Very difficult to pinpoint an official language and a major ethnic group in this country because there is so many different ethnic cultures. One thing that binds the people together is that they are simply African. Even though there are many Africans that are dying of starvation, this one isn't doing too bad. Yes they are dirt poor for the most part, but the average Tanzanian doesn't go hungry. 80% of the population is rural so I can only assume that they live right off of the land.
This country is also famous for having the tallest mountain in Africa: Mt Kilimanjaro.
