Kasba Tadla
Kasba Tadla (or Qasbat Tadlah) is a medium sized town, at an altitude of about 725 meters, on the western edge of the Middle Atlas in the region of ‘Tadla-Azilal’. The city was built along an ancient trade route and lies next to the ‘Oum er-Rbia’ river (which is the longest year-round water flow true Morocco). In the 10th and 11th centuries, the ‘Tadla’ region was controlled by the Berber tribe of ‘Banu Ifran’.
For centuries, this region was a battleground between different tribes, brotherhoods, and dynasties. In the 17th century, ‘Moulay Ismail’ ordered to the construct a stone bridge over the ‘Oum er-Rbia’ river. In 1687, Kasba Tadla was built under the Alawites Sultan ‘Moulay Ismail Kasbah’. The fortress stands on a hill about 100 meters from the river bank, and contains walls which were made of rammed earth and covered with a smooth lime plaster. The medina also contains two old mosques form the 17th century, of which the minarets are still preserved in the 18th century. One of the minaret, on a square base, is uniformly decorated with a delicate brick diamond pattern. The other preserved brick minaret is recognizable by its unusual wooden poles.
During the 18th and 19th centuries it was several times to ward off the attacks of Berber tribes. At the end of the 19th century, Kasba Tadla was consisted of little more than the dilapidated walls of the fortress. During the French Protectorate (1912-1956), the town was revived and expanded to a larger military camp. The ruins of the old Kasbah, are preserved between old and new town on the river ‘Oum er-Rbia’. In 2010, the outer walls of the Kasbah were artificially restored with earth brown coloured cement plaster.
The city is now a transport hub and along with Beni Mellal, one of the two ancient capitals of fertile ‘Tadla- level’. From the river derived irrigation canals, the Tadla- level is a fertile farmland since the 1930s. In the vicinity of the city especially grain is grown.

The Bin el Ouidane Dam is an arch dam located 28 kilometres south of Beni Mellal on the El Abid River in Azilal Province, Morocco. Designed by Coyne et Bellier and constructed between 1949 and 1953, the purpose of the dam is hydroelectric power production and irrigation.
Lake Bin el Ouidane is home to some of the largest Carp in the world with a current fully scaled mirror lake record of a 69lbs (33.4 kg). The Carps are still young, stocked in 1994 from a fast growing strain of Hungarian linear mirror. The lake also holds an impressive head of Black Bass, Pike, Zander, Roach and Tench.

The Kasba Zidania is described as the Umayyad Kasbah, after the tribes of Bani Umair, and the great city. It was built before the Kasbah of Belkush, as historians unanimously agree that the Amiri field was devoid of any population gathering before the construction of the Kasba Zidania, which became controlling the southern half of Morocco, after Ahmed al-Mansur distributed a group of regions to his sons, and delegated to them all the powers and authorities that he had Enjoy it. The Kasbah was built on the road axis north-south and south-north within the framework of the responsibility of the Saadian state, which made one of its top priorities the mission of road security. The role of the Kasba Zidania remained important even in the Alaouite era, after the construction of the Tadla Kasbah (Kasba Tadla) by Sultan Mawla Ismail. Where the Alaouite sultan appointed Moulay Hassan I as Secretary in charge of the Zaidani Kasbah, who is Muhammad Al-Hassan Al-Harda Al-Sousi.
The Kasba Zidania has an important political, security, cultural and economic role over time. It has always remained in the minds of the Omairis and the people of the Tadli region as the center for everything. The Kasbah was also considered by the French as among the things that must be colonized first as a symbol of power and the clinging of the Bani Amir tribes. In the upper throne, as it was one of the first places occupied by the French after the occupation of the region in 1913 AD.
Despite its ancient history, the Kasba Zidania, the capital of Bani Omair and the seat of the Sultan's caliph, has become ruins that do not express its great history.

