This is a video from my good friend @Simon-Andersen explaining what happened to him, and his fellow passengers, when their SJ Sleeper Train from Stockholm to Hamburg, failed to stop for them at Copenhagen Airport on the night of the 26th/27th May 2023.
Then follows a quite comical exchange of phone calls, emails and tweets from SJ blaming everyone but themselves, refusing to follow EU law, and then ignoring all parties involved.

Davos
It is an Alpine town, and a municipality in the Prättigau/Davos Region in the canton of Graubünden, Switzerland. It has a permanent population of 10,862 (2019). Davos is located on the river Landwasser, in the Rhaetian Alps, between the Plessur and Albula Range at 1,560 m (5,120 ft) above sea level. The former Alpine resort village consists of two parts: Davos Dorf (literally: Davos village) to the northeast towards Klosters and further down through the Prättigau to Landquart, and Davos Platz (literally: place) to the southwest, which opens into the valley of the river Landwasser and eventually leads to Filisur. During summer season the Flüela Pass leads south-east into the Lower Engadine. Davos plays host to the World Economic Forum (WEF), an annual meeting of global political and business elites (often referred to simply as Davos), and has one of Switzerland's biggest ski resorts. At the end of every year it serves as the site of the annual Spengler Cup ice-hockey tournament, hosted by the HC Davos local hockey team.
Sunniberg Bridge
The Sunniberg Bridge is a curved multi-span extradosed road bridge with low outward-flaring pylons above the roadway edges, designed by Christian Menn and completed 1998. It carries the Klosters bypass road 28 across the Landquart River near the village of Klosters in the canton of Grisons in eastern Switzerland. It is notable because of its innovative design and aesthetically pleasing appearance sensitive to its surroundings.
Glacier Express
The Glacier Express (GEX) is an express train connecting railway stations of the two major mountain resorts of Zermatt and St. Moritz via Andermatt in the central Swiss Alps. The train is not an express in the sense of being a high-speed train, but rather, in the sense that it provides a one-seat ride for an 8-hours-long end-to-end 291 km (181 mi) journey, and omits stops made by local trains. The Glacier Express is known as the slowest express train in the world. As St. Moritz and Zermatt are home to two well-known mountains, the Glacier Express is also said to travel from Matterhorn to Piz Bernina.
Landquart
It is a municipality in the Landquart Region in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. It was formed when the municipalities of Igis and Mastrils merged on 1 January 2012 into the new municipality of Landquart. The municipality Landquart draws its name from a locality in the former municipality of Igis.
Maienfeld
It is a municipality in the Landquart Region in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. It is a tourist destination in the Alps, both because of the local wine and because it was the setting of the story Heidi.

【青ヶ島】船の欠航率５０％！上陸困難な島でみた、世界が認めた絶景
日本一人口の少ない村「青ヶ島」の見どころとアクセス方法を紹介した動画です。青ヶ島は、米国のNGOが発表した「死ぬまでにみるべき世界の絶景13選」に、日本で唯一選ばれた場所です。
概要欄には、青ヶ島のことや青ヶ島に向かうための準備と旅行中のようすをまとめました。
■青ヶ島について■
青ヶ島は、都心から358㎞、八丈島から68㎞ほど離れたところにあり、
緯度は宮崎県とほぼ同じです。
月ごとの平均気温が10～25℃くらいで、一年を通じて温暖なところです。
面積は5.96㎢で、東京ディズニーリゾート3個分とほぼ同じ面積です。
公務員や建設作業員の比率が高いです。
農業は、平坦な土地がないことと水が足りないことから稲作は行われず、
主にさつまいもが栽培されています。
■旅の前の準備■
旅の前に必要な作業として、「羽田空港から八丈島空港までの飛行機」「八丈島空港から
青ヶ島までのヘリ」「青ヶ島で泊まる民宿」の予約があります。
予約は下記の順番で行うことをおすすめします。
①「八丈島空港から青ヶ島までのヘリ」
②「青ヶ島で泊まる民宿」
③「羽田空港から八丈島空港までの飛行機」

まず①の「八丈島空港から青ヶ島までのヘリ」の予約です。
電話とネットで受け付けていて、電話は1か月前の9時から受付開始で、ネットは3時間後の
12時から受付開始です。どちらとも、予約の受付は搭乗日前日の16時までです。
電話番号 04996-2-5222 (9：00～16：00)
ネット予約
ヘリは1日1便で、席数は9席です。席数が僅かなので、早めに確保します。
3つの中で最も予約が難しいので最初にします。

青ヶ島村のホームページを見て、民宿に直接電話で予約します。
青ヶ島村公式ホームページ
民宿は6軒ありますが、1軒1軒が小さく定員が少ないので早めに予約します。
食堂やレストランがないので、1泊3食付きの民宿がほとんどです。

