Spectacular views from above of the village of Huizen in The Netherlands. Huizen is part of the metropolitan area of Amsterdam and about 30 minutes drive to the Amsterdam city centre.
Huizen presents itself as the port of 't Gooi. There are therefore four marinas here: the municipal marina, marina 't Huizerhoofd, marina Watersport Centrum and the Gemeentelijke Aanloophaven east of the harbor of Huizen.
Between August and September, the nature reserves in the Het Gooi area start to bloom a bright purple colour as can be seen in the video.

Walking through a tiny village called Driehuizen in North Holland, The Netherlands. This walk gives a good impression of tiny villages in The Netherlands. Driehuizen literally means Three houses and was first mentioned in 1639. Driehuizen developed on the former island of Schermereiland. According to legend, there were three houses in 1603. After the Schermer was poldered in 1635, it received a road connection to the Zuidschermer. Driehuizen was home to 156 people in 1840.
