Karlsruhe, Germany 2022 - A Walking Tour Around this German City
Karlsruhe is the second largest city in the German state of Baden-Württemberg (after Stuttgart). This walk in Karlsruhe is on a public holiday so it's fairly quiet in the centre.
We walk along the Karlsstraße and head to the Karlsruhe palace which is one of the few touristic sights in this industrial city. There in the palace garden people enjoy their holiday. We return through the fan shaped layout of the park and head back towards the inner city.
We pass the Rondellplatz, Friedrichsplatz among others. A few restaurants and cafés are open as we end this short walk near St. Stephen's Square.

Baden-Baden lies at the northwestern border of the Black Forest mountain range on the small river Oos, just 10 km (6 mi) east of the Rhine. Nestled at the foot of the Black Forest in South Germany, Baden-Baden is a chic destination for those who fancy a dip in its famous salt- and radon-rich thermal hot springs. Baden-Baden has been a popular destination for so long that it's starting to show its age, but not to worry. Baden-Baden is still very classy, picturesque and well-maintained. Baden-Baden is a wealthy spa town at the edge of the Black Forest in Baden Württemberg. The town is located south west Germany, near the border with France - around 1 hour by car from Strasbourg.
Baden-Baden is famous for thermal bath and the Kurhaus complex (built in 1824) with the Spielbank (casino). That is the place where also Dostoevsky gambled during his 5 week stay which makes Baden-Baden a popular destination for Russian tourists.
On this walking tour of Baden-Baden we see the centre of the town, the spa area and some shopping streets. We also visit the main sights like the Spielbank and Trinkhalle and get an impression how Baden Baden looks like outside the main tourist season in fall.

Lisa Kestel ist für uns einen Tag in Karlsruhe unterwegs: Fächerstadt, Residenz des Rechts und beliebteste Fahrradstadt Deutschlands. In der 308.000-Einwohner-Stadt wohnen zudem gleich zwei Berühmtheiten: Die weltweit erfolgreichste Fitness-Influencerin Pamela Reif und der jüngste Sternekoch Deutschlands Sören Anders. Eine ein bisschen berühmter als der andere.
Das Karlsruher Zentrum ist das Schloss – und das sieht man auch vor allem von oben. Denn alle Straßen führen fächerartig vom Schloss weg. Durch den besonderen und symmetrischen Grundriss erhielt Karlsruhe auch den Namen “Fächerstadt”.
Doch Karlsruhe hat einen weiteren Namen, der sogar von großer Bedeutung für ganz Deutschland ist. Die drittgrößte Stadt Baden-Württembergs ist nämlich die Residenz des Rechts. Hier stehen die drei höchsten deutschen Rechtsinstitute: Das Bundesverfassungsgericht, der Bundesgerichtshof und der Generalbundesanwalt beim Bundesgerichtshof.

The Würzburg witch trials, which occurred between 1626 and 1631, are one of the largest peace-time mass trials. In Würzburg, under Bishop Philip Adolf an estimated number between 600 and 900 alleged witches were burnt. In 1631, Swedish King Gustaf Adolf invaded the town and plundered the castle.

I really enjoy flying airplane but when it comes to filming I don't see any advantage of airplane over quadcopter. Flight time is longer but modern quads also have it fine.
Disadvantages are obvious: Hard to land in wind, every landing is actually a crash into ground. Flight is only forward possible
Walking in KARLSRUHE / Germany ????????- City Center - 4K60 (UHD)
Karlsruhe is the second largest city in the German state of Baden-Württemberg after Stuttgart. With a large student population the city has a vibrant atmosphere. There are relatively few tourist sights however, though Karlsruhe is still a nice place for a walk
We start our tour at the Karlsruhe palace which is one of the few touristic sights. We explore more of the city and see the Rondellplatz with the Ettlinger Tor shopping mall.
As we continue to walk west we see a lot of places around Erbprinzenstraße like the Ludwigplatz and Europaplatz. Finally we head back up north towards the palace where we pass the Kunsthalle.
Heading back to the center we stroll along the Herrenstraße with many shops.
For the final part of the tour we leave the market square and head a bit south to Lidellplatz, where we end this Karlsruhe walking tour.

#geldern is a city in the federal German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It is part of the district of #kleve which is part of the Düsseldorf administrative region.
Geldern lies in the plains of the lower, northern Rhineland, west of the Rhine. Its average elevation is 27 m AMSL. The river Niers, a tributary of the Meuse (Maas), flows through Geldern. The stream Gelderner Fleuth flows into the Niers in Geldern.
It is close to both Düsseldorf Airport and Airport Weeze, also called Airport Niederrhein (referring to the Lower Rhine region).
The present composition of the city of Geldern was created at the territorial reorganization of North Rhine-Westphalia, on 1 July 1969. The municipalities of Kapellen, Vernum, Pont, Veert and Walbeck were incorporated into Geldern.
On 1 January 1975 the former districts of Cleves and Geldern and parts of the districts of Moers and Rees were merged to form the new district of Cleves.
