Beaches In Rocky Point Mexico (Puerto Penasco Sonora Mexico)
Looking for beaches in Rocky Point Mexico for your vacation? Check out this short video. We are from Arizona and love Rocky Point so much, we decided to create Visit Rocky Point Mexi.co to answer a ton of questions we get from friends and families. Plus, with so many folks from Cali coming, you all may want to drive four hours or so to Mexico instead of San Diego.

Sandy Beach
This is the big one. Most of the larger resorts, like The Sonoran Sun, Bella Sirena, or Princesa de Penasco, are situated along Sandy Beach. Running in a straight line from east to west, Sandy Beach gently slopes into the Sea of Cortez. Staying nicely shallow, this beach lets you forget about swimming on calm days (which is most of the time). Since it’s the center of tourist activity, you will find a parade of vendors offering silver jewelry, hair braiding, ice pops, fresh mangoes dusted with chile and lime, and more, especially on weekends. There are also horses available for a romantic sunset ride.
Out in the shallow waters, jet ski rentals and banana boats are waiting. Overhead, you may hear the buzz of ultralight aircraft. These planes wait by the road to Wrecked at the Reef, ready to take you for an unforgettable ride above the Puerto Penasco beaches.
Playa Hermosa
Sandy Beach turns into Playa Hermosa Beach at the Sonoran Sky Resort. The beach makes a gentle curve as it reaches the rocks along Hotel Penasco del Sol. Similar to Sandy Beach, Playa Hermosa has easy public access from the top of Calle 13. The Playa Bonita Resort hosts an annual Hobie Cat Regatta here in October. Seeing the colorful sailboats offshore makes this one of the most beautiful events on any of the Rocky Point beaches.
Las Conchas
Las Conchas is on the east side of Whale Hill. It begins at the base of the hill as Playa Mirador, named for the local neighborhood there. Mi Playa is a section of the beach set aside for easy public access, and it is located here. There are barbecues and palapas here. After Mi Playa, the beach passes in front of the Las Conchas area of single-family houses. This is a five-mile section of a very nice beach, with stretches of sand as well as rocky reefs that are uncovered at low tide. These are great to explore with kids for crabs, baby shrimp, and octopus as well as shells and sand dollars. There are a number of places to easily access this beach. Sea Side Reservations offers furnished rental homes in Las Conchas. Click to make a reservation.
Playa Encanta
Las Conchas Beach ends at the mouth of a large estuary. On the other side begins Playa Encanto. While Las Conchas often feels like you have the whole beach to yourself, Playa Encanto always has that private-beach feeling. Fewer houses line Playa Encanta, and it is a long drive out of town to get there, but nature-lovers and privacy-seekers will find it well worth the trip.
La Cholla
Jumping back to the very Western end of town, the little community of Cholla Bay is a great place to experience the extreme tidal swings of Rocky Point beach Mexico is famous. The waters of the bay recede at low tide, exposing clams and other sea creatures who live there. It has been said its the best place to find sea shells Just keep an eye open for when the tide creeps back!

This video is about a beach in Mexico where you can walk bear foot for more than 3 miles without worrying that your feet will get cuts from rocks, shells and broken glasses. This part of Kino Bay is clean, peaceful (specially during weekdays) and family friendly. It’s 75 miles west of Hermosillo and 300 miles from the US boarder of Arizona and Mexico. There are many nice hotels, RV parks, and cabins for rent for reasonable prices.

The Best Restaurants In Rocky Point Mexico seems to be seafood from the Sea of Cortez and of course, Mexican food. This video we made as a starter to answer the question of what to eat there.
Where Are the Best Places to Eat?
All of Rocky Point has great places to eat
Las Palomas has a variety of restaurants to choose from on site.
La Maria Bistro at Las Palomas. The ambiance of the entrance will impress you.
Here they fuse cuisine from both, Mediterranean and French dishes.
The Grill at Las Palomas, which is located on the main strip, offers an array of delicious dishes.
Mariscos El Rey. This seafood restaurant is a hidden gem in Las Palomas.
The restaurant serves fresh seafood and other foods prepared by local chefs who know how to prepare them properly without spoiling their natural flavors.
The staff here are friendly and helpful with suggestions regarding what to order based on personal tastes and preferences.
The Friendly Dolphin is arguably the most, recommended eating establishment in all of Rocky Point The restaurant is a museum in itself
There are four chefs who specialize in at least two of each main dish ingredients: Seafood, Mexican Food, and Chicken, each has recipes known only by himself and the preparing chefs

Si buscas una experiencia turística diferente viajar en ferry por el Mar de Cortés desde Baja California quizá sea algo que te haga falta vivir.
Para llegar desde Baja California Sur a la parte continental de México sin tener que conducir al norte casi hasta los Estados Unidos y luego a través de la parte norte del México, se debe tomar un ferry.
Otras empresas de carga aceptán pasajeros, pero la opción principal, y la que elegimos en este canal para mostrar en video es operada por Baja Ferries.
Rutas y Horarios
Hay dos rutas separadas disponibles a través de Baja Ferries, ambas viajando entre Baja California Sur y el estado de Sinaloa. Uno viaja entre La Paz y Topolobampo y el otro entre La Paz y Mazatlán. Topolobampo se encuentra a unos 425 km más al norte de Mazatlán por tierra, por lo que es un viaje más corto en ferry, con el viaje de La Paz-Topolobampo de 6 a 7 horas (algunas durante el día y otras durante la noche) y el viaje de La Paz-Mazatlán entre 17 y 18 horas ( solo durante la noche). What is it Like at La Playa Blanca, San Carlos, Mexico?
We went on an adventure to La Playa Blanca near San Carlos, Mexico. We found the area to be very pulchritudinous (beautiful). We met some people, had an encounter with some birds, drank a very strong margarita that should come with a warning label (that's not in the video actually, but it effected it).
