Karaikal ???? :
Karaikal, town, Puducherry union territory, southeastern India. It constitutes an enclave on the Coromandel Coast of the Bay of Bengal within eastern Tamil Nadu state, near the mouth of the Arasalar River.
Karaikal, the chief town of the Karaikal territory and a former French colony in India, is in the fertile Kaveri (Cauvery) River delta, the most-important rice-growing region of Tamil Nadu. The area was part of the Chola empire in the 10th century, and it was conquered successively by Vijayanagar, Maratha, Muslim, and French troops, becoming French in the late 18th century. Since the 1950s the area has been a popular seaside tourist resort of the union territory. Major sites include the Jambunatha temple built by Thirumalai Rayan of the Vijayanagar empire in the 15th century, the Saneeswaran temple, and the Karaikal Ammaiyar temple. Pop.

During our last visit to Thirunallar ,we stayed in the Karaikal Ashok Beach resort.It's a nice property with awesome beach access.This video provides the quick view of interior and outside of the resort and room.For more information about the resort please check their website down below
We stayed in deluxe room and booked the room by calling them directly.They charged ₹ 2500 including GST for the room.Thirunallar temple is 7km from this resort.You can get a good food in Arusuvai restaurant in 2km or Kandas Veg restaurant in Thirunallar road.
Kandas restaurant is extremely good and you will get a variety of dosa and other breakfast and snacks items.Prices are very reasonable and the sizes of dosa's will be big.
