This time I want to show you the video about my TRAIN TRIP AROUND PILSEN REGION - Western Bohemia in the Czech Republic. I start in the morning in Pilsen main station, take IC train to Planá u Mariánských Lázní where I change to regional train to Domažlice. There I walk in the historical center a little and later I continue by another regional train to Klatovy, then to Horažďovice and finally back to Pilsen. I end my journey in Pilsen Slovany, new regional train station. I use 5 different trains.

Prague (Czech Republic) - City Tour - Trams & Tram Ride - Sunset River Cruise.
Prague is a beautiful city, an architectural gem with a fascinating history. The locals are friendly, the prices are reasonable, what’s not to like? There is even a regular non-stop bus between the main stations, close to the city hotels and the airport for just a few Euros. If you love trams you’ll love this place, they’re everywhere. The city straddles the Vltava (River) with the two sides connected by a series of ornate bridges. This is a city with an awesome skyline made up of ornate spires, fairy-tale castles, palaces and lofty cathedrals. The shops sell locally produced, glass, chocolates and souvenirs reflecting the Bohemian character of the people, amusing window displays will make you smile.
I arrived at my hotel a day before the tour I was booked on was due to start, giving me time to wander the streets, soak up the atmosphere, eat local sausage and enjoy a coffee or two. It was hard to put the camera down, there was a photo waiting to be snapped around every corner. This video starts with a walk from my hotel (Hotel Central) to Prague Castle via the Old Town Square and Mánes Bridge over the Vltava (River), followed by a long climb up a series of steps to Prague Castle where I was rewarded with amazing views and another delicious coffee.
The following day our tour kicked off with a ride in an amazing designer T3 Coupé tram, a wonderful combination of sixties style with a contemporary all white interior finish. In the evening we made our way to the jetty next to Charles Bridge where a vintage river boat was waiting to take us on evening dining cruise to see the city at sunset. Oh and did I mention all the trams? Please sit back and join me for a memorable city tour.

Šumperk District (Czech: Okres Šumperk) is a district (okres) within the Olomouc Region of the Czech Republic with a population of 123 890. It covers area of 1313,06 km². Its administrative centre is the town of Šumperk.
Šumperk District shares border with the districts of Olomouc (to the south), Svitavy District (to the south-west), Ústí nad Orlicí District (to the north-west), Polish Kłodzko County (to the north), Jeseník District (to the north-east) and Bruntál District (to the east).
Šumperk is a district town in the Olomouc Region of the Czech Republic. It is the centre of the north of Moravia and, due to its location, is known as The Gate to the Jeseníky mountains.

České dráhy (ČD) or Czech Railways is the main railway operator in the Czech Republic. In 2010 its consolidated revenues reached CZK 41.0 billion (€1.6bn, $2.1bn). Revenues from passenger transport amounted to CZK 18.7 billion (65% transfer payments from the government, 25% intra-state transport, 10% international transport), revenues from freight transport operated by subsidiary ČD Cargo amounted to CZK 11.8 billion, revenues from traffic control invoiced to state-owned railway infrastructure operator SŽDC amounted to CZK 5.2 billion. With thirty-eight thousand employees ČD Group is the largest Czech company by the number of employees.
The company was established in 1993, after the dissolution of Czechoslovakia as a successor of the Czechoslovak State Railways. It is a member of the International Railway Union (UIC Country Code for Czech Republic is 54), Community of European Railways and the Organization for Railways Cooperation (Asia and Europe).
Until 1 July 2008, České dráhy was the biggest employer in the Czech Republic. After experiencing regular losses and requiring government subsidies, the railway reported its first ever profit in 2007 although it receives government subsidies. Attempts to make it more efficient are currently ongoing and a recent plan to move passenger transport to an independent subsidiary was approved by the Czech government in January 2008.
ČD operates trains; fixed infrastructure (such as tracks) is managed by SŽDC. In December 2010, the Czech government proposed bringing SŽDC and ČD together in a single holding company. The government has also changed the subsidies available to ČD and SŽDC.
ČD Cargo, the cargo subsidiary, mainly transports raw materials, intermediate goods and containers. As of 2009, it is ranked in the top five largest railway cargo operators in Europe.

In 1980 Škoda produced ES 499.1001 and 1002 as prototype locomotives for the replacement of the existing ČSD fleet. Production series locomotives started to be delivered in 1984. Two single system derivatives were also created S 499.2 (AC) and E 499.3 (DC). During 1990 further development to run at 140 km/h lead to the ČD Class 362, but an order for 30 locos was canceled due to financial problems. Some ČD Class 363 and ŽSR Class 363 locomotives are being rebuilt as 362s.

“Grumpy Diesel” sounds like a character from a Thomas the Tank Engine adventure, also sometimes called Bardotka (Brigitte Bardot) because railwaymen likened the front profile of the locomotive to Brigitte’s shapely curves. Zamračená (Scowl, Grumpy) came about because it was said the loco looked to be scowling from the front view. The Class 749 Bo Bo diesel electric locomotives were built by ČKD as Class 751 between 1964 and 1971, becoming Class 749 as a result of being rebuilt with electric train heating in place of steam between 1992 and 1996. Rated at 1,103 kilowatts (1,479 hp) with a top speed of 100 kph (62 mph) most of the fleet have now been rendered redundant by electrification with the remaining examples transferring to ČD Cargo and various private freight operators around the network.
No.749.254-9 coupled to two veteran carriages starts our adventure at Brno hlavní nádraží (Brno Main Railway Station), a busy rail hub serving both national and international trains and finishes up at the end of a disused freight line. This trip includes rear facing, cab and line-side views of this fascinating odyssey.

Army Park Ořechov 2020 - Narva 1944 - Zimní bitva 4k - Marek z Brna
Celá rekonstrukce bitvy, maximálně zkrácená, natočeno 4K kamerou, původní zvuk. Prvně klid před sovětským leteckým 0:45 poté pěším 1:25 a nakonec tankovým útokem 2:32 , na konci jsou nacisti zničeni a okradeni.
Každoroční rekonstrukce bitvy z druhé světové války. V Ořechově u Brna kde byla na konci druhé světové války největší tanková bitva na Moravě. viz dále

V bitvě Ořechov 1945 bylo zničeno přes 30 tanků a obrněných vozidel a padlo v ní 960 sovětských a 275 německých vojáků. V bojových akcích zemřelo také 23 občanů Ořechova, Tikovic a Ořechoviček, v těchto třech obcích bylo zničeno 189 domů, většina ostatních byla těžce poškozena včetně kostela Všech svatých. Právě u kostela, v místech nejtěžších bojů, byl po válce vybudován hřbitov Rudé armády, kde bylo pohřbeno 1452 vojáků a důstojníků, a je zde památník.
