How Do Polish Villagers React To a Black Foreigner? (Social Experiment)
There is a stigma around black people when it comes to traveling in certain countries, especially in Eastern Europe. Is it because some people of colour complain about their experiences in European countries as a minority and how they think they are not treated well? In my travel videos across Europe I have been documenting my own reality of life as a foreigner and my experiences on how I engage with the local people I come across on my journeys where ever it is on or off the camera all of my encounters are the same.. My travels are comfortable and enjoyable and definitely loads fun. I do not feel like a victim or threatened because my colour when I travel. I believe this channel can educate people from an aspect that not all people of colour are always discriminated or judged, this can be seen in all my films from me showing my encounters in some of the most remote places I have visited in Europe such as, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland and England. Although I know some people are racist but for their own reasons.. What advice can I give to anyone that wants to travel no matter the country you travel to or what your colour is. Be fearless, friendly and open to learn a few phrases for interactions, because I know it takes a lot of effort for people and confidence to approach a random stranger and start a conversation and that’s what my spontaneous village travels are about - interacting with the locals and showing how life is on the outside of the big cities and towns. Watch me on this village tour which is far from a touristic location where foreigners usually don’t go. Let’s have look how the Polish people interact with a foreigner. Gdy są ograniczenia w podróżowaniu poza granice naszego kraju, warto wykorzystać czas na poznawanie Polski. Zapraszam Was na krótką relację z jednodniowej wycieczki do Kalisza. Zwiedzanie miasta szczególnie polecam miłośnikom historii - wszak jest to jedno z najstarszych, polskich miast, a dobry przewodnik możne opowiadać o minionych latach Kalisza bardzo długo i bardzo ciekawie.
Mieliśmy szczęście trafić na świetnego przewodnika, który potrafił zainteresować swoimi opowieściami nawet tak odporną na wiedze historyczna osobę jak ja :).

Итак, продолжаем наши путешествия по Польше. Сегодня покажу и расскажу вам о самом древнем городе Польши - Калише.

Рядом с Калишем находится очень красивый Замок в Неборове с чудесным парком. Обязательно рекомендую посетить. У меня в Инстаграме есть виде IGTV о нем
Это город в центрально-западной Польше Великопольского воеводства, расположенный вдоль реки Просна. Калиш - один из старейших городов Польши. Под названием Калиция он упоминается Птолемеем в его «Географии» 142 н. э.
Историки считают, что Калиш был самым разрушенным городом в Европе во время Первой мировой войны. После окончания войны город был перестроен, сохранив средневековый облик.
Важным памятником города является готический Собор Св. Николая. Самым ценным экспонатом костела была картина Рубенса «Снятие с креста». Полотно было повреждено или украдено в 1973 году. Сокровище храма - купель 13 века.
Базилика Успения Пресвятой Богородицы находится в центре города, на площади св. Иосифа, построенная еще в 1353 году. Была перестроена после 1790 года, в стиле позднего барокко, с готическим алтарем. Внесен в реестр памятников в 1965 году. Самая ценная часть собора - сокровищница. В ней находится готическая чаша 1363 года, подаренная королем Казимиром Великим. В церкви также есть подземная часовня, которая сейчас оборудована и является главным местом паломничества.
Калиш - единственное место в Европе, где можно научиться строить фортепиано на профессиональном уровне. В мире всего 3 таких школы.
Рыночная площадь размером 100х120 м. В центре площади находится ратуша, которая до сих пор является городской администрацией. Ратуш в связи с разрушениями перестраивалась трижды - в последний раз в 1924 году.
Францисканский костел и монастырь — заложен в 1257. От первоначальной постройки сохранились алтарь XIII века и нефы. Примыкающий к церкви монастырь был построен в конце 17 века на месте более старого.
Калишский городской парк - самый старый парк в Польше, заложен еще в 1798 году. Изначально был общедоступным для всех жителей.
