From the end of West Pachaiyaru Dam you need walk inside forest area for 20 to 25 min to reach thenga Uruli waterfall.

If you are in group then only go to this place..

Bus is available from Kalakkad bus stop to Pachaiyaru Dam.

We have parked our bike inside and it will only take only 5 min from their to reach thenga Uruli Waterfall.

It has only one beautiful waterfall... so if you come early no one will be their in waterfall.

Kuthirapanjan Falls is a hypnotizing waterfall arranged close Panagudi town in Tirunelveli region of Tamilnadu. Otherwise called Panagudi Falls, Kuthirapanjan Waterfalls is a regular waterfall shaped over Hanuman River, a tributary to the renowned Thamirabarani River. The stature of the falls is around 150 feet. It is arranged in Western Ghats encompassed by mountain goes and is the core of the Mahendragiri slopes.
The falls can be gotten to from the town of Panagudi and is the fundamental fascination of Panagudi. It is encompassed by a chain of mountains, windmills alongside the mountains offer a beautiful view.

The scenic location set deep into the dense woods of Western Ghat Ranges in the Kalakkad Mundanthurai Tiger Reserve Area. This unexplored region lies in the Tirunelveli district of the South Indian state Tamil Nadu. Situated at an altitude of 1160meters above the sea level, Manjolai hills still remains an unexplored region with a mystical beauty.

It is also called as “Poor Man’s Ooty” for its tranquil ambience and scenic locations. Prior permission from the forest department is insisted as the location is to be reached moving within the forest.

The best time to visit Manjolai Hills is between November and March. Trekking is suggested for adventure seekers to explore into the woods. Beautiful view of the Thiruparappu Waterfall near Kanyakumari, Chennai...

Thiruparappu Waterfalls is an excellent tourist spot in Kanyakumari district situated in Nagercoil to Trivandram highway. Thiruparappu falls is situated 35 KMs from Nagercoil and about 15 KMs from Pechiparai Dam. Thiruparappu water falls is also called as Kumari Kuttalam.

Thirparappu Waterfalls lies close to the village Kulasekaram which was ruled by kings. Thirparappu waterfall starts from the Kodayar River and this riverbed is about 300 meters length. The water pours down from the height of nearly 50 feet and water flows this fall about seven months in a year.

Thiruparappu Dam is built on a rocky bed spanning far across the distance covering one fourth of a kilometer in the direction against the water current, and water flows further to paddy fields. There is temple dedicated to Lord Mahadeva near to this fall and there is strong wall surrounded to this temple. There is a small swimming pool constructed for children by Administration.

Thiruparappu water falls is an excellent tourist spot in Kanyakumari district. There are number of public buses are available; also you can reach Thirparappu Waterfalls by auto rickshaws and Taxis from different places.

Thirparappu Falls is located 40 km. from Nagerkovil, and this famous falls is a feature of the Kothai River. A children's swimming pool and dressing room constructed and maintained by the Special Village Panchayat. A Mahadever kovil located near this fall, is the third one of the twelve Sivalayas. This temple was built around A.D. 9th Century. This is famous for its Kerala Architecture and a Cauve Temple near the Temple belongs to the age of First Raja Raja Chola and falls 42 km from Nagerkoil

The Chitharal Jain Monuments; also known as Chitharal Malai Kovil (literally Temple on the Hill), Chitharal Cave Temple or Bhagwathi Temple, Chitral; are situated on the Thiruchanattu Malai (Thiruchanattu hillocks) near Chitharal village, Kanyakumari district, Tamil Nadu, India.

Lying utterly isolated, overlooking some dramatic landscapes is this architectural wonder. The relics can take you to a meditative state and let you experience the imprints left by an ancient community. It is an uphill journey to the Jain architectural ruins. A stone laid pathway leads you up till the rock-cut cave temple. Since the pathway is cut across a jumble of huge rocks, there are ample opportunities to climb up the nearby rocks. Once you are on the top of these rocks, the consistent wind hits you and so does the sigh-inducing landscape. Each one offers grand views of the unending vista of mountains and verdant valleys.

Chittar Dam – 1 is a reservoir located at Pechiparai Village in Kanyakumari District of Tamilnadu. Chittar dams were constructed as part of the Kodayar System Major Irrigation Project. There are 2 dams, namely, Chittar-1 and Chittar-2 in which the latter being larger.The Chittar Reservoir is built on the Chittar River. This river and its five tributaries originate in the Courtallam hills in the state of Tamil Nadu in southern India. It is also known as Sivalokam reservoir mainly used for irrigation purpose in the rural areas of Marthandam and Kulasekharam area. The Chitter Reservoir is a well-known tourist spot, owing to its superb views, breathtaking scene of waterfalls and cascades.

Thiruparappu is located about 55 kilometers away from kanniyakumari. The Kodayar makes its descend at Tirparappu and the water fall at this place is about 13km. from Pechiparai dam. The river bed is rocky and about 300 feet in length. The water falls from a height of nearly 50 feet and the water flows for about seven months in a year.
