After a day spent hiking in Howth we took the bus to get back to Dublin city center. Bus H3 or bus 6 run from The Summit Inn in Howth to Dublin city center and the journey takes around an hour.

You can see main tourist attractions in Dublin such as Guinness Store House, Guinness Distillery, Phoenix park, Spire of Dublin at O'Connell Street, O'Connell Bridge, St Patrick's Cathedral, Christ Church Cathedral and etcetera. A review video of the Citywest Kingswood Hotel, Dublin. Located on the M7 motorway on the Kildare and Dublin border.
A nice place to stay, clean comfortable rooms, a little small but well equipped. This is the executive double room, costs about €100.00 per night.
There is a very good adjoining restaurant, worth a visit.
The room was warm and all the main items worked well including, the TV, The Coffee machine, lighting, shower etc.
A nice place to stay in a good location if you are visiting Dublin and/ or Kildare.

**Traffic is not as heavy as last night but conditions remain treacherous with delays on many routes.** *MAIN TRAFFIC* * Very heavy along South Quays from O'Connell Bridge through to Con Colbert Rd and out the N4/Lucan Rd past the M50 Interchange. * Vehicles stuck on the slip road from the M1 southbound onto the M50, with delays back to J2 Dublin Airport. Still slow from Dorset St at the NCR jct to the Whitehall Flyover. Just slow on the M1 at J4 Lissenhall. * Vehicles getting stuck on the ice on N7/Naas Rd at Red Cow Interchange. Delays from Crumlin Hospital right through to Newlands Cross. Slow inbound Green Isle Hotel to Red Cow. * Moving better now northbound at J13 Sandyford. Further north, there are reports of a truck broken down at J6 Blanchardstown. Southbound two vehicles are blocking the middle lanes at J6 and vehicles are having trouble negotiating the off-ramps at J6, J7, J9 & J10; traffic is heavy as a result.
*SOUTHSIDE* * Infirmary Rd is extremely slippery and almost impassable. * Fresh snow & ice on N11 in parts from Foxrock Church to Morehampton Rd. Delays on Nutley Lane approaching the N11 due to conditions. * Newtownpark Ave and Kill Lane remain extremely icy. * Avoid Wyatville Rd & Strathmore Rd in Shankill. Cornelscourt Hill Rd should also be avoided. * In Blackrock, icy conditions on Rock Rd at Booterstown Ave and onto Frascati Rd. Stradbrook Rd and Templehill Rd are impassable. * Avoid Glenageary Rd Lower, where conditions are treacherous. * Very slippery conditions throughout around Killiney and Dalkey. * Treacherous on Grange Rd in Rathfarnham, particularly at Hermitage Hill where it is impassable. * Severe ice on N81/Templeogue Rd. Slow outbound from Greenhills Rd to Jobstown. Very icy Ballinascorney Hill & Aghfarrell Hill on Tallaght/Brittas Rd (R114).
*SOUTHSIDE CONTD* * Chapel Hill in Lucan is closed as a truck has become stuck. *NORTHSIDE* * Slow outbound from Constitution Hill to Hart's Corner on the N2/Phibsborough Rd. * Slow on the NCR from Summerhill to the N3/Cabra Rd. * Glendalough Rd in Drumcondra is impassable. * Very icy conditions lingering along the M1. Recent snowfall is adding to dangerous conditions. * Extremely slow on routes around Rush, Lusk & Skerries where conditions are treacherous. * Road conditions extremely poor around Fairview, Howth and Malahide. * In the Phoenix Park, Knockmaroon Gate, Islandbridge Gate, Survey road, Upper Glen Road and Wellington Road are all closed because of icy conditions. * Avoid Station Rd by the DART station in Raheny due to ice.
*TRAVEL* * Dublin Airport have suspended operations until 21:00hrs due to a recent heavy snowfall. Flights being diverted to Cork, Shannon and Belfast. • Dublin Bus last buses running at 10pm. Irish Rail will accept bus tickets. All nitelinks are cancelled. Visit Dublin Bus for full details. • Luas Red and Green Line are operating full services. • Iarnród Éireann M3 Parkway trains will continue to run to/from Connolly instead of Docklands. • The vast majority of Bus Éireann services around the country are operating as normal with some delays and diversions in affected areas.
