How i found my dreamplace - Visit Castle Eltz, Castle Idar Oberstein and Wildenburg
Hello Lost Trevelers, in April i started a travel through Germany and later on Switzerland and Austria will follow. It will be more of a hiking adventure for these three countrys as i want to see more of its nature. After that i will travel to asia.
Today we will visit castle Eltz and also some more places. As i had no sleep on the night before i traveled afterwards to Idar Oberstein to get some rest and see the castle in Idar Oberstein and also the Wildenburg ruins.
Castle Eltz offers a tour for 6 Euro and it is worth it. I got a private tour because i was so early at the castle but it is not allowed to take any photos or videos.
Castle Idar Oberstein provides you for 2 Euro a small tour where you can take photos and videos. It is a small castle but you should check it out as you will help to rebuild parts of the castle with your visit.

Idar Oberstein Germany On the Felsen Weg Part 1of 3
A nice day for a walk in the hills of Idar Oberstein Germany. We start in town and climb/walk our way up past the church in the rock (Felsen Church) to some ruins and then over to the castle and out into the woods. Some views of Nahbollenbach where only 1 building remains of the Army warehouses. It is the old HQ building, which now houses several businesses including the ADAC (like AAA Insurance). You can also see Globus Baumart (hardware Store), the new convention center and a skateboard park. You can also see the entry and later the exit from the tunnel on the B 41and the railroad tracks. Part one of three parts.
