Puning, Jieyang, Guangdong, China
Puning, a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Guangdong Province, is under the administration of Jieyang City. It is located in the eastern part of Guangdong Province, in the western part of the Chaoshan Plain, at the upper reaches of the Rong River, Lianjiang River and Longjiang River. It lies between 115°43′10″ and 116°21′02″ East longitude and 23°05′40″ and 23°31′48″ North latitude, with the Tropic of Cancer crossing the northern part of the city, with a total area of 1,620.05 square kilometres. According to the data of the seventh census, the resident population of Puning City was 1,998,619 as at 00:00 on 1 November 2020.
In 2018, Puning City has 7 streets, 17 towns and 1 township, and 8 township-level units, including 5 farms, 2 industrial parks and 1 Pu Qiao District, under its jurisdiction. The municipal government is located in the street of Liushabei. In the middle of the Rongjiang River Plain and the Lianjiang River Plain, the Tie Shan hills are lined with peaks and mountains, and in ancient times the cliffs and rocks were full of orchids and cymbidiums, so there is a Tie Shan Orchid as the city sculpture of Puning.
PUNING is a famous cultural town in Chaoshan, and a famous trade city with strong influence at home and abroad, especially famous at home and abroad for its ten professional markets such as garments, Chinese herbal medicines, tea and fruits. There are a number of large trade markets such as Kangmei (Puning) Chinese herbal medicine professional market, Puning International Garment City and Puning International Commodity City. Clothing and medicine are the two pillar industries of Puning, the largest production base of shirts in China, the largest base of Chinese herbal medicines in South China, the largest distribution centre of clothing, tobacco, tea, fruits and textiles in East Guangdong, and the transit point of passenger and freight transportation in East Guangdong.

Hari kelima kami berangkat dari changsha menuju ke Jieyang揭阳市,
lalu di jemput sama saudara yang di china ke Shantou汕头市.
Shantou itu terletak di bagian china yang dekat Chaozhou潮州市,
yaitu di mana asal orang teochew, dan di sana ada keluarga KouKou(cece nya bapak),
sebagian besar waktu habis di perjalanan, karna kami berjumpa dan bertamu ke rumah saudara2.
setelah itu tetap saja keluar malam, mencari supper yang gak ketinggal. hahaha

Ke Jieyang tak lengkap kalau belum mencoba changfen-nya. Berbeda dengan changfen di Guangzhou, changfen khas Tiociu di Jieyang memiliki banyak pilihan isian dan diberi kuah kental. Secara rasa, selera masing-masing ya.. Tapi jelas ini memberi experience yang berbeda bagi penikmat changfen.
Kami juga mampir lagi ke Jieyang Confusian Temple, yang tutup pada hari Senin. Di sini untuk pertama kalinya kami belajar cukup detail mengenai kehidupan Confucius, karena sebelumnya belum dapat tempat yang cukup informatif mengenai Confucius.
Siang hari kami coba makan siang kwetiau sapi di tempat yang happening di Jieyang. Secara rasa, lagi-lagi selera masing-masing. Buat Lussi yang lidahnya Indonesia, kurang rasa sih, rada-rada hambar. Tapi ambiance-nya asyik. Restonya instagrammable dan wangi. Kalau lain kali ke sana lagi, mau coba gelato & desserts di lantai 1.
Siang hari kami lanjut perjalanan ke Shantou, yang juga merupakan kota di Chaoshan region, dengan mayoritas penduduk Tiocio (Teochew) juga seperti di Jieyang. Yuk, ikuti selengkapnya di video ini!
