First Impressions of Kedah: Malaysian Warriors & Land of History - MALAYSIA TRAVEL VLOG & GUIDE
Kedah is more than just Langkawi! The oldest civilazation in Southeast Asia has some serious WARRIOR history!
We learned a lot -- started at the Pillbox form the battle of Jitra. Just imagining what took place in that Pillbox gave us goosebumps. And having it just sitting besidethe road like that! Incredible.
We checked out Menara Alot Setar Tower for a great view of the paddy fields. Now wonder they call it the rice bowl of Malaysia! A hearty food to feed all those warriors :).
And even the Masjid Zahir (Mosque) is built on the cemetery of a former warrior gravesite! The warrior history here runs deep.
And Museum Kota Kuala Kedah brought our historical and educational day full circle. Learning about the battles with the Portuguese, Aceh, and Siam (Thailand) was really interesting.
More good stuff to come from Kedah!

四個山頭的山，昨晚太累沒survey 好，今天一路爬到第四個山頭，上下了好多輪，才發現第四個山頭沒風景。趕快跑回去之前的山頭看日出。來到第三個山頭有雲海彩霞山脈可以拍。第二個山頭也是沒風景。跑回第一個山頭後日出才剛出來，可惜沒拍到time-lapse 日出過程。但是拍到日出也滿意了。
如果要拍日出，第一個山頭就可以拍了，第三個山頭拍雲海和彩霞山脈村莊稻田。第二沒風景。第四个风景有红树林。
有點像broga hill那種茅草山的日出感覺。
The mountain with four hills.Today, I climbed all the way to the fourth hill. After going up and down many rounds, I found that the fourth hill had no scenery. Run back to the previous hill to watch the sunrise. When I came to the third mountain, there was a sea of clouds and the Caixia Mountains to take pictures. There is no view on the second hill. The sunrise just came out after running back to the top of the first hill, but unfortunately I didn't capture the time-lapse sunrise process. But I was also satisfied with the sunrise.
If you want to shoot the sunrise, you can shoot the first mountain, and the third mountain is the sea of clouds and the rice fields in the villages of the Caixia Mountains. The second is no scenery. The fourth landscape has mangroves.
It's a bit like the sunrise feeling of thatched hill in broga hill.
Gunung dengan empat bukit. Hari ini, saya mendaki hingga ke bukit keempat. Setelah naik dan turun banyak pusingan, saya dapati bukit keempat tidak mempunyai pemandangan. Lari kembali ke bukit sebelumnya untuk menyaksikan matahari terbit. Ketika saya datang ke gunung ketiga, ada lautan awan dan Pergunungan Caixia untuk mengambil gambar. Tidak ada pemandangan di bukit kedua. Matahari terbit baru sahaja keluar setelah kembali ke puncak bukit pertama, tapi sayangnya saya tidak menangkap proses matahari terbit yang berlalu. Tetapi saya juga berpuas hati dengan matahari terbit.
Sekiranya anda ingin menembak matahari terbit, anda dapat menembak gunung pertama, dan gunung ketiga adalah lautan awan dan sawah di perkampungan Pergunungan Caixia. Yang kedua adalah pemandangan. Landskap keempat mempunyai bakau.
Ia seperti perasaan terbitnya bukit jerami di bukit broga.

1. Sunway Lagoon
-Taman Tema Sunway Logoon terletak di Bandar Sunway Subang Jaya, Selangor. Merupakan taman tema air yang paling poular di Malaysia. Taman tema ini adalah seperti sebuah bandar yang dipenuhi dengan aktiviti air. Di dalam sunway logoon dibahagikan kepada beberapa bahagian yang mana setiap bahagian mempunyai kegiatan aktiviti yang berbeza. Alor Setar is largely closed down today. It should be a big holiday with everyone out on the street in celebration of the end of the Haj, but with the present Pandemic, everywhere is closed and the streets very quiet. Even so, Alor Setar is one of our favourite cities in Malaysia, if nothing else but for some really good restaurants. We even managed a cocktail bar while we were there... granted it was a slightly eccentric affair staffed by people who perhaps had never tasted a cocktail themselves, let alone constructed one without having to look it up on the Internet before hand, but cocktail bar it was.
