Lokförarfilm: Göteborg-Halmstad på 10 minuter
Det här är en återuppladdning av en film som jag lade upp för många år sedan.
YouTube hörde nyligen av sig och sade att ett musikbolag påstått att jag hade stulit bakgrundsmusiken till den filmen. Musiken hade jag laddat ner från en hemsida, där upphovsmannen lät folk använda den i utbyte att hen fick credit – vilket jag förstås gav.
Tyvärr är hemsidan borta och jag kan inte bevisa att jag använt musiken lagligt, varför jag riskerade att få sämre kontostatus. Därför bestämde jag mig för att lägga upp filmen igen, med ny musik och (viktigare för mina tittare) bättre kvalitet.
Så: Här är återigen en tågresa från Göteborg till Halmstad, filmad från förarplats och uppsnabbad i efterhand så att resan endast tar tio minuter.
Nästa del är också på tio minuter, då vi färdas vidare från Halmstad ner till slutstationen Malmö. Den totala restiden från Göteborg till Malmö är i verkligheten runt tre timmar.

Malviken and Barsviken are old fisherman community where only a few fishermen remains. The forest richness of blueberry and lingonberries.
A real heaven on earth.

Sweden: Tagab Class Rc3 electric locomotive leaves Hallsberg station on a service to Stockholm

The SJ Class Rc is the most used electric locomotive in Sweden. Rc is a universal locomotive used both in freight and passenger trains. The largest operator is Green Cargo, although SJ, Veolia Transport, Tågåkeriet, Hector Rail and the Swedish Transport Administration operate it as well.
The Rc-locomotive first appeared in 1967 to replace the 1950s Ra-locomotive, the 1940s F-locomotive and the older D- and Da-locomotives.The locomotives are notable for using thyristors instead of the older diode based system.
Altogether there have been 8 versions of the Rc-locomotive in Sweden including the freight locomotive Rm designed to pull iron ore trains. Rc1, Rc2, Rc4, and Rc5 have a maximum allowed speed of 135 km/h. Rc3 and Rc6 have a maximum allowed speed of 160 km/h. Rc7 was a rebuild of Rc6 meant to haul replacement trains needed when the X 2000 trains were canceled or delayed. Rc7 had a maximum allowed speed of 180 km/h. However, the maximum speed permitted without emergency electromagnetic track brakes is 160 km/h, and converting the carriages proved too expensive. For that reason all Rc7 were subsequently converted back to Rc6.

TÅGAB (Tågåkeriet i Bergslagen AB) is a Swedish railway company with headquarters in Kristinehamn. It was started in 1994 and runs trains in both Sweden and Norway.
In 1999, two locomotives (of type SJ T43 and TMY) from the company were painted in the colors of the U.S. Great Northern Railway to participate in Lars von Trier's film Dancer in the Dark, which was set in the United States but filmed in Sweden.

Hallsberg is a bimunicipal locality and the seat of Hallsberg Municipality, Örebro County, Sweden - It is also partly located in Kumla Municipality.
This settlement grew up around a railway junction, and is these days primarily known as a place where you have to change trains. The railway station is oversized for the town's own needs. Hallsberg was declared a municipalsamhälle (a type of borough within its municipality) in 1883 and got the title of a market town (köping) in 1908. Since 1971 it is instead the seat of the enlarged Hallsberg Municipality.
Hallsberg is famous for its huge classification yard and for the large train station. The reason for this is that railways (from practically all cardinal directions) to and from Stockholm, Gothenburg, Mjölby, Örebro and Karlstad join here. Among the more important is the Västra stambanan (western main line). As the railways were built, Hallsberg grew up around it.

This line has been completely change since this video was made. This film includes the old line via Karlsby that was replaced a year later.

Jag besöker ofta Hallsberg med tåg och möts då vi infart från Stockholmshållet av ett väldigt skräpigt område i anslutning till infarten. ( Välkommen till Hallsberg )
Häromdagen när jag besökte Hallsberg C och turistinformationen var den lika skräpig som tåginfarten.
Om man nu har en obemannad turistinformation bör man se till att den är städad och skulle något inträffa med den så får man se till att den stängs tillfälligt.
Just nu avskräcker den snarare än inbjuder till besök.

Today we will be taking the nightly sleeper train from Umeå in Sweden's far North down to Gothenburg / Göteborg on the West Coast. This 1000km, 12.5 hour trip will be made in a luxurious sleeper compartment. I hope you enjoy the video!

Let’s travel with me from Västerås to Gothenburg/Göteborg by train. Gothenburg/Göteborg is 339 KM away from Västerås and train take 3 hours 50 minutes. There are many major cities/town between these two cities, some of those are Örebro, Kumla, Hallsberg, Laxå, Skövde, Falköping and Herrljunga.

2017-01-21 Söndsgsresa Del 1 - Stockholm - Hallsberg med SJ
Vi åker en söndag i januari med SJ till Hallsberg via Katrineholm och passar på att testa den nya trerättermenyn i form av dagens rätt.
Maten som serverades var
- Antipasti med italienska charkuterier
- Rökt svensk kalkon med risonisallad och röd pesto
- Brownie
Allt var väldigt gott även om jag hoppade över brownien pga av problem med energibalansen.
Men gott var det och betyget blir 4 gafflar av 5 möjliga och det är mycket bra betyg.
Väl framme i Hallsberg stiger av SJ tågen och återvänder till Stockholm med Tågab men det finns i del 2.

The Swedish State Railways (Swedish: Statens Järnvägar) or SJ, originally the Royal Railway Board (Swedish: Kungl. Järnvägsstyrelsen), was the former government agency responsible for operating the state-owned railways in Sweden.
It was created in 1887 as an agency belonging to the Ministry of Civil Affairs, with the task of managing all state-owned railway lines in Sweden, and was transferred to the Ministry of Communications in 1920.
In 1988, the rail tracks themselves were transferred to the Swedish Rail Administration (Swedish: Banverket), and in the upcoming years parts of SJ were gradually transformed into limited companies. SJ was disbanded in 2001, with the assets transferred to seven separate companies, all owned by the Swedish government:
SJ AB, usually called SJ, the passenger train operator
Green Cargo, which operates freight trains
Jernhusen, real estate
EuroMaint, train maintenance
Unigrid, information technology
TraffiCare, which provides terminal services, e.g. train cleaning and switching
TrainTech Engineering, currently a part of Interfleet Technology, the technical unit.
Some of them have been sold to other companies, but SJ AB, Green Cargo and Jernhusen are still (2010) fully government owned. Apart from these companies, Statens Järnvägar for a time existed as a governmental agency. It controlled some property, but had no regular railroad activities. It was dismantled by the end of 2012.
