Frankfurt, a central German city on the river Main, is a major financial hub that's home to the European Central Bank. It's the birthplace of famed writer Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, whose former home is now the Goethe House Museum. Like much of the city, it was damaged during World War II and later rebuilt. The reconstructed Altstadt (Old Town) is the site of Römerberg, a square that hosts an annual Christmas market.
Germany is a Western European country with a landscape of forests, rivers, mountain ranges and North Sea beaches. It has over 2 millennia of history. Berlin, its capital, is home to art and nightlife scenes, the Brandenburg Gate and many sites relating to WWII. Munich is known for its Oktoberfest and beer halls, including the 16th-century Hofbräuhaus. Frankfurt, with its skyscrapers, houses the European Central Bank.

Walk Through Hanau Christmas market
The Christmas Market in Hanau is fairly large for a medium-sized city. It is a 2G market, so they will check your vaccine or recovered status and a photo ID to get in.
The Vintage Ferris Wheel is the highlight of the market, but the decorations on top of all the stands add a special touch.
Hanau is about 30 min. away from Frankfurt by train.
There used to be a large military base in Hanau, so for any former military that were once stationed here, I hope this video brings back some fond memories.

Hi material gworls, we set off to Hanau for the day and had some German food at the Christmas Market that had us going like 'Hmmm? Acquired taste'. We thought Hanau was gonna have a lot more sight-seeing things but they were a bit out of the way so... we just had a pretty chill day. Had some really good Turkish food and then we out here with yet another Haul because we love buying shit.
