???????? JEREZ DE GARCÍA SALINAS, ZACATECAS, MEXICO - Welcome back to Zacatecas for another 2020 Mexico Travel video! We're back in the legendary Jerez de García Salinas! After many requests, I decided to revisit this awesome Pueblo Magico after first visiting here in May 2019. It's also Día de Muertos weekend in Mexico!
Jerez de García Salinas is a tiny pueblito about an hour's drive from Zacatecas, a state in north-central Mexico. As with all pueblos magicos, it's a special place full of colourful buildings, music, history and amazing food.
In this video I give you more reasons to add a place like Jerez de García Salinas to your plans for your Mexico trip. If you're planning on moving to Mexico, you'll have even fewer excuses to add it to your Mexico itinerary!
This video is also my FOUR YEAR TRAVEL ANNIVERSARY video, hence the feature-length. Yes, I've been travelling and working online for FOUR YEARS! In this video, we sample some brand new comida Mexicana (Mexican food) such as birria, as well as some burritos and amazing chocolate nieves at a place recommended by a subscriber. The other main topic of this video is around remembering to treasure special places and to remember we (well, some of us) are still able to travel to some beautiful locations in 2020, despite the pandemic.

Jerez es uno de los Pueblos Mágicos de Zacatecas.
En videos anteriores te mostré el centro de Zacatecas, una de las ciudades más bellas de nuestro país y declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO.
También la conocimos de noche y quedamos encantados con sus luces y vida nocturna donde pudimos cantar y beber mezcal disfrutando de las callejoneadas.
Así que después de pasar unos buenos días en la capital del estado nos vamos de manera rápida a conocer otros puntos de Zacatecas y elegimos el Pueblo Mágico de Jerez.
Jerez se encuentra al suroeste de Zacatecas a menos de 1 hora de la capital estado, en dirección a Malpaso y a 40 minutos de la Zona Arqueológica de la Quemada, ambos sitios se suelen visitar el mismo día aunque yo te la mostrare en otro video.
Jerez es uno de los 6 Pueblos Mágicos del estado, solía ser el más cercano a Zacatecas capital hasta que recientemente fue nombrado Guadalupe como el sexto pueblo mágico, mientras que Jerez obtuvo este nombramiento en el 2007.

JEREZ de GARCÍA SALINAS, ZACATECAS, MEXICO - Hola amigos and welcome back to Mexico! This is PART 4 of my 4 part series in the state of Zacatecas, Central Mexico. In this video we head to the stunning magic town of Jerez for a couple of hours, for ice cream and Tamborazo!
I've been in Mexico on and off since March 2018, and this is my final video before I head to other countries until later this year (I WILL BE BACK IN MEXICO approx November 2019!). As a result, we talk about how it feels going from feeling like a foreigner in a country to feeling fully welcomed and comfortable anywhere in Mexico.
Zacatecas is famous for Tamborazo, an important style of Mexican music (a smaller form or Banda). If you're planning a trip to Mexico in 2019, please consider Zacatecas as there are so many things to do including Cerro de la Bufa, Mina el Eden and more as featured in the previous 3 videos!

We visited small town Jerez in the warzone state of Zacatecas for a few days and we have to say its the most beautiful pueblo mágico in all of Mexico.
The town is stunning and there is tamborazo music everywhere plus the people were amazing. We ate at burritos la palma which was on the netflix taco chronicles aswell as tasty street side chicharrón.
Zacatecas is beautiful despite the ongoing problems and the violence we loved the land, the food and the people.

Hello everyone my name is Felix, and in this awesome video i flew to Zacatecas, Mexico. Zacatecas, Mexico is located roughly 1,542 miles from Los Angeles, California. Let me tell you something very important, I haven't been to Zacatecas, Mexico in over 20 years.
So this is a very memorable video. I am very proud to have such a wonderful family in Zacatecas , Mexico.
Luckly im not traveling alone, I brought along my 17 year old son Donnie with me so that i can share with him all of my childhood memories.
San Cayetano, Zacatecas will be our finale destination. San Cayetano, Zacatecas is located between Jerez, Zacatecas and Frenillo, Zacatecas and that's where i will be staying at.

After trying the famous la palma burritos in Jerez De Garcia Salinas we walked back into town and came across burritos don zoilo. We thought we'd give it a chance because the burritos in this town are legendary they are so incredibly good especially the birria specials.
We were met by lovely Armando who was great and i can say burritos don zoilo are the best in Jerez for me the flavours are unbelievable believe me. He looked after us and we ate quite a few things off the HUGE menu and he even gave us some capirotada which we really appreciated.

