Let's start from the outskirts of the city and move towards the center.
Tver (from 1931 to 1990 - Kalinin) is a city in Russia, the administrative center of the Tver region and the Kalininsky district, which is not included, being an administrative-territorial unit with the status of a district and a city of regional significance, forming the municipal district of the same name, the city of Tver.
It is located on the banks of the Volga River, in the area where the Tvertsa and Tmaka rivers flow into it, 177.6 km north-west of Moscow.
Tver was founded in 1135 on the spit of the Tmaki River. Since 1247 - the center of the Tver principality; during the Mongol-Tatar yoke, it became one of the centers of resistance (a major uprising in 1327) and competed with Moscow for the role of the political center of North-Eastern Russia; since 1485 - as part of the Moscow state (later - Russia).
From 1796 to 1929 - the center of the Tver province, and since 1935 - the administrative center of the Kalinin region (since 1990 - the Tver region).
From October to December 1941, the city was occupied by German troops, was badly damaged during the occupation and hostilities, and was subsequently rebuilt. In 1971 he was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor. On November 4, 2010 he was awarded the honorary title City of Military Glory.
Tver is a large industrial, scientific and cultural center, a major transport hub at the intersection of the St. Petersburg - Moscow railway line and the Rossiya highway with the Upper Volga. The area of the city is 152.22 km², the city is administratively divided into 4 districts (Zavolzhsky, Moskovsky, Proletarsky, Central). Population - 449507 people. (2017).
City self-government is represented by the Tver City Duma (consisting of 33 deputies), the Head of the city, elected by the Tver City Duma from among candidates presented by the competition commission, the City Administration and the Control and Accounts Chamber of the city of Tver.

Awesome Architectural Monument of 1930's Soviet Constructivism (40th Block) in St Petersburg, Russia
Kondratievsky Residential Massive (or Kondratievsky Housing Estate) is a residential district consisted of 12 buildings in Kalininsky District of St Petersburg, Russia. Official address is Kondratievsky Prospect, 40 (among the people known as 40th block).
Constructed in 1929-1931 by one of the best architects of Project Bureau of Constructing Committee. 12 same-kind of 60-apartment residential buildings, laundry, library, club, and kindergarten.
Kondratievsky Housing Estate was one of the first blocks constructed in Leningrad for the workers of Vyborg side of the city. The first residential district which is became a start point for a socialistic reconstruction of the district.
This complex is now considered as a monument of Constructivism.
But most probably will be renovated in the nearest years.

Редкино
Первые упоминания о селе относятся к XVI веку.
В 1890-х гг. у станции Редкино началась промышленная разработка торфа на месторождении Галицкий Мох.
Во время строительства Иваньковского водохранилища в 1936 г. в Редкино была переселена
часть жителей затапливаемых по берегам Шоши деревень. Население увеличилось до 4 тыс.
В предвоенные годы Редкинский завод превратился в торфохимический комбинат,
состоявший из коксозавода и торфоразработок, эксплуатирующих торфяное болото Галицкий Мох.
При заводе существовало фабрично-заводское училище, реорганизованное в 1940 г. в ремесленное.
Редкинский завод с 1920-х по 1990-е годы был градообразующим предприятием. С 1950-х гг. он получает статус опытного завода при Министерстве
нефтяной промышленности СССР и выпускал различную химическую продукцию от искусственного жидкого топлива до кремнийорганических мономеров и полимеров.
В 1939 году Редкино получает статус посёлка городского типа. В это время он относится к Завидовскому району Калининской области.
Дом культуры химик в этом здании открыл свои двери в 1976 году. Но само строительство ДК было растянуто по времени фундамент был заложен в 1967 году
и только через 9 лет состоялось открытие.
Большое влияние на развитие поселения оказала Николаевская железная дорога, строительство которой началось в 1843 году.
В 1851 году в Редкине прогудел первый паровоз.
Редкино было полустанком и не имело даже водонапорной башни для заправки паровозов водой. В это время в деревеньке насчитывалось всего 20 крестьянских дворов.
В пяти километрах от поселка Редкино находится поселок Изоплит. История поселка начинается с 1929 года.
В лесу было намечено построить фабрику, которая могла бы давать стране изоляционные материалы, нужные для строек.
В 1930 году началась подготовка места под здание фабрики. Корчевали лес, сделали просеку до села Редкино
Вместе с фабрикой была построена электростанция, которая давала ток для освещения нашего поселка, поселков Озерки и близлежащих деревень.
Историю поселка Озерки можно также отсчитывать с 1929 года. Для новой строящейся советской страны нужно было топливо
в больших количествах. Сначала разработка месторождений
велась Редкинским торфопредприятием.
В 1932 году торфяные поля переходят в ведение Калининского торфотреста. На месте нынешнего поселка строят бараки для рабочих.
В них разместились общежитие, столовая, медпункт. Построили небольшой магазин.
Великая отечественная не обошла стороной эти места. В июне 1941 года свыше 700 рабочих предприятия ушли на фронт.
Памятник павшим войнам землякам, а также солдатам защищавшим эти места
В начале 50-х годов началась коренная реконструкция торфопредприятия. Самые современные машины постепенно вытесняют ручной труд.
В поселке строятся дома городского типа, школа, Дом культуры, асфальтированная дорога Редкино – Озерки
Первые упоминия о поселении на месте села Городня относятся к 14 веку.
В средневековье это был небольшой городок тверских князей. Это поселение носило сразу два имени: Вертязин и Городен (в некоторых источниках — Городень).
В конце XVIII века в Городне был построен Путевой дворец (архитектор М. Ф. Казаков), в
котором останавливались цари, государственные курьеры, иностранные дипломаты и другие путешественники.
По другим данным, автором проекта дворца был архитектор П. Р. Никитин, а возведён дворец был в стиле позднего
барокко в 1776 году по указу Екатерины II, по аналогичному проекту строились Путевые дворцы в Торжке, Вышнем Волочке, Выдропужске, Медном
Главной достопримечательностью села является Церковь Рождества Богородицы.
Наиболее древняя сохранившаяся постройка в Тверской области, единственный дошедший до наших дней памятник архитектуры Великого княжества Тверского.
Если обойти территории церковь, то с холма, на котором она расположена открываются потрясающие виды на Волгу.