①と②に比べれば簡単に予約できます。

＜島内の交通＞
バス、タクシーなどはありません。
レンタカーはありますが、レンタバイクやレンタサイクルはありません。
青ヶ島レンタカー
私の場合、民宿に宿泊の予約電話をしたときにレンタカーの予約の有無も一緒に聞かれま
した。徒歩でも観光できると思い、予約はしませんでした。
しかし実際に青ヶ島を歩いてみて急な坂道が多いことに気づき、正直しんどいと思い、次
の日にレンタカーを借りることを決心しました。前日に電話しましたが、予約できました。
当日は、島内唯一の商店の十一屋酒店に朝9時ごろ訪れ手続きをしました。返却は夕方4時
ごろで、十一屋酒店のすぐ近くのガソリンスタンドで満タンにして返しました。
青ヶ島レンタカーは、日を跨いで借りることも出来るようです。
例えば、朝9時に借りて次の日の朝9時くらいの返却でも、8時間のプランで対応してもらえ
るようです。
＜青ヶ島の観光＞
●還住像
「青ヶ島のモーゼ」とも称される佐々木次郎太夫の像
青ヶ島は、その特徴的な二重のカルデラ構造により、外輪山が台風などの暴風雨を防ぐ役割
をしており、また、カルデラ内の土地は肥沃で大小二つの池もあったため、食糧事情は恵ま
れていました。
しかし、安永 9 年（1780 年）から発生した火山活動により火山灰や噴石が畑や家屋に甚
大な被害を与えたため、もはや青ヶ島で生活することは不可能となり島民は八丈島へ避難
しました。当時の八丈島は大飢饉に見舞われており、八丈島の島民の生活も苦しい中での避
難生活は、筆舌に尽くしがたいものでした。そのような中、青ヶ島の名主、佐々木次郎太夫
が帰島のため奮励し、文政 7年（1824 年）4 月、ついに青ヶ島に帰島を果たしました。この
青ヶ島の島民が、苦難の末に帰島を果たしたことを「還住」という言葉で表し、その精神は
今も受け継がれています。
●ひんぎゃ
「ひんぎゃ」とは、「火の際（ヒノキワ）」が語源となっている青ヶ島の言葉で、火山の地
熱蒸気が吹き出す噴気孔のことを指します。
●ふれあいサウナ
地熱を利用したサウナで室温は約60℃で、脱衣所から熱気を感じます。
平日 16：00～20：00 土日祝 14：00～20：00 (水曜日定休)
●尾山展望公園
地球をイメージした青いタイル張りの円形モニュメントがあります。
晴れていれば、昼は八丈島や八丈小島が、夜は空一面に「星の海」が見られます。
●オオタニワタリの群生
池之沢の中でひときわ目をひく植物で、青酎の製造にも使われています。
●神子の浦展望広場
かつての青ヶ島の玄関口で、天気のいい日には八丈島が見られます。

