STENA LINE Ferry Tour | Harwich - Hook of Holland
Stena Line run two ferries between Harwich and Hook of Holland (Hoek van Holland), the MV Stena Hollandica and MV Stena Britannica, both of which came into service in 2010.
This was filmed in August 2022 on a family trip to Netherlands and Germany.

The North Pier stretches 4.5 kilometres into the sea (Dutch: Noorderpier or Noorderhoofd).
The pier has, from the gate at the beginning, a length of 1963 meters and the block dam at the end measures 2677 meters.
Hook of Holland, literally Corner of Holland, is a town in the Netherlands situated on the North Sea coast. Each year about 30.000 ships sail by Hoek van Holland.
The Nieuwe Waterweg (New Waterway) is a ship canal. It is the artificial mouth of the river Rhine.

Het Fort aan den Hoek van Holland, ook Fort 1881 genoemd, is een voormalig pantserfort in Hoek van Holland. Het fort, gelegen aan de Nieuwe Waterweg, diende om de vaarweg in oorlogstijd te beschermen tegen een vijandelijke vloot en het strand tegen een invasie.

Hook of Holland, literally Corner of Holland, is a town in the Netherlands situated on the North Sea coast.
The ferry from Harwich to Hoek van Holland is operated by Stena Line. There has been a ferry service operating since 1893 with only the two World Wars interrupting the service.
The small harbour, Berghaven, is only for the use of the pilot service, government vessels and the Hoek van Holland lifeboat.
The Fast Ferry (RET) connects Hoek van Holland with the Maasvlakte, which is a large industrial area constructed in the North Sea. It navigates the shipping lane from Rotterdam harbour and offers a fast connection across the Nieuwe Waterweg canal.
The beach of Hoek van Holland is 250 metres wide and 3,5 kilometers long. An accessible area through the dunes is great for bike-rides and walks.

The Best Sand Beach in Netherlands, there're many other beaches but this one is special becuase of it's easier access (also free Parking) and good for Families with infants/smaller kids, Nearby Gas station and Grocery stores are which are convienient if you plan to spend whole day. Also very nice tracks for Bicycles. You can also rent Surfing stuff for activities in Sea water.
