This is quite obvious because my features on Ipoh, Penang, Seremban, Teluk Intan etc. enjoyed encouraging viewership. On the other hand my viewership on night markets and bazaars were appalling. Basically I still can’t I anticipate which type of videos can inspire you. Hopefully you’ll find this episode compelling as much as I worked on it. Gopeng and Kampar was the tin exporter of the world making many immigrant fabulously rich.
In 1979, Malaysia produced almost 63,000 tons of tin, accounting for 31% of world's output. Tin deposit spreads across western Peninsular Malaysia, particularly the Kinta Valley in Perak. In 1883, Malaysia was the largest tin producer in the world. In 1885, 12.8 km of railway was constructed connecting Taiping to Port Weld in Perak. The first trunk road in Peninsular Malaysia was constructed passing through major mining towns in Perak, Selangor and Negeri Sembilan in which it was mostly used to transport tin from mines to ports. In the 1920s, dredging machines were introduced to boost the production of tin. Starting from the 1980s, tin mining in Malaysia experienced sharp decline due to competition from Brazil and the falling of tin price. In 1989, the Malaysian Tin Products Manufacturers' Association was established to promote and protect the downstream business of tin industry in the country.

Join us for a day of window shopping at Kampar’s famous secondhand market, an abbreviated tour of Chop Chi Seng slaughterhouse, and a lovely meal enjoying the aforementioned Claypot Chicken.

Refarm ialah 26 ekar ladang rekreasi, bertempat di Kampar, Perak. Kira-kira 4 kilometer dari bandar Kampar, terletak di sebelah kiri jalan menghala ke arah Temoh & Pekan Tapah.
Refarm dikelilingi oleh bukit-bukau dan hutan. Air terjun dalam hutan adalah sumber yang berharga buat kami. Sepanjang 1.2 kilometer sistem paip air yang dipasang dari hulu air terjun untuk membekalkan air yang paling bersih kepada tanaman dan haiwan ternakan termasuk ayam, ikan dan kambing.
Di Refarm, kami menghasilkan baja organik. Dimana kami mengitar semula najis haiwan, sisa-sisa tumbuh-tumbuhan, ditukarkan menjadi baja melalui proses penapaian. Baja organik adalah baja yang terbaik dan paling mesra alam yang mencukupi untuk tanam – tanaman berkembang dengan subur, tampak lebih indah kerana ia membekalkan zat-zat penting yang menggalakkan kesuburan tumbuhan.
Refarm tidak akan membuang sayur-sayuran dan buah-buahan yang berkualiti rendah. Sebaliknya, ia akan dijadikan sebagai makanan haiwan ternakan. Ini adalah konsep Refarm – Kitar Semula dan tiada pembaziran.
Refarm merupakan sebuah tempat riadah tarikan pelancongan yang mempunyai pelbagai kemudahan dan aktiviti yang disediakan untuk kawan-kawan dan keluarga untuk mencipta kenangan yang indah bersama dan sukar untuk dilupakan. Anda boleh melawat kami sebagai penjalanan sehari, mangajurkan acara atau menginap di Refarm.
“Ladang-ke-Meja” ialah konsep Refarm untuk menhidangkan lauk-pauk yang lazat dan sihat dengan mengunakan bahan-bahan yang segar dari ladang.

Refarm is a 26-acres recreational farm, located in Kampar, Perak. We are about 4 kilometers away from Kampar town, situated beside the route towards Temoh & Tapah town.
Refarm is surrounded by hills and forests. The waterfall inside the forest is a precious resource for us. With a total length of 1.2 kilometers piping system, we manage to connect with the upstream of the waterfall to supply the cleanest water for the crops and animals including the chicken, fish and goats.
In Refarm, we produce organic fertilizer. In which we recycle the animals and plants’ excrement and residue, turned into manure through fermentation process. Manure is the best and most environmentally friendly fertilizer which provides sufficient nutrition to the crops to grow, eventually the crops will become the finest and healthiest food.
Refarm would not discard those low quality vegetables and fruits as waste. Instead, it will be made as animal feed. This is Refarm’s concept – Recycle and no thoughtless wastage.
Refarm is also a leisure tourist attraction that provides facilities and a series of activities suitable for friends and families to have a wonderful moment. You may visit us on a day trip, stay overnight or organize an event at Refarm.
“Farm-to-Table” is Refarm’s concept to serve you delicious and healthy cuisine using fresh from farm ingredients every day.

I got a chance to visit Kampar, a town located in the state of Perak Malaysia. This lake is very serene during the crack of dawn. I was able to capture some cool sunrise.
@2:17 on the video, I also happened to capture a strange creature swimming in the lake. I wonder any local people will know what would that creature be. It's fascinating to see it during play back of the footages I took a while ago.
