. It is Uganda's largest and oldest conservation area hosting 76 species of mammals and 451 birds.
Kidepo Valley National Park located in the rugged semi arid valleys between Uganda's borders with Sudan and Kenya about 700km from Kampala. It has a profusion of big game and hosts of 77 mammal species as well as around 475 bird species.
Lastly but not least is Jinja which is referred to as the Adventure Capital of Uganda. Jinja boast of spectacular physical features like The Source of River Nile which is one of the longest rivers in the world. River Nile starts from Jinja all through Northern Uganda, Sudan, Egypt to the Mediterranean Sea. Among the adventure activities in Jinja is White Water Rafting, Tubing, Bungee Jumping, Quad biking along the banks of River Nile with trails going through the surrounding villages, Horse Riding.

Visited every national park in Uganda.
My country has ten National Parks and they include Queen Elizabeth, Lake Mburo, Murchison Falls, Kidepo Valley, Kibale, Mount Elgon, Rwenzori Mountains, Semuliki, Mgahinga Gorilla, and Bwindi Impenetrable National Parks. These parks display the best in East Africa. Their Rift Valley landscapes and tropical forests make dramatic backdrops to an extensive variety of flora and fauna.
Two years ago, I set off and began my journey to visit them all. It hasn’t been an easy journey but it was worth it. Here is what it’s been like!
