Einhovden Arna
Here is a nice video from my hiking trip to the viewpoint at Einshovden in Arna. The whole road goes on a nice forest road up to a nice place where you can enjoy packed lunches. The trip from the parking lot and up is 2 km. Einshovden is a great place to start if you want to go on to the top of Arnanipa. There will be a video from that trip one day as well. The trip is suitable for all ages.

[4KHDR] Driving in Norway: E16 & E39 Motorvei from Trengereid to Bergen
In this video you can drive along on the E16 and E39 Motorway from Trengereid to Bergen in the West of Norway. Coming from the center of the country, this is the main access way to the second largest city in Norway.
Starting on the E16, connecting Bergen with Oslo, we drive West from the town of Trengereid. Because of Bergen's geographical location, it's not a straightforward road and it takes you around some of the surrounding mountains. You can either choose to take the southern access road or the Northern, which features part motorway.
From Åsane, the E39 turns into a motorway until the city of Bergen. The long Fløyfjellstunnelen, a twin tube tunnel, bypasses a large part of the city. At the end of the video, we take the exit in the South of Bergen just after crossing the Nygårdsbru.
Bergen has about 285.000 inhabitants and is popular with (cruise ship) tourists, being a main access port for the Western Norwegian fjords. It has a charming old town featuring a UNESCO world heritage site called Bryggen. A collection of harborside trade buildings that date back centuries. Bergen is a historically significant city, being the start / end of the hanseatic trade route.

Kim and Kay took me on a hike up to Dagsturhytta Brakabu on their home island of Osteroy. What a place! Great hike, fairly challenging climb and a nice little surprise at the top of the mountain.
Plus I tell you about the ferry that keeps the village of Valestrandfossen connect to the Norwegian mainland!

The municipality covers an area of 465 square kilometers (180 sq mi) and is located on the peninsula of Bergenshalvøyen. One of my dreams was to visit the gorgeous Fjords in Norway and when the dream came true, I was amazed by the beauty of the place, and also the enchanted hidden paths along the way. In my journey to the fjords, one unexpected train ride from Myrdal to Flam took my breath away, The Flam Railway is one of world's steepest railway lines and it goes from 865m above ground to sea level in just 50 min to experience some of the most dramatic and magnificent Norwegian nature. Here you can see rivers that cut through deep ravines, waterfalls that plunge from the steep cliffs of the snow-capped mountain slopes, as well as mountain farms clinging on to steep slopes. UNBELIEVABLY GORGEOUS!
At the bottom of the Flåm Valley, you can admire the beautiful Aurlandsfjord, a tributary of the Sognefjord, the world's longest fjord.
Looking at all this unexpected beauty I remember that most of us are so caught up in our daily routines, that most of the time, we miss out on amazing things in our own backyard (neighborhood, city or state). You would be surprised how many great things and places are within your reach. You don't have to go abroad to be amazed!
Try to go through a different path in your way to work or home. Sometimes all it takes is to choose a new street to go through and then....BOOM! Just like magic, a new great place or event shows up that you never knew before.
Check it out! You might be steeply surprised. ;-)
