Brisbane to Cairns Road Trip Stops | 20+ Things to see and do along the Queensland Coast, Australia
Hi All and thanks for joining me today for my selection of Brisbane to Cairns road Trip stops, and things to see and do along the Queensland Coast, Australia. (Obviously this can be done the Cairns to Brisbane direction as well.) I'm featuring about 20 stops, but a few ideas in each place to see and do, like Swimming, Hiking, relaxing, Beaches, Island Destinations, Snorkelling and lots of fun for you or the family.

I originally had more stops to add in this video, but came down to the amount of footage I have, and the length of the video. I must admit it has been a very nice reminder of the traveling I have already done along the Queensland Coast and brilliant memories from this locations.
Please use this video for idea's in researching your own journey, based on length of time and budget. The footage I collected in this video was taken over several different trips and made it easier to afford - but also easier to get to as a local from Brisbane.

Innisfail, Far North Queensland - 4K Ambient Walk
Innisfail is a small town in Far North Queensland which was once known as Geraldton until about 1910. Whilst it only has a population of around 7,500, the town center was quite busy, making for a lively 4K walking tour.
The CBD's main streets are Edith Street and Rankin Street, and the town has the Johnstone Rivers running through it, all of which are seen in this 4K walking tour.
There is some old architecture and a few interesting sites. It's quite a unique old town which I feel will remain like it is for many years to come.
Innisfail in Queensland
Innisfail is a small town located in the Cassowary Coast Region, Queensland, Australia between Mission beach and Cairns and is a great place to visit. It’s primarily a sugar cane and banana town. It remains relatively untouched by the tourist boom and has the finest collection of Art Deco buildings anywhere in Australia. The town was originally called Geraldton but a Russian ship bound for Geraldton in Western Australia ended up at Geraldton in Queensland which led to the town being renamed Innisfail.

Hi Everyone,
TOWNSVILLE TO INNISFAIL | Qld Road Trip Ep05 | Cardwell Spa, Hinchinbrook Lookout & Paronella Park.
A slightly shorter video today driving further up north on the Queensland coast from Townsville to Innisfail. Only a couple of stops before heading inland through the outback.
It was a huge shame we couldn't swim in Cardwell spa, but I was glad to stop there, take a look and get some footage of it. Maybe next time I'm passing it will be a little better.

Our Tropical North Queensland adventures continues! We take you behind the scenes in episode 3 (part 1) of the 4 episodes we shot with @WUDUTV What's Up Down Under Trip of a Lifetime Series between Airlie Beach & Cairns. Etty Bay is such a magical little beach that is so beautifully hidden. Surrounded by mountains and Tropical Rainforest Etty Bay feels like it is miles from any town yet is actually little over a 10min drive to Innisfail CBD and 1hr 30mins drive to Cairns.
Etty Bay is one of the best places to encounter the Southern Cassowary aswell, so if you are looking for somewhere to have a great holiday and encounter some of Tropical North Queensland's most majestic Native Wildlife than Etty Bay is a must for any traveller!