Infos Tourisme Maroc : La kasbah de boulaouane - EL Jadida | Morocco
La kasbah se situe à environ 75 km au sud-est de la ville d’El Jadida. Elle fut construite sur une falaise rocheuse dominat la plaine de Doukkala sur la rive gauche de l’Oued Oum Rbia.
La kasbah présente un plan quadrilatère irrégulier. Sa muraille est renforcée dans le côté sud par cinq tours dont celle du milieu est percée d’une porte monumentale en pierre taillée, disposée en chicane. Des tours d’angle sont dressées dans le côté nord. Le rempart ouest dispose d’une tour semi-circulaire et celui du côté d’une tour rectangulaire. Des constructions plus basses s’appuient contre cette dernière et abritent une poterne qui conduit par un couloir coudé conduisant vers l’oued.
L’intérieur de la kasbah renferme un ensemble résidentiel « Dar Sultan » comprenant une tour, des latrines, un hammam et des chambres somptueuses comme en témoignent les restes de mosaïque de céramique, de stucs sculptés et les fragments de colonnes. Outre cet ensemble la kasbah offre des magasins, des écuries ainsi qu’une mosquée et une citerne. À l’est, un passage, en direction du fleuve, évolue le long de deux murs latéraux constituant un long couloir aboutissant à une salle polygonale et des bassins qui auraient servis d’abreuvoirs.

Al Hoceima, perle de la Méditérannée: Un coeur qui bat au Nord West
Située dans le Rif, chaîne montagneuse du Maroc oriental, Al Hoceima (ou biya comme les locaux ont tendance à la nommer) est une ville rifaine située sur la côte nord-est du Maroc (mer Méditerranée). À 350km à l'Est de Tanger et à 170km de la frontière algérienne, cette petite ville compte environ 700 000 habitants.
La ville a connu un débarquement espagnol en 1925, lors de la guerre du Rif. Avec son accées direct sur le littoral méditerranéen et entourée de reliefs montagneux, cette ville fait partie du Rif (nord du Maroc) et est considérée comme la capitale de cette région. Appelée autrefois Al Khozama
(nom d'une plante de la région), Taghzout ou Villa Sanjurjo, la ville est nommée Al Hoceima lors de l'indépendance du Maroc.
Avec un climat de type méditerranéen (l'été est sec et chaud, les hivers pluvieux et frais), elle a été la première ville au Maroc à avoir lancé un village Club Méditerranée en 1963, ouvrant la voie aux villages clubs d'Agadir et Marrakech. Orientée vers la pêche et le tourisme, Al Hoceima est une des plus grandes stations balnéaires du Maroc et d'Afrique du Nord. La venue massive pendant l'été de ressortissants et touristes intérieurs est favorisée par la multitude des plages dans la région : Quemado (complexe), Tala Youssef, Chafarina (complexe), Cala Iris à 60 Km du centre ville, Souani, Sfiha, Cala Bonita et la mer sauvage « Boussekour ».La baie d'Al Hoceima compte également de nombreuses îles, comme les minuscules îles de Sabaadiya et surtout de très nombreux petits îlots rocheux. L'île Peñón de Alhucemas a la particularité d'être sous souveraineté espagnole.
Al Hoceima : Culture et symbole
La langue parlée à Al Hoceima est le rifain (tarifit), de la famille des langues berbères. La langue arabe dans sa déclinaison marocaine n'est que très peu parlée à Al Hoceima, uniquement dans les administrations publiques et l'enseignement. Comme les dialectes amazigh et tachelhit parlés dans d'autres régions du Maroc ou le kabyle en Algérie, le rifain resté longtemps de tradition et transmission orale renaît aujourd'hui sous sa forme écrite grâce à l'alphabet amazigh, le tifinaghe.
Al hoceima:au coeur du changement
Les revenus de la ville se basent sur le tourisme et la pêche. Il est à noter que la ville a connu un progrès remarquable au niveau de l'infrastructure et des projets, ceci est du à la grande importance que Sa Majesté le Roi Mohamed 6 a accordé à cette petite ville. Les grands chantiers de la rocade Méditerranée ont permis depuis 2007, un désenclavement de la ville d'Al Hoceima, vus qu'alors desservie par une route dangereuse. Troisième port du Maroc pour le traitement du trafic passager, le port d'Al Hoceima dispose d'une Gare Maritime à infrastructure moderne, inaugurée par SM le Roi Mohammed 6 en 2007.
Al Hoceima possède un aéroport international, l'aéroport Al Hoceima -- Cherif Al Idrissi. Celui-ci ne dessert que très peu de lignes régulières avec l'Europe. Les liaisons directes les plus fréquentées sont celles de Bruxelles et Amsterdam, compte tenu des nombreux ressortissants rifains vivant en Belgique et aux Pays-Bas.
