(10)New digha,chandannagar park with multi faceted amusement facilities like Children's' Park with beautiful Rock Gardens, Colored Fountain, Herbal & Floral-Gardens, Boating in the adjacent lake,Toy Train, Micky-Mouse, varieties of Merry-go-rounds, Jumping Medok, Wonder House, Columbus etc.
This Park has internal audio-system, flowers garden and colorful lights and fountain, which add more beauty during evening hours.
Entry fee of Rs.10/- for adult and Rs.5/- for children. Picnic Spot rent is Rs.25/- for each group with maximum 25 persons and Cottage Rent is Rs.125/-
(9)Bandel, famous for its oldest church is around 43 km from Kolkata. The Portuguese Basilica was built in 1660 by Gomez de Soto. The Bandel Church was among the first public buildings to be erected by the East India Company after Kolkata became the effective capital of British India.
(8)Taraknath Temple is the prime attraction of Tarakeshwar village of Hooghly District. Taraknath Temple, dedicated to Lord Taraknath, was constructed in the year 1729 by Raja Bharamalla.
Taraknath Temple is considered among one of the 12 abodes of Lord Shiva or the Jyotirlinga temples in India. This temple also has minor shrines dedicated to Goddess Kali and Lord Lakshmi-Narayan. Some of the auspicious occasions at this temple are Sravan month, Maha Shivratri, Chaitra Sankranti, etc.
(7)Kamarpukur is the birthplace of SriRamakrishna Paramanhsa , the Great Saint and Guru of Swami Vivekananda. The Math and the temple has been constructed on the very spot where this great soul was born. Well maintained its an ideal place to visit during the winters.
(6)Aqua Marina is a very popular and famous Water Theme Park & Resorts.This is the major entertrainment place to visit, relax and enjoy a lot with its magnificent glory of having multiple water pool facilities , mixed culture, tradition and it's people. This is situated in the center location of historically famous places like, Bandel Church, the novelist Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's birth place Debanandapur, Chandannagar, Belur Moth and so many.Also,this spot is very near to Kolkata City.All the facilities like fooding , lodgeing,accomodation considering many water pools, danceing & musical water room,picnic spots, conference rooms, wedding arrangemen.

(5)Lahiri ashram Rajhat, a village of Hooghly district located in West Bengal. Rajhat is famous for Lahiri Temple, situated parallel to GT Road, behind Arabinda Petrol Pump on Bandel- Pandua connector road. The entry to the temple is restricted by a normal gate around which a typical bengali fair can be seen. A lovely and well maintained garden welcomes you as soon as you cross the gate. Taking left leads you to the main temple. There are various small temples around the main block. The entire premise houses different idols from Shiva, Vishnu,Krishna, Durga, Kali, Buddha to Christ and Mother Mary.
(4)Sabuj Deep is a well known picnic spot in Bengal.
Sabujdeep is an attractive winter picnic spot in Hooghly district of West Bengal. The place filled with greenery at the middle of water can refreshes you. The place is near Bolagarh and Somrabazar station at Hooghly. The place is at the meeting point of Behula and Hooghly River.
(3)Garh Mandaran is a village and a gram panchayat in Goghat II CD Block in Arambag subdivision of Hooghly district in the state of West Bengal, India.
Around the time when Bakhtiyar Khilji (1204–1206) came to Bengal, the region was divided into five parts – Rarh, Bagri, Vanga, Barendra, and Mithila. Vanga was further subdivided into three parts – Lakhanabati, Subarnagram and Saptagram. When the frontiers of Bengal were expanded during Mughal rule, there were three prominent administrative zones in the Saptagram area – Sirkar Satgaon, Sirkar Selimabad and Sirkar Mandaran.
The ruins of a fort at Gar Mandaran provided the setting for Bankim Chandra Chatterjee’s novel Durgeshnandini.

একদিনে Bandel ঘুরে দেখতে চাইলে সকাল সকাল লোকাল ট্রেনে Bandel Station পৌছে অটো বা টোটো বুক করে সারাদিন ঘুরে দেখতে পারেন পুরো Bandel City এর সমস্ত Tourist Places.
1) Bandel Church
2) Hangsheswari Mandir
3) Hoogly Imambara
4) Lahiri Babar Ashram
প্রথমেই স্টেশনে নেমে অটো বা টোটো ধরে চলে যান Bandel Church.তারপর সেখান থেকে যান বিখ্যাত Hangsheswari Mandir. এই মন্দিরে আপনি অন্নভোগ খেতে পারেন 40 টাকার বিনিময়ে। এরপর টোটো নিয়ে এগিয়ে চলুন Hoogly Imambara. এছাড়াও ঘুরে দেখতে পারেন Lahiri Babar Ashram.
সবমিলিয়ে একদিনে খরচ হতে পারে খুব বেশি হলে 100 টাকা। তাই weekend e সহজেই প্ল্যান করতে পারেন এই short trip.
