Devakar Falls also called Vajra Falls or Devamala Falls is a water falls located in Uttara Kannada District, Karnataka, India and it is visible from Devakar village. There are no well developed road to reach the water falls and during rainy season it is not possible to reach. The height of water falls is about 200 meters and after falling the water reaches Kaiga reservoir. During October there will be more water in the water falls when compared to water volume during February.

Kanoor Kote | Hidden deep in the Jungle
Kanoor Kote is located in the midst of Sharavathi reserved forest. Reaching this place for strangers would be tough as many locals on the way predict the kilometers but don't know the exact distance to Kanoor Kote. Kanoor Kote was built by Rani Keladi Chenamma who ruled Keladi province after her husband's death. Keladi chenamma's name is considered as one of the brave women of Karnataka and of its history. Kanoor Kote says every word of history which was lived there even today and to reach here is one major task for any tourist and it will make you still wonder how did they travel in such route when there was no transport at all. The fort is located in the deep jungle which is a Reserved forest for wild animals. One can hear a lot of animals making noise while trekking towards the fort. It is advisable to trek to the fort in a group rather than alone or few.
