Hengyang, a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Hunan Province, is located in the south of China, south-central Hunan Province, an important member of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River city group, the political, economic, military and cultural center of southern Hunan Province . Hengyang city straddles the Xiangjiang River and is one of the important transportation hubs in Hunan Province and the central and southern regions, where several important highways and railroad trunk lines meet. Hengyang is located in the concave surface axis of the south-central region, forming a typical basin situation with a subtropical monsoon climate. Hengyang has 5 districts and 5 counties under its jurisdiction and 2 county-level cities under its escrow, with a total area of 15,310 square kilometers. According to the seventh census, the resident population of Hengyang is 6,645,243,000.
Hengyang is an important industrial city in the south-central region, one of the pilot demonstration cities of Made in China 2025, the first comprehensive bonded zone and national high-tech zone in Hunan, and is positioned as a national demonstration zone for industrial transfer and a key place for national processing trade. Hengyang is also a national pilot city for comprehensive reform of service industry, a national demonstration zone for ecological civilization, a national garden city, and a Chinese war memorial city in China. Hengyang has 15 universities, including South China University, Hengyang Normal University and Hunan Institute of Technology. Hengyang was named one of the top 100 best business cities in mainland China in 2018. In October 2020, Hengyang was named a national model city (county) for double support. on January 14, 2021, Hengyang was officially named a national sanitary city for the 2018-2020 cycle .

Shaoyang, known as Baoqing in ancient times, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Hunan Province. It is located in the southwest of central Hunan and the upper reaches of the Zijiang River; across the ridges winding east and south, Xuefeng Mountain towers west and north, and the Zijiang River flows from the southwest to the northeast. , with a hilly basin in the middle. Situated in Hunan province, Fenghuang Ancient Town is one of the most famous old towns in China. You can appreciate the antique flavor of this 300-year-old town, feel the rich culture of the 28 minority ethnic groups, and explore the remaining traces of famous historical figures and great writers.
Located in the southwest of Tujia-Miao Autonomous Prefecture of Xiangxi in Hunan province, Fenghuang Ancient Town or Phoenix Ancient Town is reputed as “the most beautiful town in China” and “Town in a Picture”.
