Msida is habour town located in the East of Malta, it’s pretty close to Valletta. Most of the towns in the island has something different to tell and Msida is between them.
This city is the arterial connection between the main towns of this part of the island. The environment at Msida it’s enjoyable, it’s surrounded by restaurants, boats and much more. Also, has a unique character that speaks of active lifestyles and possibilities.
The main attractionin is definitely Msida´s large and amazing Yacht Marina nestled in Marsamxett Harbour. This place is busy all over the year because gives to the people the best experience in Msida, Malta.
If you are a traveler who next trip is to Malta, you need to come to Msida. Lucky you if made to come in summer, the other face of Msida is well appreciated in July, with the annual 'festa'. The well-decorated and the lit up is always mindblowing.

Balluta Bay is a bay on the northeast coast of Malta within St. Julian's. It is a popular recreation spot used for swimming, diving, and water sports, with a triangular pjazza surrounded by cafés and shaded by Judas trees.
Balluta Bay sits in one of the most touristic hotspots in the Maltese islands. This beach in Malta stretches from Qui-si-Sana in Sliema all the way to St. Julian's. This piece of coastline attracts sunbathers and those who simply want to enjoy a quick swim.
Access to this beach is easy as it had steps and handrails installed. Sea here is deep, clear and easily accessible. You will be swimming with a backdrop of hotels which is good if you don’t want to be completely cut off and have all kind of facilities within walking distance. The area is home to some of the best beaches in the area, like Tigne, Għar id-Dud, Fond l-Għadir and the area known as Exiles.
Balluta Bay lies on a long stretch of rocky coastline that goes from from Qui-si-Sana in Sliema all the way to St. Julian's. This coastline is thronged with sunbathers during the peak summer months.
Steps and handrails placed every so often allow easy access to the water. There are plenty of flat rocks to spread a towel on. The sea here is deep, and generally clean, clear and safe to swim. It is also excellent for snorkelling. Some hotels along the front, especially at the St. Julian's end, provide beach concessions equipped with pools, water sports and lido areas for nightlife. The favourite beach areas are: the Tigne area, Qui si-Sana, Għar id-Dud, the Exiles and Fond Għadir. Some are well-known lidos or beach clubs with public access. In peak summer the Sliema beaches become a very sociable, lively place to be by mid-afternoon. The promenade is excellent for long, striding walks in winter, slow strolls on summer evenings and for watching the spectacular waves during freak autumn storms. You will find plenty of snack bars and restaurants on the coast road and kiosks near the shoreline.

“What’s there to do in Malta for kids?” asked lots of my friends and colleagues. Apart from saying that we would be guaranteed plenty of sunshine and pool time, I struggled to answer.
However after returning from our summer family holiday in Malta, I can now confidently say there is plenty to do here for all the family, in fact Malta has become one of my favourite destinations in Europe.
Many families, (like we did for years) overlook this beautiful island, opting for the likes of Spain, Portugal, Turkey or Greece but Malta is the hidden gem of the Mediterranean.
At around a 3 hour flight from Cardiff, Malta is well connected from most UK airports. Its stunning coastline, amazing history, marvellous Mediterranean climate and lots of luxury family friendly hotels make it an excellent choice for families.
I can now see why Lonely Planet called Malta a “must visit destination” and how Malta is one of the Queen’s favourite countries.
