आज आप सभी को नर्मदापुरम जिले के क्षेत्रफल के हिसाब से 10 सबसे बड़े गाँवो के बारे में बताने जा रहे हैं, नर्मदापुरम जिला भारत के मध्य प्रदेश राज्य का एक जिला है, इसका पुराना नाम होशंगाबाद था, दिनांक 7 फरवरी 2022 को “होशंगाबाद” जिला का नाम बदलकर “नर्मदापुरम” कर दिया गया । नर्मदा नदी के तट पर स्थित होने के कारण इसका नाम नर्मदापुरम पड़ा। यह शहर नर्मदा नदी के किनारे अपने खूबसूरत घाटों के लिए प्रसिद्ध है। जिसमे सेठानी घाट एक प्रमुख आकर्षण है।

Hoshangabad, 18 km from Itarsi is a district HQ in #MadhyaPradesh. It was earlier called #Narmadapuram after the Narmada River. Later the name was changed to Hoshangabad after Hoshang Shah, the first ruler of Malwa. Famous for the beautiful Sethani ghat along the banks of the Narmada River.
The Narmada also called #Rewa is the fifth largest River in the Indian subcontinent. It forms the traditional boundary between North India and South India. It flows westwards over a length of 1,312 km before draining through the Gulf of Cambey (Khambat) into the Arabian Sea, 30 km West of Bharuch city of Gujarat.
The source of the Narmada is a small tank called Narmada Kund located on the Amarkantak hill, in Anuppur District of Eastern Madhya Pradesh. Dam's spillway discharging capacity at 3,070,000 cu ft/s, is the third highest in the world. Sardar Sarovar canal is the largest irrigation canal in the world.
