Småland ist auch die Heimat jenes allseits bekannten, schwedischen Möbelhauses, das dort ein Museum hat. Tamina Kallert macht auf ihrer Reise bei einer Elchsafari mit, campt direkt am Wasser im Åsnen Nationalpark und lernt die traditionellen Gebräuche des Mittsommernachtfestes kennen.
In Astrid Lindgrens Welt in Vimmerby kann man in die Geschichten der berühmten Autorin eintauchen. In einem Teil des Parks sind so große Möbel aufgestellt, dass Erwachsene sich wieder wie Kinder fühlen. Auf sieben verschiedenen Bühnen gibt es dort kleine Theateraufführungen zu sehen. In Vimmerby steht auch noch das Elternhaus der Autorin, das heute ein Museum ist. Dort erfährt Tamina Kallert einiges über die Liebesgeschichte der Eltern Astrid Lindgrens. Die nächste Station der Reise ist Gibberyd, die Original-Drehkulisse von Michel aus Lönneberga. Dort befinden sich noch der alte Hof und der Schuppen, in dem Michel einst seine Streiche abgebüßt hat.
Wenn Midsommar gefeiert wird, wird die Nacht zum Tag. Denn am längsten Tag des Jahres ist es nur wenige Stunden lang dunkel. Tamina Kallert hat sich extra für das Fest ein buntes Kleid gekauft. Auf einem Gutshof in Skruv feiert sie gemeinsam mit den Dorfbewohnern. Am frühen Morgen geht es schon los: Es werden Zweige und Blumen für die Kränze und die Mittsommerstange gesammelt. Zu essen gibt es traditionell Erdbeerkuchen. Den ganzen Tag lang wird getanzt, gesungen und herumgealbert.
In Eriksgården lernt Tamina Kallert die harte bäuerliche Arbeit um 1900 kennen. In Gränna machte Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts eine Witwe ihr eigenes Geschäft auf, in dem sie schwedische Zuckerstangen erfand, die dort heute noch hergestellt werden. Nicht weit entfernt hatten in Jönköping zwei Brüder eine zündende Idee, mit der sie das Streichholz revolutioniert haben. In dem ehemaligen Fabrikgebäude kann man heute das wohl weltweit einzige Streichholzmuseum dieser Art besichtigen.

Hiking Sörmlandsleden in Sweden near Stockholm (northern trail from start). One of the best hikes in Sweden.
Filmed in 60FPS high res 4K with GoPro Hero 8 Black and a Drone (DJI Mavic Mini 2).
The route of this famous Swedish signature trail starts in Björkhagen with a full trail length of 1000km split up into 62 sections. However only the 6 initial sections qualify as the “signature trail” and we hiked until section 4 in this video.

The Sörmlandsleden is the longest hiking trail in Sweden.
The section 5 starts from Handen station (Rudan naturreservat) where you can reach in only 20 minutes by commuter train to Paradiset naturreservat (the bus stop is Bruket).
Even though the weather was not perfect, the nature itself is super beautiful.

Stockholm local train or commuter rail is called pendeltåg in Swedish. It is the very important part of the public transport in Stockholm.
Pendeltåg started to be used on the mainline railways in Stockholm County since the late nineteenth century. A great many people take pendeltåg every day.
This video is filmed on Pendeltåg to Kungsängen. It will start from Handen Station and then arrive at Stockholm City! The view on the way is nice, you can see snow on the land and sunset in the sky!

Sweden - Best view in Stockholm - Monteliusvägen #219
Another day in Stockholm, today i walked on Södermalm from Monteliusvägen to Zinkensdamm.
A 500-meter long (quarter-mile) walking path with a magnificent view of Lake Mälaren, Stockholm City Hall, and Riddarholmen, especially at sunrise and sunset. The path is lined with charming houses on one side and a beautiful view on the other. There is, of course, a safety rail on the path, but be careful in the wintertime when parts of the path might be a bit slippery.

Stockholm is the capital of Sweden. It has the most populous urban area in Sweden as well as in Scandinavia. 1 million people live in the municipality, approximately 1.6 million in the urban area, and 2.4 million in the metropolitan area. Following out trip to Malmö for the Europa League match with Union Saint-Gilloise, Kim and I took an €8 flight up to Stockholm to link up with our mate Kristian, who showed us around the city. We discovered some the the sights in the harbour, learnt the story of the Vasa shipwreck and its Captain Söfring Hansson who had his final schnaps in Zum Franziskaner bar soon after, and also discovered the gruesome history surrounding the square outside the Nobel Prize Museum in the heart of Stockholm old town.
Overall, a great weekend and thanks to Kristian for showing us around, top man!
