Since PART 1 and PART 2 are filmed with different cameras.
Do you have a preference in terms of overall video quality?
In PART 1 i read some controversy about the use of the term village.
It is built as a village-like complex, but it is not a self-contained village.
I think a better description would be, a residential community, which is located in the Sundsberg region which is part of the Masala village, which is connected to the municipality of Kirkkonummi.
In recent years, many new residential communities have sprung up in selected locations in Finland.
Usually in places with easy access to highways and public transportation.
The design of the houses is made similar, modern scandic design.
However, Kartanonranta, the name for this community, was not part of the 'Asuntomessut' (Housing Fair).
Asuntomessut is an annual housing fair held at selected locations, promoting new homes often with unique modern design.
With all these new residential communities coming up, you can see that Finland is growing fast and needs expansion.
That has a positive, but also negative impact, by which i mean that forests will have to give way.
I was lucky enough to film at the right time, after a heavy snowfall.
I explored the area 8 months prior to filming so this scene had been on my to-do list for a while ????
Like many other locations where i wait for the right time.

Walk around Heinola, March 2023, Finland [4K]
Heinola is a town and a municipality of 18,349 inhabitants (31 December 2021) located in the eastern part of the Päijänne Tavastia region. Heinola is largely situated between two lakes, Ruotsalainen and Konnivesi. Heinola used to be a remote village of then larger Hollola until it gained significance in 1776 when Gustav III of Sweden promoted it to be the governmental center of the province in which it was then located. The grid plan of the city center is from that era. Heinola was granted town rights on December 26, 1839 by Czar Nicholas I.

Ganz in der Nähe liegt der Hafen von Helsinki. Von dort fahren Fähren auf die Insel Lonna (Restaurant & Sauna Lonna), die Insel Vallisaari (Kunst und Natur) und nach Suomenlinna (UNESCO-Erbe und sehr beliebt). Wer Spaß an Insel-Hopping hat, ist hier genau richtig.
Überall in der Stadt kannst du lecker Essen. Die Restaurants in Helsinki bieten viel Fisch an. Aber auch andere traditionelle Gerichte aus Finnland, gemixt mit internationalen Einflüssen.
Ein Sauna-Besuch ist ein Muss. Egal ob jung oder alt – in Finnland gehört die Sauna zur Kultur und zum Alltag dazu. Hier wird gequatscht, getrunken und bei eisiger Kälte im See gebadet.

Scuba diving in Heinola, Finland 16.2.2019
This was my second dive under ice, but only a little time and not so far from open water. The visibility was great, but there was not so much to see. Ice looked wonderful under the water and of course the birds standing on the ice were nice. Lovely and peaceful dive.