動画で紹介しなかったところを中心に、今回の旅行の様子を書きます。
◎1日目
羽田空港（7：30）→八丈島空港（8：25）【飛行機】
八丈島空港到着後、青ヶ島で泊まる民宿にＴＥＬ。空港に到着した旨を伝える。
民宿にＴＥＬをした後に、ヘリカウンターで搭乗手続き。
自分の名前と体重を申告して、荷物の重さをはかります。
５kgを超えるときは超過料金が必要になり
荷物の大きさは 縦 25㎝ 横 40㎝ 厚み 20㎝ までです。
八丈島空港（9：20）→青ヶ島（9：40）【ヘリコプター】
この日は満席で、私以外はスーツや作業着を着ていたので、観光客は私だけでした。
青ヶ島到着
徒歩で民宿に向かいます。
民宿到着
地熱釜を使った料理をしてみたかったので、食材を事前に用意していただき地熱釜のある
ところまで徒歩で向かいます。
1時間30分くらい歩きました。地熱釜の料理を楽しみ、次は港に向かいます。
港到着
30分くらい歩きました。断崖絶壁の岩の隙間になんとか船着き場を作ったような港なので、
船を停泊する場所がありません。そのため、船をクレーンで吊り上げ陸上に移動させ保管し
ています。船を使用するときは、再びクレーンで吊り上げ海に下ろします。
1時間くらい滞在しました。ここから民宿まで2時間弱歩き、1日目は終わりです。
◎2日目
レンタカーを使い、この日は下記の場所に行きました。
ヘリポート → 大凸部 → 向沢取水場 → 尾山展望公園
→ 東台所神社 → 丸山遊歩道 → ジョウマン
大凸部
途中まで車で行けます。駐車場に止め、頂上を目指しました。
向沢取水場
車で行く場合かなり狭い道を通るので大変です。
尾山展望公園
向沢取水場で車を止められる場所があったので、そこから歩いて向かいました。
徒歩で10分くらいの距離だったと思います。大凸部と同様とても見晴らしのいい場所でした。
東台所神社（とうだいしょじんじゃ）
尾山展望公園から歩いて10分くらいのところに東台所神社があります。
赤くて独特な建物が特徴の縁結び神社です。
丸山遊歩道
1周30分くらいで歩け、ちょっとしたハイキングを楽しめます。
ジョウマン
草原が一望できるところで、放牧されている牛がいます。星を見るのに最適な場所です。
レンタカー返却。民宿に戻る。2日目は終わりです。
※青ヶ島のテレビは、都心と同じチャンネルが見られます。
また青ヶ島には、ヘリポートと港のようすが24時間中継され、
画面下に役場からのお知らせが流れる独自のチャンネルもあります。
◎3日目
徒歩で青ヶ島の集落を散策します。この日は下記の場所に行きました。
ヘリポート → 十一屋酒店 → 青ヶ島小中学校 → 燃力発電所 →
→ 居酒屋「おじゃれ杉の沢」 → 居酒屋「もんじ」 → 青ヶ島郵便局
島唯一の商店「十一屋酒店」 営業時間 8：00～19：30
店の大きさは、コンビニと同じくらいです。物の値段は、本土と比べて1割から2割くらい
高い印象です。
青ヶ島小中学校
校舎は青ヶ島で一番立派な建物だと思います。道路を挟んで反対側に体育館があります。
燃力発電所
青ヶ島の電気は、ここで賄われているようです。
居酒屋「おじゃれ杉の沢」
青ヶ島には2軒の居酒屋がありますが、そのうちの1軒です。
店の前に自動販売機がありましたが、値段は本土と変わりなかったです。
居酒屋「もんじ」
立方体の真っ赤な建物が印象的な居酒屋です。
青ヶ島郵便局
ＡＴＭと窓口が、土日祝日でも利用できます。

※散策しているときに島民の人と何人かすれ違いましたが
必ずあいさつをしてくれました。観光客に対して好意的です。
◎4日目
民宿をチェックアウトした後、ヘリポートに向かう前に郵便局を訪れ、
一部の荷物をゆうパックで自宅に送りました。
ヘリポート着
青ヶ島での保安検査は、職員が金属探知機を全身にかざすだけの簡易的なものでした。
青ヶ島（9：45）→八丈島空港（10：05）【ヘリコプター】
この日は、子どもたちがたくさん見送りに来ていました。
ヘリコプターに一生懸命手を振っている姿が印象的でした。
八丈島空港着
次に乗る飛行機の時間までかなりありますが、おとなしく空港で過ごすことにしました。
八丈島空港（14：00）→羽田空港（14：55）【飛行機】

■最後に■
ヘリコプターは濃霧や機体整備等で欠航することもあります。
その影響で青ヶ島から出られず、予定よりも長く民宿に泊まることも珍しくありません。
不測の事態に備えて、現金を多めに用意することをおすすめします。
ヘリコプターは長期で欠航することもあるので、船で帰ることも考えておく必要があります。

From Samedan, we take the Albula pass to Chur with freight and then on to Landquart. In Landquart Paolo takes a break before getting his train for the next leg of the journey. From Klosters Platz onwards, we will be travelling as a mixed passenger and freight train.

