Most people may think packaging pretty boring but it possibly effects your life more than you really imagine!
Central and Eastern European Packaging examines the packaging industry throughout this region, but in particular in the largest regional economies which are Russia, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Ukraine and Austria. That is not to say that the other countries are forgotten, they are not, but obviously there is less going on. However the fact that there are so many travel related films here is not from holidays but from business trips attending trade fairs around the region. Every packaging trade fair is a new excuse to make another film!

The Gross domestic product (GDP) of the region was 59.6 billion € in 2018, accounting for 12.6% of Swedish economic output. GDP per capita adjusted for purchasing power was 31,100 € or 103% of the EU27 average in the same year. The GDP per employee was also 103% of the EU average. Sweden (Swedish: Sverige [ˈsvæ̌rjɛ] (audio speaker iconlisten)), officially the Kingdom of Sweden (Swedish: Konungariket Sverige [ˈkôːnɵŋaˌriːkɛt ˈsvæ̌rjɛ] (audio speaker iconlisten)), is a Nordic country in Northern Europe.[19] It borders Norway to the west and north, Finland to the east, and is connected to Denmark in the southwest by a bridge-tunnel across the Öresund. At 450,295 square kilometres (173,860 sq mi), Sweden is the largest country in Northern Europe, the third-largest country in the European Union, and the fifth largest country in Europe. The capital and largest city is Stockholm. Sweden has a total population of 10.4 million, the largest of the Nordic countries;[11] and a low population density of 25.5 inhabitants per square kilometre (66/sq mi). 87% of Swedes live in urban areas, which cover 1.5% of the entire land area. The highest concentration is in the central and southern half of the country.
Sweden is part of the geographical area of Fennoscandia. The climate is in general mild for its northerly latitude due to significant maritime influence. In spite of the high latitude, Sweden often has warm continental summers, being located in between the North Atlantic, the Baltic Sea, and vast Russia. The general climate and environment vary significantly from the south and north due to the vast latitudinal difference, and much of Sweden has reliably cold and snowy winters. Southern Sweden is predominantly agricultural, while the north is heavily forested and includes a portion of the Scandinavian Mountains.
Germanic peoples have inhabited Sweden since prehistoric times, emerging into history as the Geats (Swedish: Götar) and Swedes (Svear) and constituting the sea peoples known as the Norsemen. An independent Swedish state emerged during the early 12th century. After the Black Death in the middle of the 14th century killed about a third of the Scandinavian population,[20][21] the dominance of the Hanseatic League in Northern Europe threatened Scandinavia economically and politically. This led to the forming of the Scandinavian Kalmar Union in 1397,[22] which Sweden left in 1523. When Sweden became involved in the Thirty Years' War on the Protestant side, an expansion of its territories began and eventually the Swedish Empire was formed. This became one of the great powers of Europe until the early 18th century. Swedish territories outside the Scandinavian Peninsula were gradually lost during the 18th and 19th centuries, ending with the annexation of present-day Finland by Russia in 1809. The last war in which Sweden was directly involved was in 1814 when Norway was militarily forced into a personal union, which peacefully dissolved in 1905. Since then, Sweden has been at peace, maintaining an official policy of neutrality in foreign affairs.[23] In 2014, Sweden celebrated 200 years of peace, breaking even Switzerland's record for peace.[24] Sweden was formally neutral through both world wars and the Cold War, although Sweden has since 2009 openly moved towards cooperation with NATO.
Sweden is a constitutional monarchy and a parliamentary democracy, with legislative power vested in the 349-member unicameral Riksdag. It is a unitary state, currently divided into 21 counties and 290 municipalities. Sweden maintains a Nordic social welfare system that provides universal health care and tertiary education for its citizens. The Quality Hotel Statt is a traditional hotel in Hudiksvall that has been a popular meeting place for both locals and guests from further afield since 1878. The hotel has a restaurant, relaxation area and conference facilities for up to 300 guests.

Winter camping by the sea outside Hudiksvall, Sweden
We drove 6 hours northeast of Karlstad to a small peninsular, Hornslandet, outside Hudiksvall. Spent the night in a tent by the coast in freezing temperatures and rain, but we loved it none the less. A good start to 2021!
We are also taking this opportunity to introduce ourselves a little, for those who doesn't already know us. Enjoy!

About a dozen times a day, the small city of Hudiksvall in central Sweden, is divided in two halves. This is because the trains are passing through, and it´s quite spectacular to witness the trains disappear in to the tunnel beneath the hotel Statt.

Explore Sweden #05: Take a Break From the E4 (5/10)
Next time you are driving on the E4 heading north from Stockholm to Sundsvall/Umeå/Luleå I can recommend to take the break at Restaurant Sjömärket in the beautiful Mellanfjärden. Just north of Hudiksvall in a place called Jättendal you take of from the highway and after 10-15 minutes you find this location worth the small detour.

Decorated Farmhouses of Hälsingland - UNESCO World Heritage Site
The UNESCO World Heritage site of the Decorated Farmhouses of Hälsingland is an area of central Sweden that's home to decorated farmhouses. But these farmhouses aren't decorated on the outside - they're decorated on the inside! Although the farmers in this area were wealthy, they couldn't afford to import expensive materials like marble or French wallpaper - but they could definitely afford to paint perfect imitations! There's seven farmhouses on the World Heritage List like this, and although most of them aren't open to the public, we managed to visit one along with several similar others that aren't on the List.

Hölick 2022 rundtur vintertid.
Hölick 2022 . En timmes film med start i Arnöviken ut till Hölick en helt otrolig fin dag februari 2002.
Under filmen får du följa med på en rundtur i Hölicks fiskehamn till Hölicks fyr och ner till badplatsen en helt underbar dag feb 22th 2022.
Den här filmen från Hölick är filmad med min Samsung Galaxy s20 and Gopro10. Jag har försökt editera så lite som möjligt för bästa upplevelse då jag vill erbjuda er en på plats känsla, samma intryck som jag upplevde på plats så ingen musik eller annat är tillagt.

Hölick är ett mycket populärt besöksmål som ligger vid kusten ca 35km från Hudiksvall. Området präglas av 3 mil orörd kust och naturreservat. Det finns många vidsträckta stränder och fin natur att njuta av.
Hölicks naturvårdsområde omfattar 313 hektar landareal och 285 hektar vatten. Här finns klapperstenfält, flera grottor av stenblock och flera underbara strandlinjer.
I naturreservatet finns många stigar som leder till de olika sevärdheterna. Alldeles utanför området ligger Hölick Havsresort. Här kan man hyra stugor, husvagnsplatser och tältplatser. Här finns även toaletter, duschar, butik och servering.
Bästa tiden att besöka Hölick är sommartid men tänk på att det snabbt blir fullt på parkeringar så kom ut tidigt.

Från Hudiksvall: Tag väg 778 mot Hornslandet. I Arnöviken tar du av till vänster mot Hölick. Efter en knapp mil är du framme (följ skyltningen).