вчера мы были у другого входа. ну звездочки уже симпатичные
можно среди них погулять немножко

встретили знаменитые чешские цирк и аттракционы
обычно они в Питер приезжают летом, но пока что их не видел в этом году
потому что они прячутся здесь в Твери
с особой любовью отношусь к этой машине Авиа производства Чехословакии
здесь она в модифицированном самом последнем виде
Парк ПОбеды в Питере отличается от местного конечно
у нас таких зарослей нет
скажу честно, в нашем парке стоят памятники героям
а здесь кроме этих звезд к Второй Мировой Войне ничего не относится
где же она? там помойка стоит
кажется вот что-то с победой связанное..

Манежная площадь, Manege Square or Manezhnaya
Manezhnaya or Manege Square (Russian: Манежная площадь, Manezhnaya ploshchad) is a large pedestrian open space at the heart of Moscow bound by the Hotel Moskva to the east, the State Historical Museum and the Alexander Garden to the south, the Moscow Manege to the west, and the 18th-century headquarters of the Moscow State University to the north.
The square forms a vital part of downtown Moscow, connecting Red Square (which sprawls behind the Iberian Gate immediately to the south) with a major traffic artery, Tverskaya Street, which starts here and runs northward in the direction of Saint Petersburg. It is served by three metro stations: Okhotny Ryad, Ploshchad Revolyutsii, and Teatralnaya. Moiseyevskaya Square at the turn of the 19th century. The Manezhka (as it is familiarly known) had its origins in Moiseyevskaya Square, which was formed in 1798 in consequence of the demolition of the medieval Moiseyevsky Monastery which used to stand on the banks of the Neglinnaya River since the times of Ivan the Terrible. Although the muddy river was earthed up, the neighbourhood remained crammed with public houses and taverns which gave the area its infamous moniker of Moscow's belly. A decision was arrived at in 1932 to pull down these ugly relics of the bourgeois lifestyle in order to make room for Communist meetings and demonstrations. As a result, the 19th-century Grand Hotel and several Neoclassical mansions by Osip Bove were dismantled, whereupon the Moiseyevskaya Square was expanded to its present size and renamed Manezhnaya after the Manege it now abutted upon.
Notwithstanding its new name, the eastern side of the square came to be dominated by another building, the newly-built Hotel Moskva, a hybrid of several styles, most notable for its huge proportions and uptight look. In 1967, the square was renamed after the 50th Anniversary of the October Revolution. Furthermore, in order to commemorate that event, the Communist authorities laid a foundation stone for a grandiose sculptural monument, which failed to materialize. In August 1991, Manezhnaya Square (its name by then restored) became a venue for great demonstrations celebrating the fall of Communism after the abortive coup d'etat. More recently, it made the news in connection with riots following the Russia national football team's defeat at the 2002 FIFA World Cup. The place has been a stage of rioting again in December 2010, when thousands of youth representing football fans and/or those who support nationalist slogans held a rally at Manezhnaya which turned violent. It resulted in many local rioting and ethnically motivated violence across Moscow and nationwide and made the square's name common in media when it comes to growth of nationalist sentiments in modern Russia. Monument on a glass cupola to Saint George and the Dragon, patron of Moscow During the 1990s, the Moscow mayor Yury Luzhkov had the square closed to traffic and substantially renovated. The centrepiece of the renovated square is a modern trade centre, with four underground storeys and parking lot capped with a rotating glass cupola, which forms a world clock of the Northern hemisphere with major cities marked and a scheme of lights below each panel to show the progression of the hour. Another innovation is the feign river-bed of the Neglinnaya River, which has become a popular attraction for the Muscovites and tourists alike, especially on sultry days of summer.
