Tara na sa Cavite! Welcome sa ating bagong road trip serye. We are exploring the province of Cavite, Philippines. To start, let's go straight to the capital city of Cavite, The City of Imus.
The City of Imus is the de jure capital of the Province of Cavite. Under the Recollects, it became an independent municipality in 1975. In October 2009, Republic Act 9727 reapportioned Cavite into seven districts making Imus the Third Legislative District.
On 12 April 2012, Republic Act 10161 was enacted into law, converting the Municipality of Imus into a City. The people of Imus ratified this later on through a plebiscite on 30 June 2012.
The city's rich history is evident in its various heritage sites--the Imus Cathedral, Imus City Plaza, and Imus Heritage Site.
It was also the site of two momentous Katipunero victories during the Philippine Revolution against Spain--The Battle of Imus and the Battle of Alapan, where the first Philippine flag was unfurled and raised, making Imus the Flag Capital of the Philippines.

CHIILL WALK at the Vermosa Food and Lifestyle Market in Imus Cavite Philippines [4K]
Take a nice and relaxing walk around the Hermosa Food and Lifestyle Market in Imus Cavite Philippines. It's a small market near the Vermosa Sports Hub, and is best to get there around 5:30-6pm as I noticed that some places open a bit later. Just to make sure that most all the food vendors are open, I would get there around 6:30pm, and once the night lights turn on the the LIVE music starts playing, it really is a nice and relaxing atmosphere for a date and/or families. Plenty of street foods, and general merchandise items such as toys for the kids, and clothes for everyone, the Vermosa Food and Lifestyle Market in Imus Cavite is a great night out on the weekend. They are open from Thursday to Sunday from 4-9pm, but make sure to check their social media for the latest updates. Enjoy!