???????? GUADALUPE, ZACATECAS | Why PUEBLOS MÁGICOS are MAGIC! | Mexico Travel 2022
???????? GUADALUPE. MEXICO - For Part 22 of my 2022 Mexico Travel series, we wake up in Zacatecas after seeing Tamborazo in the previous video and evade vicious Mexidogs (obviously a joke jaja) before heading to another one of Mexico’s magic towns (pueblos mágicos), GUADALUPE, just a short distance on the local bus from Zacatecas itself, and definitely worth a day trip while in the state!
I’ve been to Jerez de Gárcia Salinas twice before (which is not far away); Guadalupe definitely adds something more to the magic towns of Zacatecas which have something quite unique about them which I can’t quite put my finger on!
This video is all about experiencing travel the way you want to and understanding that someone doesn’t have to do everything in Mexico to go away with a positive experience. There are many things to do and things to see in Guadalupe including churches, great Mexican food (comida Mexicana including lonches adobada and helado mexicana (ice cream)) and more, even if you just enjoy looking at architecture and buildings without needing to know in depth history! Guadalupe is another reason you should visit Zacatecas!
If you’re thinking of becoming expats or moving to Mexico, Zacatecas is definitely an underrated location - like Guanajuato would have been years ago. Is it safe? Is it dangerous? Granted, there have been recent events in relation to cartels in the state, but honestly, I’ve never experienced an issue.

After heading up Cerro de la Bufa and coming down the Teleferico in the last video, this time we are exploring the central area of Zacatecas, trying out some affordable, local food, taking a trip to Costanzo Chocolates, visting the local Basilica and finally driking Mezcal at Las Quince Letras, a famous Mexican cantina (bar) frequented by local artists and poets.
We also discuss a point relating to the fact that the longer we spend in a country, we understand the country's identity more. Colonial towns in Mexico may LOOK like Spain or Italy due to the colonial architecture, but at the end of the day, this is Mexico, a country with it's own identity!
Zacatecas is very much a lesser known gem in Mexico, which, if you're planning a Mexico trip in 2019, should definately be on your list!

???????? ZACATECAS, MEXICO - Welcome to Part 21 of my 2022 Mexico Travel series!! After flying from Sonora back to Mexico City to collect a new passport, I headed back north through San Luis Potosí to another one of what I consider to be one of the BEST cities to visit in Mexico!

As with San Luis, Zacatecas was just a flying visit! This is the first of 2 videos in and around Zacatecas. Before heading to Guadalupe next time for a regular style video, it’s time to go out on a Saturday night to witness CRAZY TAMBORAZO in Zacatecas - it’s ICONIC!
Tamborazo is a traditional style of music involving usually a small group of musicians playing instruments such as drums, trombones etc. They walk through the city with a crowd of locals following them and dancing. It’s one of my favourite things to do in Zacatecas!
Many expats are moving to Mexico, but Zacatecas is often overlooked in favour of Guanajuato and San Miguel de Allende etc. If I were to move to Mexico, Zacatecas would be one of my top 3 possible locations! Zacatecas has had some coverage recently about safety in relation to cartels, but as a foreigner, you're unlikely to run into troubles unless you're involved in illegal activity. Is Mexico safe? Is Mexico dangerous etc. I'm just putting that in for SEO obviously LOL.

ZACATECAS, MEXICO - Hola amigos! Welcome back to Mexico! I'm now in Monterrey, having spent the last week filming an EPIC 4 PART SERIES in the amazing city of ZACATECAS!! After almost 15 months in Mexico I made it to this city full of SO MANY things to do!
In the first part, we head up in the world to gain an overview of the city up Cerro de la Bufa (Bufa Hill), famous in the Mexican Revolution, across from Cerro El Grillo. We then head down in the Zacatecas Teleferico - I paid a little extra for the Cabina de Cristal, or in other words, the GLASS BOTTOMED cable car!
As described in this video, I was in Zacatecas for 2 weeks and this is the FIRST of FOUR VIDEOS coming from Zacatecas! In future videos we are heading to the famous drinking spot, Las Quince Letras, we are going to Jerez de Garcia Salinas, a Pueblo Magico, and we'll be going down El Eden Mine - Zacatecas is famous for silver, gold, onyx and quartz mining, among other things!