#01 Driving Chur - Landquart - Sargans in HD 1080 #besterstern
Driving with . . . Fahrt mit Mercedes-Benz E320 Cabriolet, W124 mit kernigem, knurrigem 6 Zylinder Mercedes-Benz Sound von Chur, über Landquart, Bad-Ragaz nach Sargans. Bei wunderschönem spätsommerlicht welches durch den leicht dunstigen, zart blauen Himmel über die satt grünen Felder steift.
Zizers:
Zizers ist eine politische Gemeinde in der Region Landquart des Kantons Graubünden in der Schweiz.
Geographie:
Das Strassendorf Zizers liegt in einer flachen Hanglage umgeben von Bergen und Weinbaugebiet 10 km nördlich der Kantonshauptstadt Chur im Bündner Rheintal (auch Churer Rheintal genannt). Auf der rechten Rheinseite erstreckt sich das Territorium vom Fluss über den von den Wildbächen Schlundrüfi und Chessirüfi zerfurchten Hang bis an den Grat, welcher die Wasserscheide zum Tal von Valzeina bildet. Dort wird ganz im Südosten am Cyprianspitz mit 1774 m die grösste Höhe erreicht. Das früher ebenfalls zu Zizers gehörende Gebiet links des Rheins bildet seit 1854 die eigenständige Gemeinde Mastrils und wurde 2012 mit Igis zur Gemeinde Landquart vereinigt.
Im Jahr 1997 wurden 41,5% der Gemeindefläche landwirtschaftlich genutzt, der Wald nahm 38,5% ein, die Siedlungen 12,1%. Als unproduktiv galten 7,8%.
Zizers grenzt an die Gemeinden Landquart, Valzeina, Trimmis, Untervaz und Maienfeld.
Geschichte:
Das an der Hauptverkehrsroute der Deutschen Strasse, der Verbindung vom Bodenseeraum nach Chur und weiter zu den Bündner Alpenpässen, gelegene Dorf erscheint urkundlich 824 als Zizuris. Funde aus der Bronze- und Römerzeit lassen einen wesentlich älteren Siedlungsursprung vermuten. Unklar ist die Herkunft des Ortsnamens, den manche Forscher auf den römischen Dichter Zizerus oder eine Göttin Ziza zurückführen wollen. 955 schenkte Otto der Grosse den Königshof zu Zizers samt der zugehörigen Kirche dem Bistum Chur, wo er seinen Günstling Hartpert als Bischof eingesetzt hatte. Dieser Königshof wurde 2010 zufällig bei Grabungsarbeiten entdeckt und wird seitdem rekonstruiert.
Die Wirtschaft des mit Marktrecht begabten, kleinstädtisch anmutenden Dorfes ruhte auf mehreren Säulen: Neben der Landwirtschaft (Wein-, Obst- und Ackerbau) sind seit dem Mittelalter diverse Handwerkszweige belegt. Im Umkreis der Sust florierten Handel und Gastgewerbe. 1519 konstituierte sich aus den bischöflichen Herrschaften Friedau und Alt-Aspermont das Hochgericht Vier Dörfer des Gotteshausbundes mit Zizers als Hauptort (3/7 der Stimmrechte). 1649 wurden die letzten bischöflichen Rechte abgelöst und somit die volle Souveränität innerhalb der Drei Bünde erreicht. Seit dem 17. Jahrhundert sind in der Gemeinde beide Konfessionen vertreten.
Wirtschaft:
Auch wenn die Landwirtschaft ihre überragende Bedeutung verloren hat, prägen Obst- und Weingärten das Ortsbild. Zizers, bekannt für seinen Blauburgunder, liegt in einem klassischen Föhntal in Nord-Süd-Ausrichtung auf ca. 600 m Höhe und zählt dadurch zu den wärmsten Deutschschweizer Weinbaugebieten. Im übrigen dominiert mittelständisches Gewerbe. Gemeinsam mit der Nachbargemeinde Landquart wird die verkehrsgünstig an Bahnlinie und Autobahn gelegene Industriezone Tardisland erschlossen und vermarktet. In der Land- und Forstwirtschaft waren 74 Personen beschäftigt, im gewerblichen Bereich 144 und im Dienstleistungssektor 447 (Stand 2000–01).
Tourismus:
In der Gemeinde Zizers gibt es ein Hallenbad, eine Indooranlage mit Tennis, Sauna, Squash und Billard sowie eine Beachvolleyball-Anlage mit zwei Feldern. Zusammen mit der Einbindung in ein grosses Netz von Wander- und Radwegen in abwechslungsreicher Landschaft – vom Rheinufer mit seinen Auenwäldern bis zu den Wiesen und Obstbäumen am Hang – ist Zizers ein Teil der Tourismusregion Graubünden.

Bartholomäus Anhorn der Ältere (1566–1642), evangelisch-reformierter Pfarrer und Historiker in Graubünden und Appenzell, in Zizers 1612–1614
Rudolf von Salis-Zizers (1779–1840), Feldmarschalleutnant in österreichischen Diensten
Leonz Held (1844–1925), in Zizers geborener Topograf, Kartograf, Geodät und Offizier
Zita von Bourbon-Parma (1892–1989), als Gemahlin Kaiser Karls I. von 1916 bis 1918 letzte Kaiserin von Österreich und Königin von Ungarn, lebte von 1962 bis zu ihrem Tod am 14. März 1989 in Zizers.

The Bernina Pass at Ospizio Bernina is the highest railway mountain pass in Europe. At the top of the pass is Lago Bianco, currently drained!
This video is taken from train R1617, 0848hrs, southbound, ex St. Moritz to Tirano, from just after departure from Bernina Lagalb to Alp Grüm, with a stop at Ospizio Bernina, at the top of the pass.
It was extremely windy over this section of line, with plenty of snow squalls.
