PROMETHEUS CAVE & MARTVILI CANYON - EXPLORE GEORGIA with SHUBHASHISH
DAY TOUR From Tbilisi to PROMETHEUS CAVE and MARTVILI CANYON is easily possible if you start from Tbilisi in early morning by car and if you a expert driving ability in day and night because night will fall at the time of returning or expert and responsible driver with you.

From Prometheus Cave to Martvili Canyon is only 47.8 km via Tsqaltubo - Khoni - Matkhoji - Martvili and it takes around one hour drive.
To explore this both two places you need minimum one and half hours each.
Martvili Canyon is giving you a water sport experience by boating which is really enjoyable, must try it.

Prometheus Cave also known as Kumistavi Cave and Tsqaltubo Cave is a karst cave located in Imereti region of Georgia near Kutaisi city. The total length of the cave is about 11 km, of which 1060 m are open to visitors. The cave has a total of 22 halls, six of which are currently open to tourists.
A pedestrian route was laid in the cave for about 1 kilometer, stairs and paths were built, and a 150-meter tunnel was punched out at the exit and the construction of ground-floor buildings began. The cave was equipped with temporary lighting.
In 1990, due to the collapse of Soviet Union and a lack of funds, the project was closed. For several years a local citizen protected the cave from vandals, as memorialized by a statue of him and his dog at the cave's entrance.

Martvili Canyon also known as Abasha Canyon and Gachedili Canyon is an Abasha river erosion canyon located in Samegrelo region of Western Georgia near Gachedili village. The water in the Abasha river has deep green color in the canyon.
Gachedili or Martvili Canyon is 2,400 metres (1.5 mi) long, 5 to 7 metres (16 to 23 ft) wide and 50 to 70 metres (160 to 230 ft) deep. In the center of the canyon, waterfalls with 12 to 15 metres (39 to 49 ft) high drops exist.

Georgia - Okatse Canyon Tour From Kutaisi
Okatse Canyon is a natural monument in Georgia, located in the village of Gordi of Khoni municipality, in the vicinity of the river Okatse.
The canyon has a 780 meters length hanging trail that is 3 to 6 meters wide and 20 to 100 meters deep. It feels as if you are walking directly in the sky.

Muristikhe fortress on top of mountain in Lechkhumi above Tsageri, Sakartvelo (republic of Georgia)
The #fortress #Muristsikhe can be found in town #Tsageri. In ancient times, it was an impregnable #stronghold located on a steep cliff. When you #travel to #Lechkhumi first thing you see is #mountain road jumping around cliffs with #Tskhenistskali (horse water) #river flowing along. Tsageri is the biggest town in #Lechkxumi but it has no tall buildings. Everything is cozy and comfortable. If you plan to see #mountains in #Georgia, here you have plenty.

Okatse (Kinchkha) Waterfall is located in Khoni municipality of Imereti region, close to the village Kinchkha. It is three-step waterfall cascade in the river gorge of Satsikvilo. Flows from Eastern part of massive chalk stone slopes. Waterfall is distinguished by its geomorphologic construction. From the upper steps, the water falls from 25m and from 70m heights into the flatland, where huge siphons are formed. After joining the small rivers, descents a third, 20 meters -high waterfall.
It is possible to visit waterfall by marked trails, beside the fact that on the territory infrastructure was not arranged, it was discovered by many visitors and was in the favourite travel destination list. Make your trip more adventurous and do not postpone to visit this amazing place.

Abudelauri Lakes - Juta, Georgia [4K]
Today I want to tell you about one of the Must See place in Georgia.
This place's called Abudelauri Lakes, which is located on the base of Mount Chaukhi. The lakes are called colorful as each one of them has a specific color: Blue, Green, White.
There is a famous hiking trek, which starts in Juta, passing beautiful Chaukhi massif through approximately 3500 meters high Chaukhi pass. On your way you also see these beautiful lakes and the trek ends in Roshka village on the other side of the mountains
The best time to visit the lakes or have this trek is summertime, especially July, when the flowers are blooming nearby the lakes. We've been there in the end of summer and lakes became smaller by this time and there were not flowers, so I highly recommend you to visit this place in July, but anyway it is still wonderful in August or September and worth visiting!

#Traveling from #Kutaisi to #Tsageri you can see beautiful waterfall called #Rachkha. Rchkha is a waterfall that took it's place after river which flows from #mountain. It is one of pleasant #sights #Lechkhumi can offer. It is common to have a stop here and make pictures. On the other side down the road there will be mountain #Khvamli (see link above).
This place is also known for it's unique winery condition. It is here that unique #Usakhelauri grape breed blossom. #Usakhelauri wine made from grapes that grow only in this location has special healing abilities. It is also very concentrated so it is not advised to drink more than 100-200ml at once. #Sakartvelo (republic of #Georgia).

Kutaisi is located in the Imereti region on the banks of the river Rioni. Kutaisi is the administrative center of Imereti Region. It is one of the oldest cities in Georgia and fifth among the oldest cities in Europe. The city has been inhabited since ancient times. Documentary history of Kutaisi dates back to the III century BC, though ancient authors considered it the capital of the kingdom of Colchis (VIII BC). The old names of the city are: Aia, Kutaia, Kutatisiumi. On the right bank of the river Rioni, there are traces of extensive settlement. In the V century, Kutaisi was the capital of Egrisi. By the end of the VIII century it was already the capital of Egrisi and United Kingdom of Abkhazia. In the X century, Kutaisi became the capital of the newly united Georgia. Here David the Builder was blessed. David the Builder built the Gelati Cathedral near Kutaisi, which became one of the most important educational centers of Georgia. Kutaisi has maintained the status of a united Georgian capital for 124 years. In 1122 David the Builder moved the royal throne in Tbilisi, however, Kutaisi remained an important city in the cultural and historical significance. Nowadays, Kutaisi is the second city of Georgia with its developed infrastructure and culture.
