Adventure in Jerantut, Pahang: The Gateway of Taman Negara - MALAYSIA TRAVEL VLOG & GUIDE
After our visit to Taman Negara National Park, we explored Jerantut, Pahang, and visited Gua Kota Gelanggi and Lata Meraung Waterfalls.
Many people only pass through this town to go to Taman Negara, but there are actually many things to do here. Check our cave adventure full of creepy things...snakes, spiders, bats. It may even be haunted!
On our way to the waterfalls, we also passed by an Orang Asli village and Bukit Seladang which was supposed to be spectacular for sunrise.
The waterfalls itself was nice. Was it the most beautiful waterfalls in Malaysia? Not sure, but it was definitely refreshing to swim and worth to check out. If you like nature, come here for cuti cuti Malaysia.

TAMAN NEGARA, Malaysia: Jungle Trek & CANOPY WALK + Elephants and Waterfalls
Taman Negara is the most beautiful jungle in West Malaysia. Two-thirds of the country of Malaysia consists of Tropical Rainforest and Taman Negara is only a small four-hour drive from Kuala Lumpur. You will find elephants, tapirs, monkeys, deer and wild boars. We also see hornbills, snakes and beautiful colored butterflies! I will take you to the Mutiara Taman Negara Resort, the only resort in the middle of the National Park. From there we take walks and boat trips to the longest Canopy Walk in the world, beautiful waterfalls and lots of wildlife! After our city trip in Kuala Lumpur and this visit to Taman Negara, we travel on to the Cameron Highlands, the 'Pearl of the Orient' Penang and the beautiful island of Langkawi!
We make our trip through Malaysia during a year-long world tour. We may even continue to travel indefinitely. On New Year's Day we started in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, the Canary Islands. Taman Negara (National Park) - 3D2N tour complete guide (Day1)
We took a three-day, two-night trip to Taman Negara (National Park) Malaysia. The trip was enjoyable. Among the activities are jungle trekking to Bukit Terisi and Canopy walkway, taking the boat ride to Lata Berkoh, rapid shooting at Sungai Tembiling, visiting the Aboriginal families, night jungle walk, and of course, enjoying a comfortable stay at Mutiara Taman Negara Resort.
We have divided our video into two parts. The first part is about our activities on the first day, and the second video is about what we did on the second and the third day.
There is real-life information, and all are shot in 4K HD quality. I hope you will only watch.
First Impressions of Taman Negara: Most beautiful place in Malaysia? PAHANG, MALAYSIA TRAVEL VLOG
We explore Taman Negara (National Park) in Pahang, Malaysia!
After crossing the river from Kuala Tahan, we entered Taman Negara where we did the canopy walk, and hiked Bukit Teresek (Terisek).
Hiking in Taman Negara is a popular activity but unfortunately we cannot hike Gunung Tahan or other destination where overnight stay is required due to the RMCO in Malaysia.
After our hike, our friend Meor took us on a short road trip passing the Hornbill Valley, and then decided to watch the sunset at Bukit Awan where we can see a spectacular view of Taman Negara.
The next day, we took a boat ride to Latah Berkoh where the cascading waterfall is, but on the way, we stopped at a 400 yr old Teluan tree, and at a Kelah Sanctuary. We had a great time exploring Taman Negara.

Taman Negara, Pahang (II) : Activities during First Visit 【Malaysia Adventure】
This video is Part 2 of my first visit to Taman Negara. It summarises some of the activities I had during the visit (not all activities are recorded though).
Part 1 of the visit focuses on some of the birds and fauna I encountered during the trip:
To visit Taman Negara from Kuala Lumpur by public transport, firstly take a bus from Pekeliling Bus Terminal (beside Titiwangsa LRT Station) that heads to Jerantut, Pahang. From Jerantut's bus terminal, you can reach Kuala Tahan either by taxi/local bus, or by boat (via Tembeling River). I let local travel agency in Jerantut to arrange boat transport for me. The boat was shared with other travellers, mostly backpackers.
