The drive starts at the village called Schattdorf in the canton of Uri.
By the end of the drive we will drive through the beautiful old village called Altdorf with beautiful historic buildings. It is also the junction towards to the two passes Saint Gotthard to the south, a major north–south axis through the Alps, and the Klausen Pass to the east. Altdorf sits on the Gotthard line and is the last railway station before the entrance into the new Gotthard Base Tunnel, the world's longest railway tunnel.
Located in the heart of Switzerland, close to Milano and Zurich, it has a great location for travellers and is definitely worth a visit.

Albinen, a scenic mountain town in Switzerland, had this exact problem. It was losing so many of its natives to the nearby cities that its officials decided to come up with a plan to appeal to potential residents.

Spiez is a town and municipality on the shore of Lake Thun in the Bernese Oberland region of the Swiss canton of Bern.

It is an April day, still quite cool, with colder wind breezes, but with bright sun .
The village of Schwenden im Diemtigtal is a good place to rest, to enjoy the sound of water flowing beautifully through the rocks and a squirrel jumping through the trees. Elegant and fragile flowers open their petals, so colorful and different, nature begins to come to life. what can I say?! is awesome !
